About us
Who we are
In October 2024, we changed our name to The King's Trust.
Since 1976, we’ve achieved a great deal and we’re proud to have supported more than 1 million young people across the UK and have returned £1.4billion in value to society over the last 10 years alone as The Prince's Trust. Yet, this still represents only a small proportion of the young people who might benefit from our support and so, as The King's Trust, we remain committed to enabling even more young people to create a better future for themselves.
Many of the young people we help are disadvantaged, either in, or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health issues, or have been in trouble with the law. Our free programmes give young people the practical skills and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation so they can continue to dream big.
At The King's Trust, working with young people is at the heart of what we do, but we need a wide range of skills to achieve this.
You might want to work directly with our young people to transform their lives. Or you may have any number of other skills we need to help us achieve our goals. The King's Trust has careers in fundraising, marketing, HR, design, IT, finance, digital, and many more.
Our success depends on the work and support of our staff and our volunteers. People are the most important thing we have – they are the ones who make a difference!
With 30 days holiday allowance, excellent maternity and paternity leave, a range of well-being programmes and flexible working options for many roles, we think this is a great place to work. We're investing in our hubs to be inspiring places for young people to visit, learn and gain confidence - they are also amazing to work in.

Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Here at The King's Trust, we're committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. We want to be an organisation that's representative of the communities we serve, which is why we strive for diversity of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity and perspective. More importantly, creating an environment where everyone, from any background, can be themselves and do the best work of their lives is the right thing to do.
We’re a Stonewall Diversity Champion and we are Disability Confident employer. Our staff, volunteers and young people are supported by KT CAN (our Cultural Awareness Network), KT NOW (Network of Women), KT DAWN (Disability & Wellbeing Network) and PULSE (LGBTQIA+ Network).
