Our support for women: Maternity Mates: one-to-one continuity of care support during pregnancy, labour and birth and postnatally by a trained local volunteer who may share experiences and speak up to 15 languages between them. Her Health: One to advocacy in two languages for women who have experienced gender-based violence, female genital cutting. Healing Conversations: one to one trauma counselling in five languages and baby loss peer support.
Sister Circle is looking for a Project Manager who is committed to tackling one of the most pressing challenges in women’s health today—improving equity and justice for underserved communities of women.
The Role
As our Project Manager, you will lead our Maternity Mates team and key relationships with NHS and Public Health stakeholders and local partners. You will ensure the Maternity Mates programme is integrated into the wider maternity care system, ensuring our beneficiaries receive holistic, joined-up support; improving experiences for pregnant women, often impacted by socioeconomic, linguistic, and cultural challenges.
Key Competencies
Project and Performance Management: Ability to successfully project manage a complex project within time, budget, and quality specifications while meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to identify opportunities with strategic partners, and strengthen referral and support pathways.

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.

Peer support is an essential part of South East London Mind and we have Lived Experience Support Workers (LESWs) based in the Southwark Primary Care Mental Health Teams (PCMHT), assisting in a community mental health model in Southwark with a focus on integrated care. Working alongside and complementing the mental health care provided by South London and Maudsley NHS colleagues in the Multi-Disciplinary Teams, LESWs offer a strengths-based holistic approach with empathy and understanding, providing their clients with more pathways to recovery and accessing the right interventions and support based on their individual needs. They also support clients to develop and maintain independence in their local community, promoting resilience, building life skills, and a strengthened ability to cope with challenges and play a more active role in the management and sustainability of their wellbeing.
We are currently recruiting for a Lived Experience Support Worker based at the Chaucer Resource Centre, 13 Ann Moss Way, London, SE16 2TH. The postholder will have lived experience of mental health challenges themselves and experience of supporting and/or managing a vulnerable client cohort caseload within a clinical environment.
The role will involve:
- Working alongside a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the South London and Maudsley NHS Southwark Primary Care Mental Health service, managing and providing recovery-orientated support to a diverse caseload of clients with mental health diagnoses.
- Offering clients tailored, holistic support with empathy and understanding to empower them to develop a more active role in the management of their wellbeing and resilience and a strengthened ability to cope with ongoing challenges.
- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence and confidence in their local community and social situations, building life skills, confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
- Engaging clients in peer support sessions and offering appropriate and holistic advice, information, and signposting and helping them to navigate the support that may be available to them in their local communities.

About the Role:
As the Educational Partnerships Manager, you will play a vital role in connecting with schools, colleges, and youth clubs across North East London, with a particular focus on those based in the most disadvantaged communities. This means you'll be working with schools that serve young people from areas with the greatest barriers to social mobility. Your mission will be to ensure these young people have access to life-changing opportunities, enabling them to develop vital skills, build an enterprising mindset, and prepare for a successful future.
You’ll be a key member of YE’s Educational Partnerships Regional Team, collaborating closely with the Educational Partnerships Regional Manager to drive the success of our enterprise and financial education programmes. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will engage directly with young people and teachers in schools, delivering and supporting YE’s programmes, while developing new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships.
There is a degree of manual handling and you will be required to work some evenings and weekends. Further:

Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings and ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
This post will require extensive travel across the region, and it is essential for the post holder to hold a driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

About the Role:
As the Educational Partnerships Manager, you will play a vital role in connecting with schools, colleges, and youth clubs across North East London, with a particular focus on those based in the most disadvantaged communities. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will engage directly with young people and teachers in schools, delivering and supporting YE’s programmes, while developing new relationships and strengthening existing partnerships.

About the role
The post holder will perform a dual role within the Wansbeck Restoration for Climate Change and Revitalising our Estuaries Programme (RoE) Project team. The RoE project currently aims to protect and enhance six of the estuaries in the North East.
We are looking for someone with an interest in the environment and project management, fieldwork and recording/surveying. Knowledge of the area, river estuaries or habitat creation is beneficial.
The role will carry out field work using established procedures and protocols for monitoring the interventions installed at project sites, including recording, collation and evaluation of the data. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to establish the social impact of key projects. The role will include remote working, office based meetings and on site sessions working alongside the project team and other Groundwork staff.
Essentials
- Experience of monitoring and evaluating habitat / nature based solutions
- Experience of using software packages and mapping apps such as ArcGIS and google maps
- Experience of working effectively with external parties to develop monitoring of NBS projects
- In possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
