As one of the three Co-ordinators for our RNID Near You community service in South and West Wales, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering the community service across your designated area through drop-in sessions offering:
· practical hearing aid support
· information on hearing loss and tinnitus
· hearing checks
You will be responsible for co-ordinating up to 15 drop-in sessions and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 25 volunteers to deliver the service. You will have responsibility for the set up and running of these sessions and have good local knowledge of the chosen area to seek new opportunities for delivery of the RNID Near-You services.
We are looking to appoint a motivated person with a keen interest in supporting people with their hearing loss. While you will be home based, there will be regular travel to all venues where we will provide drop-in sessions in community settings.
You want to make a difference in people’s lives and love to interact with various audiences, including volunteers, health & care professionals and service users. You have experience managing events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/ weekends if required. You are able to physically assist clients with hearing aids sensitively, giving clear guidance and taking into account individual wishes and health needs.
You are ready to work for a home-working organisation and have good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word.

Supporting people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus
About the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Regional Casework Coordinator to join the Scottish Regional Office team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the regional office.
You will be responsible for providing specialist administrative support, working closely with SSAFA branch volunteers in order to ensure a consistent, timely, quality service is provided to SSAFA beneficiaries. This will include supporting the volunteer network including our highly trained caseworkers, particularly with completion of cases.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to the Scottish Regional Office. You will work closely with the Regional Casework Managers and Regional Operations Manager.
The post is home-based, but to be eligible for this role you are required to live in Scotland. You may have to travel occasionally around Scotland or elsewhere in the UK; expenses will be paid. You must have a fast, stable broadband connection in your proposed workspace.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the seventeen SSAFA branches across Scotland, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The wider support team includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as, housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector would be valuable.

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will job-share with our established 2 day-per week Marketing & Communications Manager. As a member of LMK’s core staff team, you will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our brand, marketing and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it
- Co-ownership of the execution of all marketing activities and materials, ensuring they reflect the brand and the values of the charity
- Lead the planning and execution of PR and media campaigns, leveraging media contacts, ensuring LMK has engaging media materials and our spokespeople are fully prepared to maximise media opportunities
- Be a brand guardian, responsible for the consistent use of visual identity, tone and messaging in our external materials, working with our graphic designer to support teams across LMK with branding
Communications, Content Development & Execution
- Co-ownership of the execution of all communications and content development
- Lead on the creation of engaging video content that can be used across communications platforms
- Working with the wider team, produce communications materials for supporters and key stakeholders in conjunction with the fundraising team
- Source and write up regular impact stories from across the organisation that reflect our strategic objectives which can be used in a variety of channels

Digital
- Grow and expand LMK’s social media presence onto new platforms (e.g. TikTok, SnapChat, Bluesky) whilst expanding existing presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Monitor social channels daily, checking for messages/comments
- Co-manage the website as a key marketing channel, creating engaging content, optimising for SEO, overseeing website design updates, coordinating with developers on technical aspects, and analysing website traffic

Person specification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of developing messages/content for different audiences effectively and across different platforms including social media, websites, newsletters and emails

- Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and project management skills
- Experience of using a social media management tools e.g. Buffer, Asana, Hootsuite and communications tools e.g. Mailchimp
- Experience in creating and editing video content, using Canva or an equivalent design programme

The Programme is constructed around teacher training, and the provision of narrative children’s books, lesson plans and teaching resources, which provide the concrete tools educators need to teach SEL in a low-cost and adaptable format.
The THINK EQUAL Programme has a global presence across six continents (in 30 countries) and has undergone three randomised control trials in contexts as varied as Colombia, Botswana and Australia. There is a growing demand from other countries for the THINK EQUAL Programme and the organisation is now strengthening its team to be able to respond to this demand.
Purpose of the Role
To manage the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Think Equal programmes in UK and Europe. This role has a special focus on representing Think Equal and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities, regional and national government ministries (education and health primarily), and other stakeholders, and managing a region or country team as needed. It also involves strategic planning, reporting on, budgeting and costing of programme implementation, guiding, reviewing, approving and ensuring high quality implementation including:

Leading on partnership and government relationships, training plans and the monitoring of programme implementation. The role is one of primary oversight and responsibility for the embedding of Think Equal within the early years education system in the UK and various European countries, and the sustainability of the programme, insofar as possible.

About the position
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, an international non-profit organisation tracking the human rights impacts of more than 10,000 companies worldwide, is seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Officer to join our global team.
The successful candidate will be a creative, digital native social media expert who can help to take our social media content to the next level, helping us to reach and influence our most important audiences.
They will be comfortable devising social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues around the world to grow their own social media presence.
The position will also play an important role in the success of our digital platform, which is central to everything the organisation does, both creating content and facilitating content creation by colleagues from across our global team.
This role will join the busy and collegiate central Communications Team, as well as working with project team colleagues to help most effectively communicate our research, analysis and key findings on social channels, supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground driving respect for human rights in business and fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of corporate abuse.
Key Responsibilities
Social media (approx. two thirds of role):
- Social media content: Manage the day-to-day social media comms production and planning, including planning calendars, scheduling and posting
- Asset creation: Design and create compelling social-first assets and copy for channels including LinkedIn, X and Bluesky

Essential:

Myeloma UK has an ambitious plan for income growth. We launched a new organisational strategy in 2024 and will launch our new research strategy in mid-2025. We’re making amazing progress in the research and treatment of myeloma – but we need to go further, faster. This position will play a critical role securing grants of up to £10K from trusts, foundations, and grant funders for a range of innovative and life-changing programmes – including patient and family support, research and advocacy. The role will work closely with the Senior Trusts and Grants Officer, who leads on the medium and large grants programme, and income from pharmaceutical partners.
The post holder will deliver the grant process from start-to-finish including administration, research, and managing and growing a pipeline of small trusts. This is an exciting new role to both support the coordination of existing ‘leaders in advocacy network’ and to coordinate and lead the project developing a membership body for the group to transition to. Your Role in Our Vision
The legacy giving program will be key in supporting Marie Curie's strategy to ensure everyone affected by dying, death, and bereavement has the best possible experience, focusing on:
- Building integrated, place-based end-of-life services
- Strengthening our national voice and influencing end-of-life care
- Investing in future capabilities
- Achieving financial sustainability through income growth
The Legacy team drives awareness of gifts in Wills among supporters, the public, staff, and volunteers. As part of Remember A Charity, the team also works to normalise legacy giving and expand the UK legacy market. In alignment with our role as a leading end-of-life care charity, we strive to provide accessible, high-quality Will-writing information to help supporters and service users plan for the future.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Engage with existing and potential supporters via phone, email, or in person to inspire legacy giving and secure pledges.
- Develop and execute a regional legacy strategy focusing on awareness, stewardship, and conversions while contributing to the national Legacy & In Memory strategy.
- Plan and host regional legacy events to inspire and retain supporters, working closely with internal teams to ensure success.
- Promote free Will-writing schemes to generate pledges, supporting enquirers through their legacy journey.
- Raise awareness of legacy giving and its impact across the region, ensuring all stakeholders understand its importance.
- Provide ongoing legacy training for regional staff and new fundraising team members.
- Work with the Legacy and In-Memory Marketing team to develop aligned resources for local and mass fundraising.
- Promote national legacy initiatives locally and participate in cross-team projects or working groups.
What you will need
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and charity databases
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Skilled in prioritising tasks effectively
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a remote team
- Adept at handling sensitive conversations with supporters
- Strong influencing and motivational abilities
- Confident public speaking and presentation skills
- Event planning.
- Willing to travel with some overnight stays.
- Have access to a vehicle and full driver's licence.
