The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is looking for an Examiner Engagement and Support Coordinator to ensure our examiners feel empowered, valued, and supported in their critical contributions to our exams.

The RCR is a professional membership body for Doctors who work in cancer care and medical imaging. Our examiners are clinical oncologists, clinical radiologists and other specialists, who work voluntarily as contributors developing exam questions, delivering assessments to candidates and shaping the future of FRCR exams. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that the clinical expertise needed to run the RCR’s exams is available via both UK and global examiners.

The postholder will have strong people skills with the ability to build good relationships, excellent communication and organisational skills will be key to your success. The post holder will be the first point of contact for potential new, and existing, examiners and will work closely with exam chairs and across all exam boards and committees, ensuring that examiners have the tools they need to deliver as an examiner alongside their clinical commitments, including alleviating any pain points. Examiner recruitment and coordinating induction and training - plus the set-up of meetings, events and panels - will form part of the workload.

As our Examiner Engagement and Support Coordinator you will deliver real value to those doctors who give up their valuable time to work with us. 

What you’ll do:

• Write and update engaging examiner recruitment materials such as terms of reference, job descriptions, scoring criteria and advertising communication.
• Actively promote examiner recruitment to UK and global audiences, including drafting text and ensuring that promotional recruitment materials are relevant and engaging.
• Build and develop mechanisms to communicate with examiners, ensuring they feel included in the work of both the exams team and the wider college.
• Support examiners with travel and accommodation bookings where necessary, in collaboration with the RCR’s appointed travel agent and the RCR’s Facilities function.
• Support committees by managing the logistical support for meetings and preparing quality agendas.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in providing administrative support and managing administrative processes, systems and procedures.
• Experience in financial administration, including the compiling of financial spreadsheets and monitoring budgets.
• Experience of committee procedures and processes, including preparing agendas and recording accurate actions.
• Experience using and maintaining a database or equivalent to store and retrieve information so that information is kept up to date and available
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

The Hospital Discharge Community Support Coordinator will match Age UK Lambeth (AUKL) volunteers and partner organisation volunteers to support a patient's discharge. Volunteers could provide support with transport, practical support such as food shopping or completing home safety checks. Upon discharge volunteers may continue supporting patients for up to 4 weeks, providing support in person (at the individual's home or in the community) and over the phone, linking them into support services and helping them access the community to prevent hospital readmission.

What you’ll be doing?

1. Oversee the development of a new, inclusive volunteer programme that offers a range of diverse and challenging volunteer roles to support patients leaving hospital and once settled home. 

2. Work in partnership with the VCS to create 100 volunteering opportunities to support hospital discharge.

3. Using the volunteer platform, Care for Me, track allocated tasks to ensure they’re completed. Monitor volunteer reports to review the support and work delivered under the project.

4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital to ensure appropriate referrals are made into the service.

About the role

The £4.5m Young Gamechangers Fund (YGF) is an exciting UK funding initiative that provides grants of up to £20,000 a year to young people transforming communities into safer, more sustainable and more inclusive places to live. Funding is provided by the Co-op Foundation, Co-op and #iwill fund, and is delivered in partnership by Restless Development, Global Fund for Children and the Co-op Foundation. In addition to funding, successful applicants also get access to peer support networks, training and mentoring. Importantly, the fund is co-design with young activists, through a Youth Steering Group. All elements of the programme are youth-led and grantee centred, with a commitment to codesign and seeking input from young people at all stages. 

Evaluation and learning is central to the fund; we aim to generate learning that will support young people, grantees, funders and delivery partners to learn and increase their impact, but also to generate evidence that can influence the wider sector. Ultimately, we are seeking to change the way youth-led funding is delivered.

The Evaluation and Learning Coordinator will work closely with the grantees to help them effectively understand and learn from the results of their work; and to generate and disseminate wider evidence and learning on the impact of the fund. The role will work closely with the Fund’s external Evaluation and Learning Partner - The Social Innovation Partnership (TSIP) - who have just finalised a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) framework for the fund. Restless Development is the delivery partner leading on the learning element of the fund.

You will also be excited by the prospect of working closely with our incredible Young Gamechangers, to help them better understand their impact.

