Our Helpline and expert advisers offer free, practical support to older people without enough money to live on. Through our grants programme, we support hundreds of local organisations working with older people across the UK.
We use the knowledge and insight gained from our support services and partnerships to highlight the issues experienced by older people in poverty and campaign for change.

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Campaigns Manager plays a key role in developing and delivering campaign activity to improve the systems that older people rely on. The role helps deliver the department influencing strategy, mobilising older people living on a low income, and those who care about them, to take action to support Independent Age’s influencing campaigns, often targeting Governments across the nations, companies, regulators and others.
You should have a passion for improving the lives of older people on a low income through influencing policy change. With a strong understanding of how policy, public affairs, media communications and campaigning interact to make positive policy change happen, you’ll bring experience of working with people with lived experience to shine a light on the need for change.

This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9 day fortnight.

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.
This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. Tasks will include writing minutes, helping produce briefing papers, and booking events and meeting rooms.
You will also be the first point of call for our campaign supporters, and will be aiding our supporters to take campaign actions through the drafting and creation of e-actions using Engaging Networks.

About the campaign
Our Campaign for Disability Justice, launched in September last year, is a vital initiative to tackle the systemic issues trapping over two million Disabled people in deep poverty. We address the root causes: inefficient social security regardless of employment status, barriers to employment for those capable of work, and a negative public discourse perpetuated by Government. The Campaign calls on Government to collaborate with Disabled People's Organisations to achieve these crucial changes.
Considering current Green Paper proposals and further benefit cuts announced in last month’s budget, our Campaign is has never been more needed. Join us to help prevent further impoverishment of Disabled people, as we work to oppose these cuts.

Salary and benefits package
Starting salary: £37,620 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£42,135 (inside London)

Campaigns Project Manager
Contract type: Maternity Cover, 12 months, 35 hours per week, with a starting date from June 2025

About the Role
As our enthusiastic Campaigns Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing WaterAid's mass campaigning strategy to influence governments and policy makers, driving campaigning actions through stunning, personal, story-led communications. The purpose of which is to increase our political impact and inspire supporters to advocate to end the water crisis.
This role is a Full-Time, 12 months maternity cover, with a starting date from June 2025. Our offices are based in Canary Wharf, London.
In this role you will lead on developing and implementing WaterAid's mass campaigning strategy to influence governments and policy makers, maximising political impact and supporter engagement, identifying opportunities to test innovative ideas.

To be successful, you’ll need:
- A good understanding of mass campaigning principles, and a strong interest in creating meaningful individual political actions that result in change
- Proven experience in a successful mass campaigning, direct marketing, supporter engagement and/or customer marketing role
- Solid project management experience, with the ability to manage large, complex projects from start to finish, working to agreed timescales and outcomes and with multiple stakeholders

The Role:
• In this role, you will be primarily responsible for answering questions from the public relating to woods and trees that are in danger, on behalf of the team that works on campaigns. The Trust gets hundreds of these questions every year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of staff to join Transport for All and support the delivery of our vision: Transport Justice for All Disabled People.
This role will lead on public affairs and campaigns, ensuring our policy positions and calls for change are communicated effectively to decision-makers and the public. The postholder will deliver strategic, accessible, high-impact campaigns, working with Transport for All members and allies to push for change. And they’ll build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Disabled People’s Organisations, government, local authorities, and the transport sector.
You will help ensure that all our external influencing is accessible, values-driven, and rooted in the lived experiences of disabled people.
We’re looking for someone with experience in political influencing, campaigning, or public affairs. You’ll need to be organised, creative, and confident representing our organisation in public-facing spaces.
Your responsibilities
1. Campaigns (50% of time)
· Develop strategic campaign goals and deliver inclusive, impactful campaigns, rooted in lived experience, in collaboration with colleagues and Transport for All members
· Use a range of techniques, including e-campaigning, direct action, and events, to engage and mobilise members and alliies
· Lead on using an online campaigning tool (e.g. Action Network), supporting and growing our campaigning members, while ensuring that accessible, offline actions are given equal weighting
· Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to ensure campaign content is timely, accessible, and effective
· Build partnerships with other Disabled People’s Organisations and charities to amplify campaign efforts
· Monitor and report on campaign impact and key performance indicators (KPIs)
· Ensure campaigns reflect Transport for All’s values and centre disabled people’s lived experiences
2. Public Affairs (40% of time)
· Communicate Transport for All’s policy positions to MPs, civil servants, mayors, local authorities, and other key stakeholders
· Build and maintain relationships with political stakeholders, including elected officials and sector partners
· Represent Transport for All at external meetings, conferences, and events
· Monitor and respond to political developments, identifying timely opportunities for influence
· Collaborate with the Policy and Public Affairs Officer to ensure consistent and coordinated external messaging
3. Cross team working (10% of time)
· Work closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Officer to align public affairs and campaign activity with our co-designed policy positions
· Contribute to internal reporting, including updates for funders and the board
· Take part in team planning and reflection processes to support learning and impact
4. General (at all times)
· Undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are in line with the general level of this post and as instructed
· Undertake occasional evening and weekend work as required, and take responsibility for arranging time off in lieu with your manager
· Line manage and supervise members, contractors and staff as required

