Overview of Go-Forward:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small charity at a time of big growth. Go-Forward Youth was founded by care leavers to provide support to care experienced young people as they transition to adulthood and independence. Our core aim is to reduce social isolation and improve outcomes for young adults who have recently left the care system by offering a place for them to turn in moments of loneliness, crisis and celebration, and offering programmes that support them to develop the skills required for living independently. Our long-term vision is to combat the stigma that surrounds care leaving so that care leavers feel supported and empowered to achieve their ambitions without barriers to access.
We run a busy programme of social activities, personal development and employability skills training for care leavers across London and are looking for a hardworking, highly motivated and conscientious individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the charity.
Main Tasks:
To support the Go-Forward Youth CEO in maintaining professional, robust, and efficient administrative systems and records for both Go-Forward Youth as follows:
1.Be the first point of contact for both entities and to manage the office email account and diary, drawing to CEO, Funding Manager or Chair of Trustees matters that they need to action, and ensuring that we respond in timely fashion to all external communications.
2. Administration of courses and programmes
a. Maintain lists of participants and volunteers, including attendance logs
b. Ensure that we maintain appropriate records for each – for identification and compliance, for communications, and for programme progress
c. Produce and distribute regular updates to both volunteers and programme participants
d. Liaise with Local Authorities (LAs) regarding the administrative aspects of developing Go-Forward Youth projects and programmes in other LA boroughs
e. Assist with recruitment and onboarding and on boarding of new staff.
f. Maintain risk assessment, safeguarding, fire safety and other records, making sure all policies are reviewed and updated yearly. Ensure that all staff and volunteers working with clients have been DBS checked (Enhanced).
3. Administration of grant applications
a. Support the Funding Manager by logging, recording and monitoring the progress of Go-Forward Youth grant and funding applications, along with report deadline.
b. Update the CEO and Trustees on in-progress funding applications and ensure action is taken and deadlines are met where necessary.
c. For grants won, ensure that reporting cycles are noted in the charity’s diary, and that the appropriate reports to funders get sent
4. Administration of Board and other internal compliance processes
a. Meet with the CEO weekly to review the overall performance and objectives of the charity.
b. Maintain systemised record keeping of invoices and receipts, to be stored securely and sent to the relevant key personnel.
c. Undertake any other administrative activity necessary to support the smooth running of the charity as instructed by the CEO.
d. Assist the Treasurer or Chair in the preparation, administration and submission of the annual accounts to the Charity Commission and Companies House in a timely manner.
e. Assist in the preparation of board meeting papers, including circulating meeting agendas and taking and distributing minutes of meetings as required.
f. Prepare and send out personalised birthday and celebration cards to young participants.
g. Look for opportunities to create, develop and streamline existing office systems.
h. Support the administration of the lived-experience-led Youth Advisory Board (YAB) and Own-It Alumni Network.
i. Maintain and develop clear and full electronic and physical filing systems.
j. Organise the logistics, catering and other event organisation for the quarterly Trustee meetings and other ad hoc meetings and events as appropriate.
5. Administration of external communications
a. Update and review the communication channels, via website or social media fortnightly.

The Research Officer will join our Applied Research and Evaluation Division to support various projects, generally focussing on children and young people with multiple needs. Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE
Act as a Senior Officer working across the area, guiding and supporting teams in matters of practice, quality, performance, compliance, and resource management. Carry a caseload of complex need service users, line manage support workers as needed for temporary periods, deputise for Service Leads, and support targeted failing services.
Improve the lives of service users by coordinating the provision of direct housing-related support and housing management services, working with area operational and central support teams, and liaising with a range of external agencies and partners. There may also be a requirement to work independently in the community and/or service settings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a peripatetic senior operational lead, providing direct input and support on practice, performance, or quality matters.
- Coordinate and deliver service improvement plans for services, working in collaboration with the Quality team and Service Leads. Support in the coordination of service audits.
- Work with the Quality and Safeguarding Team on developing and implementing procedures and toolkits for service users requiring higher levels of support.
- Serve as a safeguarding lead, advising teams on effective management of incidents, practice, and reporting. Liaise with relevant external agencies, e.g., Local Authority, Social Services, Children's teams, etc.
- Act as an operational subject matter expert, contributing to policy and procedure reviews.
- Represent services at external operational meetings related to service user assessments, reviews, and referrals as required.
- Deputise for the Service Lead at external service or contract reviews as required.
- Deputise for Service Leads as needed and line manage teams of support workers temporarily.
- Ensure teams comply with voids and arrears protocols and procedures, and review performance data with Service Leads, intervening where there are areas of underperformance or non-compliance.
- Liaise with Housing Management and Performance teams to monitor service performance and agree on the implementation and reporting of any improvement actions.
- Lead Health and Safety and compliance roles for the area in matters related to gas certification, legionella, property standards, and fire risk assessment completion and actions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Location: Hybrid role with two days at MAF UK, Folkestone, and one day at our Operations Centre, MAF International, Ashford. The remaining two days from home or you may work at the office.

