Crawley Foyer provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16 - 25 at risk of homelessness, staffed 24 hours a day providing a safe and encouraging environment for residents. In addition, our Youth Advice Centre is located adjacent to the Foyer which enables us to offer a range of services to young people living in the Foyer and in the wider community.
The focus of the work is to engage creatively with young people to identify, map and encourage growth of their strengths and talents as they develop into a sustainable and independent adulthood. As a Supported Housing Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations, providing a high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing accommodation for young people at risk whilst leading and developing the team. In delivering the role, you will be responsible for:
-- Service Provision: Responsible for the daily operations of the service so that it meets the requirements of the service specification, and:
- reflects Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices
- identifies, maps and encourages the strengths and talents of each young person, enabling them to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives
-- Leadership and People Management: Lead and manage a team, recruiting and inducting new staff, and supporting their performance to ensure high standards of service at all times

CAFOD is seeking a Governance Manager to temporarily support our Leadership & Governance team. Key Responsibilities

Governance & Strategic Leadership
- Providing oversight of CAFOD’s Governance work & assisting in the further development and funding of CAFOD’s governance.

- Working with the relative department heads to advise the Leadership Team on the likely impact of new initiatives on CAFOD’s current strategy.

Engagement & Reporting

About the role

About the role

Main duties

You will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, producing statutory financial reports, and supporting a variety of finance projects aimed at improving processes and controls. This is a hands-on role, requiring a strong knowledge of charity accounting standards (SORP, FRS102) and advanced Excel skills.

- Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Charity Accounting Knowledge: Experience with Charity SORP and FRS102 regulations

About the role
As the new Community and Events Fundraising Manager, you will oversee the stewardship of some of their most passionate supporters, working closely with dedicated volunteers, community groups, and overseeing key charity events. - Monitor income and KPIs against agreed budgets and targets, taking action to address any shortfall.
People management:
- Provide all aspects of line management support, development and coaching to the Fundraising Assistant.
- Recruit, train, manage and inspire volunteers to deliver agreed aspects of the fundraising plan.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced fundraiser in community and events with strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of individuals.
Excellent organisational skills are a must along with being ambitious, driven and passionate about representing The Passage and supporting their mission.
