About you

Our preferred candidate for this role must be capable of advocating for grasslands, temperate rainforest and other overlooked habitats to be valued as attractive investments in these new markets. This will be based on meticulous research and knowledge of the ecosystem services provided by those habitats and the species within them.
Therefore, we need someone who complements their advanced understanding of environmental economics with stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
About the role
Restoration of nature at scale and pace is a vital part of our response to the interlinked crises of climate change, biodiversity loss and declining human health. The abundance and diversity of native plants and fungi are the cornerstone of healthy and functioning ecosystems. Plantlife believes that restoration undertaken through and by, partnership with private landowners is the only model that can deliver at the scale and pace required.
The emergence of nature markets offers the potential for significant private investment in nature restoration in the UK. To deliver at scale and pace we need every nature markets mechanism to work across a broader range of habitats – particularly grasslands and temperate rainforest. We also need to build our own capability and capacity to fully engage as markets evolve.
This role will be key to developing and articulating the economic case for restoration of a broad range of habitats, prioritising grasslands and temperate rainforest. It will represent Plantlife in the debate and become a centre of excellence on this subject within the organisation

About LawWorks
What we do
LawWorks is the operating name of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group. We are a charity, and our aim is to enable access to justice through supporting and developing the contribution of legal pro bono.
With support from the Law Society of England and Wales, we encourage, facilitate and celebrate pro bono across the solicitor profession and at law schools in England and Wales.
Who we work with
We work primarily with solicitors (firms and in-house teams), and also with law schools and law students, and other legal and non-legal volunteers and organisations.
LawWorks has around 150 member organisations including some of the largest City firms and international firms with an office in London, national, regional and local firms, in-house teams, law schools and charities.
Who we are
LawWorks is a relatively small organisation with 18 members of staff (5 full-time) and a small team of volunteers and interns. We operate a flexible working policy, with several members of staff working hybrid, or where appropriate, from home.
We are a busy and (for our size) complex charity, with a friendly team, a positive ethos and a commitment to doing all we can to ensure LawWorks is a strong and efficient organisation and a great place to work.
Our projects
There are a number of key strands to our work to support and facilitate pro bono:

we support a growing network of around 300 local independent pro bono advice clinics across England and Wales. We work with lawyers, advice agencies, charities and others to establish or develop new clinics, and provide ongoing information and support, training and resources, for clinic volunteers and coordinators;

our Not-for-Profits Programme facilitates the provision of free legal advice for smaller charities and not-for-profit organisations, supported by volunteer lawyers from LawWorks’ members;
-
our Secondary Specialisation Programme supports the development of more ‘in-depth’ pro bono in areas of social welfare law. This currently includes an unpaid wages project and ‘Voices for Families’, with the charity Together for Short Lives, supporting parents and carers of children with life-limiting conditions;

we support collaborative projects including: Pro Bono Connect: a project which facilitates barristers and solicitors working together on pro bono cases; the Domestic Abuse Response Alliance and IP Pro Bono.

we have launched new online tools and digital platforms including a website called ‘Free Legal Answers’ and the Pro Bono Portal UK (with Justice Connect, an Australian access to justice charity).
In addition to encouraging and supporting pro bono delivery, we also work to address barriers to justice and to provide a ‘policy voice’ for pro bono - for example, working to address regulatory and other barriers to pro bono volunteering, and working with our members and others to influence policy on legal aid and other aspects of access to justice.
The role
Our experience in the different regions in England and Wales has shown the valueof having staff based locally to support pro bono initiatives, develop new pro bono opportunities and to increase engagement from the local legal profession.
This role will include helping to develop and support your own set of clinics, building on existing relationships in the Southwest or North of England. You will work with our members and the local advice sector to support the development of new pro bono clinics to meet unmet legal needs. We take an innovative, tailored approach to the support we provide, and you will provide one-to one support for individual clinics, allowing you to identify and address need, providing help with insurance, regulatory queries, finding volunteers and access to online tools.
A small part of the role (1 day per week) will involve working closely with the part-time Engagement & Training Officer (Wales) focusing on expanding stakeholder engagement to increase the number of independent legal advice clinics in Wales and promote pro bono involvement by the legal profession. You will work to identify and engage new stakeholders, develop training sessions and support impact monitoring. This role will also work closely with the Clinic Support and Development Officer (Wales), who acts as the first point of contact for guidance and support for clinics in Wales.
Key priorities for this role will be:

To provide guidance and support to independent pro bono clinics registered with the LawWorks Clinics Network in the Southwest or North of England;

To increase the number of individuals in Southwest or North England provided with free legal advice at clinics in the LawWorks Clinics Network by identifying opportunities for new pro bono advice clinics, supporting local stakeholders to develop new services to meet unmet legal needs in their area;

To support and grow pro bono volunteering and LawWorks’ membership (e.g., law firms and in-house legal teams);

To identify the training needs of LawWorks’ members, clinics and their volunteers in Southwest or North England, working with colleagues to arrange regional training and other events.

