As our Senior Accountant & Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight, advice and support to key stakeholders across the organisation. You will be a trusted adviser to non-finance teams helping them to understand financial data and make informed decisions. You will be a key element of the high-performing and credible finance team, supporting both the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant and the Assistant Accountant in operational finance and in ongoing delivery of accurate financial information on which the business partnering relies.

You will have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders across the RCR. What you’ll do:
- Deliver a decision support service to managers and directors to deliver improved financial performance outcomes for the RCR.
- Ensure that partners use effective financial controls over their spend and income conforming to RCR’s policies and to optimise RCR’s outcomes.
- Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.
- Provide effective analytical insight and advice to partners and Head of Finance to maximise the return on investment and support for implementing change to improve outcomes.
- Supporting RCR’s regular financial and non-financial performance reporting with analytical advice, insight and commentaries.

What you’ll need:
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)

- To advise and support the Skills and Activities Coordinator in developing practical skills and/or qualification for people/groups using and supporting the sites development to encourage independence and empowerment
- To mentor and coach those using the sites services to lead and shape the sites programme of development as a sustainable community space and social enterprise.
- Work one Saturday per month, as agreed with the Service Development Manager, to open the nursery to volunteer project gardeners, and as a produce sale point to the local community

This role supports the Executive Director of Breathe Cities. As the Executive Assistant (EA), working alongside the Senior Executive Assistant and Support Manager, and CEO Office team, this role ensures the Director and their teams are supported to work efficiently and effectively and that team projects are facilitated to run smoothly. The Purpose of the Role
The Executive Director, IRC UK is responsible for delivering all of IRC’s targets in the UK, particularly with respect to fundraising, advocacy and communications but also UK finance, operations, and people and culture. The Executive Director leads the UK Senior Management Team.
An important objective for the Executive Director IRC UK will be maintaining the UK as a net contributing office within the IRC and to broaden, deepen and make more sustainable the IRC’s access to funding in the UK. We help improve the quality of curriculum teachers teach and pupils access, and lower teacher workload from lesson planning. Compensation
- 25 days holiday (pro rata), plus public holidays.