Key responsibilities:

Support to Grantees

• Provide training and support to grantees to help them respond to quantitative and qualitative reporting requirements as set out by the MEL framework, e.g. through training on how to implement qualitative data collection tools (such as reflective diaries or more creative approaches such as video style reporting)
• Provide broader evaluation and learning support to grantees, based around the needs of their work - as part of the wider support offer alongside funding. Including the design and delivery of training, and in-person support visits.
• Support to grantees to complete other funder reporting requirements, including uploading quantitative data to match funder’s online portal.
• Focused support to a sample of grantees to help them develop Community Impact reports for their work, based on peer research (methodology to be defined from the Learning Partner)

Implementation of the Fund’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Framework

• Acting as the main point of contact for the Fund’s learning partner, and coordinating with other stakeholders (including delivery partners, funders and the Steering Group), to include coordinating feedback and review processes, e.g. for the mid-term and final evaluation reports.
• Work in partnership with the Learning Partner on the development and dissemination of any external learning products or activities, such as events, blogs or ‘Failure and Innovation One Pagers’
• Working to ensure strong youth engagement is embedded throughout all stages of the evaluation process, from design through to delivery. This will include working closely with the Steering Group.

Learning and Reporting systems

• Ensure effective processes are in place so that learning generated is used to inform the fund’s design and delivery, e.g. through a quarterly learning and review process.
• Responding to funder reporting requirements, including through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data collected through the MEL framework.
• Working with Restless Development’s Communications team to support the external dissemination of any learning from the fund, e.g. helping to finalise external products, and identifying relevant case studies to showcase the fund’s impact.

Other

• Contributing to agency wide learning, working with colleagues across the global agency to build expertise in funding and supporting youth social action
• You will occasionally be required to work on weekends and/or public holidays, for which time off in lieu will be granted

The purpose of your role

We’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our award-winning team to support delivery of our recruitment process to enable us to achieve our ambitious mission.

You will provide comprehensive administrative, candidate and project support to aid the day-to-day delivery of the Police Now Recruitment team. We’re responsible for recruiting and supporting a large pipeline of talented and diverse individuals across our three core programmes so it’s a fast-paced and varied role that involves working closely with candidates as well as our team. 

You will be dedicated to delivering an excellent candidate experience throughout our recruitment and onboarding process, as well as being the main point of contact for candidate queries via email, live chat and phone. You will be involved in a range of projects throughout the recruitment yearly cycle all focused on supporting candidates such as application screening and conducting compliance referencing and qualification checks for our offer holders. You’ll also be one of the core team members responsible for welcoming candidates to our assessment centres and facilitating the session to ensure it runs smoothly. 

Key responsibilities

• Candidate experience will be at the heart of all you do, and you will support the team with their work with candidates throughout the application journey. This will include screening candidate applications, contacting candidates for further information, and providing support throughout each stage of the process where required such as pre-assessment centre communication.
• You will be part of a team of Coordinators who maintain oversight of our busy inboxes and online live chat to respond to candidate queries. Together you will also facilitate assessment centres and support with running onboarding and attraction events. This will include organisation of events, managing booking candidates, preparing materials, delivering presentations and welcoming and being one of the main points of contact for attendees on the day, whether online or in person.
• Deliver key projects throughout the recruitment yearly cycle, including supporting with candidate onboarding checks, such as referencing and degree certificate verification, as well as monitoring progress through pre-employment checks and pre-academy learning.
• Monitoring and updating our applicant tracking system, preparing and sending candidate communications, updating templates, spotting trends and troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Key Requirements 

• Motivation and passion for the Police Now mission, values, and working within the policing sector.
• Proven administrative experience, ideally in similar high-volume candidate-driven environment and/or supporting a large team.
• A confident communicator who puts candidate experience first and is comfortable delivering presentations to small groups with the ability to build relationships virtually.

DFN Project SEARCH is delivering transformative change, supporting, and helping young people with learning disabilities and autism into the world of work. Nationally only 4.8% of people with special educational needs and disabilities gain permanent paid employment in the UK yet 70 percent of DFN Project SEARCH graduates gain jobs, 60 percent of them achieving full-time permanent roles.