We are looking for a confident networker who is able to identify opportunities andestablish new partnerships. All of LawWorks’ work is delivered through partnerships so it is essential that the candidate is personable, collaborative and an effective communicator.
A background in the legal or advice sector will be an advantage, but not essential - training and support will be provided for someone from another sector who is passionate about pro bono and access to justice and willing to learn. Experience of managing multiple projects and seeing them through to completion will also be an advantage.
The role offers variety, autonomy, the opportunity to help develop new initiatives from idea to launch, and a chance to support local communities and volunteer lawyers.
The position will be predominantly home based, with some travel throughout the Southwest or North of England, and occasional travel to LawWorks’ office in central London.
Primary purpose of role

Key task areas and duties

Purpose of the post
HDR UK is seeking to appoint an experienced and hands-on Project Coordinator to deliver vital UK-wide initiatives which focus on building public trust and confidence in the use of data and statistics in research. Reporting to the Senior Partnerships Manager, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement at HDR UK and the Senior Communications and Engagement Manager at DARE UK, this new and pivotal role will work with several PEDRI and DARE UK partner organisations. The role will be key to supporting and drawing on the expertise of organisations across the data research and statistics sector in the UK to embed meaningful public engagement and involvement in data research.
PEDRI has set up its approach and delivery plan until March 2027 and needs a skilled and collaborative Project Coordinator to drive the delivery of this plan. The role holder will bring effective project coordinating tools and skills to work with and support organisations, teams and senior leaders to deliver on objectives across communications, events and stakeholder involvement and engagement. Additionally, the post holder will directly support one of PEDRI’s founding partners; DARE UK’s public involvement and engagement functions and will have a central role in working across the data research and statistics ecosystem. The post holder will draw on expertise to enable shared knowledge and good practise-based learning about involvement and engagement of patients, the public and practitioners in data science.
The successful candidate will share HDR UK’s values, have strong collaboration skills, excellent communications skills, be comfortable with supporting multiple projects at pace in a complex organisation and demonstrate a clear willingness and passion to support organisations within the Initiative to trial, develop and deliver innovative approaches to engagement.
Main responsibilities
- Organise and administer PEDRI meetings including the Governing Board, Steering Group and Public Advisory Group meetings, annual Away Days and ad-hoc working group meetings whilst ensuring agendas, meeting notes and actions are sent out in a timely manner
- Support the delivery of detailed project plan for PEDRI, reporting on progress, and highlighting key milestones and risks to key stakeholders
- Develop and maintain partnerships with PEDRI partners and facilitate the involvement of key stakeholders throughout the Initiative
- Support the Initiative Co-Leads with meeting set up, note taking and following on actions as needed.
- Co-ordinate regular reports from different working groups and prepare relevant updates for onward communication
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Act as the ‘point of contact’ for the Initiative across partner organisations ensuring they are kept updated, receive all information in a timely manner and that any issues are dealt with in a sensitive manner

- Manage the development of communications materials such as standardised presentation and communication decks
- Support the commissioning of external suppliers to support delivery of the Initiative’s communications and/or events, managing relationships and project managing delivery to time and budget.

- Manage PEDRI’s monthly bulletin, seeking updates from all partners in a timely manner to ensure the update is ready for circulation
- Manage PEDRIs social media channels with support from HDR UK’s comms colleagues, updating and posting regularly
- Work with the senior managers and partner organisations to source and apply for further funding, being clear on resource requirements
- Support finance tracking and liaise with the HDR UK Finance team
- Arrange, submit and process payments for Public Advisory Groups and public contributors involved in the work
Experience
- Experience of working with the public and supporting PPIE activities
- Experience in supporting project management with an ability to apply management principles and processes and proactively manage risk
- Demonstrable success in delivering complex programmes/ running several projects at once to similar timeframes with conflicting priorities and many collaborating organisations in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent experience of defining and documenting requirements from multiple stakeholders and facilitating collaboration across teams and/or organisations to help create and co-deliver shared goals

Tiny Lives Trust have been supporting premature and sick newborn babies and their families since their inception in 1983. Beginning as a fund for specific neonatal units, Tiny Lives became a charity in its own right in 2013 and has supported thousands of babies and their families since then. They offer practical and emotional support to families and ensure that the neonatal experience is more comfortable for all involved. They also support staff on the neonatal unit by funding training courses and providing resources and materials that can improve their department. Every year they support over 800 babies and their families from the Newcastle Neonatal Service alone.
Tiny Lives is growing and as part of their new strategy, they want to support more families. To do that need to grow income. They are looking for a Corporate Partnerships and Trusts Fundraiser to join their small but mighty team to help them continue their work championing and supporting sick and premature babies and their families.