Skills
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has experience in campaigns, public affairs, or political influencing
· Has a track record of achieving policy change through influencing
· Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Is confident representing an organisation and managing external relationships
· Understands the UK’s local, regional and national political systems and how to influence them
· Has experience mobilising supporters, ideally using digital campaigning tools like Action Network
· Has strong organisational and time management skills
· Has a commitment to and understanding of the social model of disability, and disability justice

Digital Campaigns Officer
Position Objective:
To implement and support digital campaign advocacy programmes for PETA and other PETA entities, including e-mail marketing programmes and online petitions

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the advocacy e-mail programme by writing, building, and/or sending e-mail marketing broadcasts on behalf of PETA and other PETA entities to increase engagement with or awareness of campaigns
- Maintain and regularly update digital campaign action alerts, which may include updating campaign targets, ensuring the accuracy of the text, and writing campaign updates
- Build and publish action alerts or petitions on PETA’s and other PETA entities’ websites
- Analyse and test the success of e-mail engagement
- Track and analyse the success of action alerts
- Launch and analyse the performance of Facebook ads
- Problem solve technical problems related to action alerts and emails
- Assist the digital campaigns manager with e-mail list management, data hygiene, and growth
- Write blogs to raise awareness of PETA’s campaigns and animal rights issues

Qualifications:
- Experience in e-mail marketing and marketing automation

Are you passionate about fundraising and helping abandoned and vulnerable pets? Do you have significant experience in direct marketing - managing campaigns from creative concept through to analysis, and working on new product development and initiatives?
If so, we’d love you to join our team as our Acquisition Campaign Manager where you will play a vital part in recruiting our cash and regular supporters. In this role our successful applicant will manage a range of direct marketing campaigns including DRTV, cold mail, inserts, telemarketing, and digital. About the role
This is a pivotal role within individual giving. Helping to plan and develop fundraising strategy and budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns of significant scale and generating income both now and for the future.
As part of the team generating £15 million per annum, the successful candidate will be responsible for acquisition and retention communications that talk to thousands of individuals. In addition, building relationships with supporters across a wide range of marketing channels (including face-to-face, DRTV, direct mail, digital) and different activities, and driving vital income to support the charity’s research and care objectives.
With a large range of activity coming up, individual giving income growing strongly, and investment secured for the future, this is an exciting time to join and contribute to a passionate, experienced and effective team.
About you
You’ll have good experience of running direct marketing activity to generate income, working with suppliers and at scale to solicit funds from tens of thousands of supporters.
A well organised person with excellent communication skills, you’ll be managing relationships with key external agencies and in house stakeholders to deliver complex, multi-faceted campaigns while closely monitoring and managing significant expenditure budgets. You’ll also have a real focus on monitoring key campaign metrics to optimise performance.
Working across email, online, telemarketing, direct mail, door to door and private site, you’ll understand supporter motivations, and how to increase supporter engagement. Testing and evolving our campaigns to best fit what works for our supporters and ensuring that our brand ethos is at the heart of all communications.