You will be required to improve the quality and outcomes of existing DFN Project SEARCH programmes across a geographical area. This is with the aim of supporting the organisations to ensure that every intern has the best possible chance to gain full-time paid employment. The focus of this role is to ensure continuous improvement across all sites, relating to model fidelity and outcomes. This relates particularly to sites achieving less than 60% employment outcomes.

The Education Department manages and develops the ESU’s portfolio of education programmes. Responsibilities and Expectations 

• Support with the smooth running and delivery of ESU Education’s domestic & international programmes as needed. 

• Be the first respondent to incoming calls and emails from educators, ESU partners and the general public, providing timely and professional responses to all enquiries. 

• Manage ESU spreadsheets and data across various Excel and our CRM system to ensure clean and accurate data collection and collation. 

• As needed, support with the development and improvement of education resources 

• Liaise with the ESU’s Accounts Department regarding invoicing, delivery staff pay and expenses. 

• Maintain accurate records of all bookings, delivery staff status, schools, public feedback and other relevant information. 

• To support the delivery of workshops in schools, undertaking training to ensure delivery and teaching matches ESU standards.

• Assist the department in ad-hoc admin work as needed such as printing 

• Participate in call-rounds as part of the department’s sales and onboarding efforts 

• Co-ordinate the collection of process evaluation & impact data. 

• To work or travel over occasional evenings and weekends as directed by line manager, with time off in lieu.

• On occasion, support young people during workshops, residential programmes and competition events to ensure these key beneficiaries are supported throughout their engagement with the ESU. 

Skills and Experience

About the Role:

1.  Lead donor mapping process for Trusts and Foundations. Continuously, update this mapping document regularly based on engagement with prospective donors.
2. Lead the proposal/concept development process for T&F and MA Partner offices submissions.
3. Support the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager in managing a portfolio of institutional donor grants relationships and implement donor engagement strategies for prioritised donors (including FCDO, UN agencies, USAID, SIDA, START Network, etc.).
4. Support the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager to strengthen MEAL system globally. This includes ensuring high-quality data tracking progress, analysing data, and generating knowledge and documentation of best practices.
5. Work with Country Offices, Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance, Humanitarian and Programme units to support on disaster responses and associated appeals.
6. Support the unit in providing the development and implementing capacity development workshops for the IPD team, country offices, and partner offices either face to face or virtually.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to bachelor’s degree level.
2. Experience of successfully fundraising and dealing with institutional donors and international donors with a focus on Trusts and Foundations.
3. Experience and understanding of monitoring and evaluation of programmes; using quantitative and qualitative research data collected in support of programme development.

The Community Engagement Department enables our student community leaders to gain the knowledge, skills and connections for themselves and their student communities to thrive.  

Working with staff across the Community Engagement Department, the Training Coordinator works closely with the Training Manager to support staff to design and deliver high quality, impactful training for our 3000 student community leaders across 400+ student groups, 1000 student representatives, and our 6 full-time elected Student Officers, among other student communities. 

The Training Coordinator will support specialist staff across KCLSU to design and deliver a range of training spanning the breadth of community leadership, including but not limited to: student group management, event management, facilitation skills, volunteer management, project management, assessing impact, health & safety and safeguarding, effective representation, influencing & campaigning, community organising, protecting student rights, inclusion & accessibility, among others. 

This role forms a crucial element of the KCLSU and KCL Leadership Learning Initiative, a joint project designed to foster leadership skills among students, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds.

Job Specification

Student-facing Training 

- Lead the operational planning and delivery of our student-facing training programmes, including training our student group leaders, our elected sabbatical officers and our academic representatives, among others 
- Work with relevant staff across KCLSU to implement the KCLSU Training Strategy and share and promote best practice across the organisation 
- Work with relevant KCLSU teams to ensure consistency across student-facing training and ongoing guidance and support through the Community Development Framework and the Services Framework, and ensuring consistency with policy and compliance

Training Design & Development 
- Develop best practice guidance for training design and delivery in line with the KCLSU Training Strategy. 
- With oversight of all training content, work with the Training Manager to ensure we are utilising efficient and effective methods of delivery.

10 Windsor Walk (10WW) is a Community Interest Company established by local therapists concerned to address the provision of intensive psychological services for those most in need.

We meet the needs of local psychoanalysts, psychotherapists and the local community by providing psychotherapy treatment rooms and space for training and events related to developing psychotherapy services.