About the role:
The Corporate Partnerships and Trusts Fundraiser will focus on bringing in income from businesses, trusts and foundations. Tiny Lives has a fantastic reputation across the Northeast and as such is working with a whole host of corporate supporters across the region. You'll work alongside the Fundraising & Engagement Manager to create compelling proposals and pitches, plan and execute engagement activities, and identify and approach new corporate prospects. You'll also develop and maintain relationships with existing corporate partners. In terms of Trusts and Foundations, you'll be building long lasting relationships with a variety of funders both existing and new.
The Tiny Lives team is extremely collaborative, as part of your role you'll get to work with a brilliant and passionate staff team.
About You:
We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with funders, both in person and on paper, through compelling copy and storytelling. Ideally, you'll have experience in fundraising, donor or account management and an understanding of the charity sector and fundraising regulations. We would also like to hear from candidates with great relationship development experience from a business development or account management background.

Citizens Advice, in partnership with Trussell, provides a freephone helpline for people who need help to obtain a food parcel from their local food bank. As part of the process, it provides information and advice on the issues that are causing financial hardship in order to move the client forward. The helpline is managed by generalist advisers from local Citizens Advice across England and Wales.
Citizens Advice Hammersmith & Fulham have been involved with the project from the start and the project received Collaboration of the Year Award (Citizens Advice National Awards 2020).
We now have the opportunity to expand our team of helpline advisers. Role:
- Establish that the client cannot afford food by carrying out a full exploration of the cause of financial hardship and give information and advice on the issue identified
- Issue foodbank voucher where appropriate and/or signpost to local services
- Write up case notes to Citizens Advice national standards
The Helpline Advisers are provided with close support from our supervisors, have access to our wealth of resources and are an integral part of the Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham team.
We have the equivalent of 7 working days available and are open to applications from candidates seeking a minimum of 2.5 days - 5 days per week. This role is well suited to hybrid working with opportunities for remote working. Advisers will also have the opportunity to be office based should they prefer. There will be a two-stage process with Test (mock client call and write up) with successful candidates progressed to interview.

How you will make a difference:
Amna is seeking a Social Media and Design Consultant on a monthly retainer contract to support our digital content strategy and enhance our online presence. Both individuals and agencies with the relevant skills and experience are welcome to apply. This role is pivotal in amplifying our mission through creative and impactful content that engages our audience and reflects our core values. The consultant will bring expertise in social media management, graphic design, and video editing to help us effectively communicate our story.
Deliverables include:
- Designing up to 20 high-quality graphical posts per month for social media, ensuring alignment with Amna’s visual identity and core values.
- Editing videos and reels for social media channels, up to 5 per month, using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Scheduling posts across social media platforms using Hootsuite, ensuring consistent and strategic content delivery.
- Uploading and managing content on Amna’s website using a web Content Management System (CMS), such as WordPress.
- Providing ad-hoc design support as needed, including infographics, reports, and digital marketing materials (2-3 per month).
- Collaborating closely with the communications team to develop and execute content strategies that raise awareness and foster engagement.
- Keeping up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance Amna’s digital presence, engaging with comments and messages.

- The consultant will be also expected to be available for 1-2 check in meetings per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and developing visual content for social media, preferably in the non-profit or social impact sector.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

Role Overview:
The Volunteer Coordinator for WeSwim is a key role responsible for recruiting and onboarding volunteers to support all our activities and events, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience for all. This role also supports the setup of new WeSwim clubs in London, raising profile in new areas and developing relationships with new stakeholders to promote the organisation. Our transmedia approach shapes the work of researchers and leading policy experts. We contribute to regional and national discourse, performing Key Change at the Houses of Parliament in 2016 contributing to the Prison Safety and Reform White Paper, Lasagna was used in evidence as part of the Ministry of Justice Family Law Inquiry 2020 which recommended a root and branch overhaul and Rupture is the result of the Parental Rights in Prison partnership with NEPACS and Durham University. In 2021 during the pandemic, our play ‘Sugar’ was commissioned for BBC iPlayer and was programmed on Way Out TV directly into 54k prison cells.