As a Legacy Management Officer, you will join the Friends & Family Legacy Management team as part of the UK's largest charity. You will play a valuable role in delivering our Legacy Product Strategy by managing a caseload of pecuniary, residuary, and life interest trust legacies and building collaborative relationships with solicitors, law firms and other professionals involved in legacy giving or Wills substitutes. You will play a key role in being the first point of contact for our supporters/members of the public and in administering estates generously donated to Cancer Research UK by our deceased supporters/ donors in a professional and approachable manner.

What will I be doing?

Driving New Business Growth:
- Identify and nurture growth opportunities for new employer partnerships through thorough desk research and strategic outreach efforts, ultimately increasing the team’s conversion rate through targeted appointment generation.
Promotional Activities:
- Represent Ada at internal and external networking events, leveraging opportunities to expand our influence and strengthen our partnerships.

- Drive customer (employer partner) success through rigorous reporting of cohort progress and swiftly resolving any issues in collaboration with Ada skills coaches, academic and operational teams.

- Streamline the onboarding process for employer partners, ensuring seamless execution of contracts and compliance with ESFA funding rules, while providing continuous support and communication until completion.

The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role
As a Sustainability Officer, you will develop and implement sustainability initiatives and action plans across our parks.
Providing administrative support to the Head of Sustainability, you will assist with engagement activities, process utility bills and support in the operational delivery of our ISO 14001 environmental management system.
In this varied role, you will get involved in everything from carrying out environmental audits to supporting different park teams with sustainability challenges. You will also gather sustainability data for monitoring.
Additionally, you will:

- Help set up mechanisms to track and report against delivery
- Support the Head of Sustainability in managing our energy and water consumptions

About You

Working arrangements

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with a passion for our mission to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives as we work to scale our fundraising by growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling fundraising operational duties
This is a new role, joining a small but growing Fundraising and Events Team, and having a real input into our plans and strategies for the future. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will oversee most fundraising income generation activity.
The Fundraising Officer will build positive relationships to secure significant income and develop new relationships with groups, business and individuals, bringing in regular and targeted income through regular donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have fundraising experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating fundraising campaigns and ‘asks’). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising Overview
- Develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for The Cinnamon Trust.
- Maximise the contributions and connections with local business and individuals.
- Coordinate all appeals including The Big Walk across all income and media streams.
- Research and utilise new fundraising streams and opportunities such as Payroll Giving, Legacies (with help from The Legacy Officer), in Memory Giving and Online Giving.
Supporter Engagement and Stewardship
- Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to The Trust’s supporters.
- To be responsible for thanking all supporters and managing a supporter engagement journey – ensuring that effective processes are in place and driving levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as the ‘first point of call’ for all fundraising volunteers and maintaining excellent communication with supporters throughout these processes, in conjunction with other teams.
- Develop and implement Fundraising groups across the UK
Database Management
- To ensure efficient, appropriate data capture and analysis for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
- Maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed.
- Train other staff members to support general fundraising.
- Ensure all records, fundraising data and fundraising administration is kept up to date and all information is GDPR-compliant.
- Reconcile fundraising income with the Finance Manager, including Gift Aid claims, missed, failed payments and Direct Debit cancellations.
Individual Giving
- Develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
- Lead the growth of CT100 monthly giving.
- Work with the Press and PR Manager on fundraising communication and to ensure donors are kept up to date on the difference their support makes.
Fundraising Appeals and Campaigns
- Work alongside teams and PR and Communications Manager to promote The Cinnamon Trust.
- Establish a corporate fundraising strategy with an accompanying narrative, alongside the PR and Communications Manager.
- Tailor campaigns and appeals for different audiences and supporters alongside PR and Communications Manager to target corporates; smaller local businesses and individuals
Staff and Volunteers
- Support with recruiting fundraising volunteers as appropriate.
- Work closely with Head of Operations and PR and Communications Manager to ensure all fundraising is coordinated.
Wider organisational responsibilities
- Read and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Lead on applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies with support from the Head of Operations.
- Undertake responsibilities associated with being a member of The Cinnamon Trust
