About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
This role is to support the development of MAP’s programmes to achieve greater coherence and maximum impact in meeting health needs.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience of effective, accurate, and timely administration, be highly organized, responsible and flexible; ability to maintain responsibility for multiple administration tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Experience of working on client/volunteer databases and maintaining client records. Experience of writing letters of support and minutes of meetings. Knowledge of the political and conflict situation in the occupied Palestinian territory. Previous experience working in INGOs/humanitarian organisations is desirable; and excellent writing skills in English.
Duties and key responsibilities
Administrative support for regular medical missions
- Support the coordination of MAP’s regular Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) which provide medical support to health facilities in the region.
- Support the Programme Support Officer to manager MAP’s network of volunteer health specialists. This includes scheduling and recruiting new volunteers and conducting background checks, arranging briefing calls, ensuring all required documentation is collected, accurately recorded.
- Monitoring the Programmes Team shared inbox, responding to enquiries from potential new volunteers, and logging data.
- Working closely with MAP’s UK Logistics and Procurement Officer for volunteers’ flights, orders supplies; writing letters of support
- Supporting the maintenance of MAP’s medical volunteer database.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for the Institutional, MEAL and Safety & Security functions within the UK Programmes Team.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring team calendars are up-to-date, and minuting programme meetings.
- Maintain key project tracking documents and project files.
- Provide any other administrative support to the Programmes team.

About the role:
Your chance to join the Diocese of Chelmsford Programme Management Office as a Programme Manager, working within a mission focused team to develop and shape coherent programmes of change ‘to enliven disciples to make disciples’ in the Bradwell Episcopal Area.

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Grants & Programmes Lead. This role plays an integral role within the team to deliver impact to tens of thousands of dogs and cats around the world. The Grants and Programmes Lead will manage the team of expert grant managers, guiding and empowering them to achieve impact.
The Lead will oversee several portfolios of work within the grants and programmes function at Battersea, as we expand our work to impact more dogs and cats. Over the coming five years it is planned that the size and complexity of grant making, and other forms of programming will grow, including the establishment of several multi-year programmes in the UK and abroad. The Lead will play a key role in managing change as the function grows to deliver greater impact.
This is a senior role within the Grants and Programmes team in the Global Programmes Directorate, requiring excellent experience of people management, implementing strategic programmes and good grant making practice at a team level. The successful postholder should be comfortable taking an adaptive management approach and coaching the team to shape proposals and portfolios of work to advance the collective interests of a team. We are delighted to announce that a new 2 year fixed-term role has become available and we are looking to recruit a Programme and Events Manager.
The primary focus of the role is the day-to-day management of contracts to deliver the secretariat functions of: the Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP) and the Building Evidence in Education (BE2) network. This comprises of various donor contracts, both from governmental and private sector foundations. The Programme and Events Manager will oversee the delivery of programmes, coordinating budgets, workplans, consultant management, and administration. The Programme and Events Manager will also work with the Team Lead to schedule and plan GEEAP and BE2 events such as the annual BE2 members meeting, the GEEAP panel meeting and participation in Education World Forum (EWF).

Education Programmes Lead
Vocabulous is looking to recruit a part-time member of staff to lead its regional training programmes, recruit more schools, and help develop the curriculum at both KS2 and KS3.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about improving students’ outcomes in literacy, and excited about revealing the patterns in English vocabulary to the next generation of students.

The Role
Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are looking for a part-time member of staff to lead our education programmes. This will involve talking to new schools about using the site, working with schools to support them to implement Vocabulous in lessons and running regional training programmes to build networks of schools that are confidently and consistently teaching Latin and Greek roots.
The other aspect of the role is to contribute to the development of the new KS2 and KS3 curricula. This will involve designing aspects of the new programmes, writing questions and resources, and planning changes in response to school feedback. Over the next couple of years, the programme is going to be split into a KS2 site and a KS3 site, with the KS2 site being launched in September 2025.
We are a small organisation with a social purpose, so we are looking for someone who is excited about the job description, but who is also interested in learning more about all aspects of running an education start-up and keen to support Vocabulous’ strategy and growth beyond their job role.
Key responsibilities include:

The Vacancy
The Programme Development Manager is committed to supporting colleagues and partners in programme design and development. The team also connects programmatic issues and global policy and advocacy to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground.
Saferworld’s income is secured primarily from statutory and institutional donors; however, securing funding to support our partners in conflict-affected countries and allow for more flexible programming increasingly requires a more diverse funding base. The Programme Development Manager will support efforts to identify and secure funds from statutory donors, trusts and foundations, and other non-traditional funding mechanisms.
The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes. The successful applicant will have a focus of approximately 4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. Working closely with Country Managers/Directors, and programme and grant management colleagues, the post-holder will lead on: coordinating and facilitating programme development processes (including taking the lead in drafting high quality concept notes and proposals, theories of change, logical models, risk matrixes and budgets); developing and supporting the implementation of long-term country funding strategies and donor engagement strategies; and supporting new donor engagement and sustaining relationships with current donors. The post-holder will be responsible for growing institutional funding portfolios in our programmes.
The post-holder will have a successful track record in developing programmes and leading new business development efforts with institutional donors such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United States Government (USG)/United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Union (EU), UN agencies and European Governments such as Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Additional experience in mobilising resource from trusts and foundations and other non-traditional funding mechanisms is desirable.
They will have proven skills and experience in programme management and support, successful programme design processes and bid leadership.

About the role
Sightsavers Kenya office is currently recruiting for a Programme Officer to support the Global Labour Programme and manage activities and relationships with key stakeholders. The Programme Officer will ensure the planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the programme is held to the highest standards.
A major part of this role will be delivering the programme, working with our coalition partners, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing quality information on case studies relating to the programme.
As the Programme Officer you will:
- Work with the Chief of Party and all members of the Programme Management Unit to coordinate quality implementation of activities and timely sharing of lessons learned by consortium partners.
- Manage all aspects of the programme cycle with the partners including effective planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, financial and asset management, reporting and documentation.
- Liaise and work with the Sightsavers Global Technical Leads (Disability Inclusion, Gender Inclusion, Economic Empowerment and Social & Behavioural Change), MEL and other internal experts as required.
- Participate implementation of the programmes monitoring and evaluation framework.
- Build effective relationships with consortium partners and support longer-term relationships that go beyond the duration of the Global Labor Program by disseminating information and advocating for the programme's goals and the consortium's work in general.
- Monitor expenditure of project financial resources in liaison with the Finance Officer and the Programme Manager.
- Ensure that the GLP Project Management Unit receives appropriate materials and information to support donor-reporting requirements.
- Participate in all PR activities related to disability inclusive employment and employment in general, education and social inclusion, for example Labour Day, UN Day of Persons with Disabilities.
As the successful candidate you will have experience implementing programmes, including experience of the disability sector and gender mainstreaming. You will also have a background in agribusiness-based interventions working with relevant government departments/ministries, and experience in working with devolved County Government departments.

- Experience in providing technical assistance to partner organizations.
- Experience in designing and implementing data collection strategies and analysing data in MS Excel.
- Ability to travel to programme implementation sites in Nairobi, Kisumu, Migori and Homa Bay as required.

Job Purpose
The Programme Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will assist the Programme Manager by liaising with local schools and organising tuition within the Manchester area. This will include attending meetings, coordinating tuition sessions and arranging tutor cover.
You will also support the tutor recruitment and training process and help to ensure that it runs smoothly. You will also maintain and improve systems for the benefit of all our tutors, including ongoing tutor support.
Main Functions
· Assist with setting up and managing tuition assignments across multiple schools/ colleges across Greater Manchester.
· Input tuition related data into our Tutor Trust systems to support quality and impact
· Represent Tutor Trust in introductory meetings between tutors and teachers in schools and online
· Assist with general office functions in Manchester
· Assist in developing closer relations between tutors and opportunities for networking and working together
