We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Risk Manager to join our Risk and Assurance team at Sovereign Network Group (SNG). You'll be an integral part of our risk function, which sets out how we manage risk in SNG and works with the whole organisation to embed that approach into our everyday activities and decision-making.
Based from our offices in Basingstoke or Wembley, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. There may be some occasional travel to our other offices for meetings or workshops.

The Role
Reporting into our Head of Risk, you'll partner with stakeholders throughout the organisation to provide expert risk management advice, support decision-making processes, and enhance SNG's ability to achieve its objectives. As Risk Manager, you'll play a crucial role in embedding a proactive risk management culture within SNG, ensuring that risks are effectively identified, assessed, and mitigated. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the approach across SNG to create a culture of consistent and high-quality risk management
- Supporting the organisation in implementing our framework for risk management roles, responsibilities and decision-making
- Supporting stakeholders to identify, assess, and manage risks across the organisation, ensuring sufficient and appropriate mitigation measures are in place
- Supporting the organisation with expert advice on risk management matters and emerging risks
- Embedding practices throughout SNG to ensure risks are reliably identified, assessed, prioritised, and managed
- Collating and analysing risk data to support the Head of Risk to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, as well as providing input into senior leadership reports
- Developing and delivering workshops and training sessions to enhance risk awareness and capabilities across the business
What we're looking for
You should have previous experience in a similar role, with demonstrable technical knowledge and skills in Risk management. A background in housing is not essential but ideally you'll have gained experience from a large organisation with a variety of risk areas to consider.
You'll also have:
- Experience in supporting the implementation of a robust risk management framework
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Clear communication skills, ensuring technical information is presented clearly and concisely
- An agile approach, confident to work successfully on multiple projects at different stages and effectively prioritise tasks
- Experience in designing and / or delivering risk management awareness and training programmes is desirable

Responsibilities and Person Specification:
The Campaigns Manager plays a key role in developing and delivering campaign activity to improve the systems that older people rely on. The role helps deliver the department influencing strategy, mobilising older people living on a low income, and those who care about them, to take action to support Independent Age’s influencing campaigns, often targeting Governments across the nations, companies, regulators and others.
You should have a passion for improving the lives of older people on a low income through influencing policy change. With a strong understanding of how policy, public affairs, media communications and campaigning interact to make positive policy change happen, you’ll bring experience of working with people with lived experience to shine a light on the need for change.

Job Purpose
As BSR’s Membership Manager you will be responsible for overseeing BSR’s membership offer. You’ll work on plans to recruit members across a range of roles in the rheumatology specialty and engagement tactics to ensure members are retained year on year.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Membership, you’ll drive forward a compelling value proposition for membership by refining our benefits package and developing tailored audience content. With responsibility for our digital-first membership engagement plans, you’ll work on strategies that drive our engagement, provide real-time feedback and give us insight into how our members behave.
You’ll lead and coach a Membership Executive to develop their skills and together, provide excellent customer service and membership experience.
Main responsibilities
Membership recruitment and retention
- Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new members
- Engage in digital outreach and in-person networking to promote BSR membership and develop a deep understanding of our audiences and the pressures they face

Philanthropy and Partnerships fundraising at Alzheimer's Research UK has grown significantly over recent years. The Directorate has a track record of soliciting seven-figure donations and winning significant corporate partnerships with well-known and well-loved brands such as Omaze, Cadbury, Warburtons, Roadchef and Dobbies.
We are now looking to build upon our success by launching a new, significant fundraising appeal. This appeal will help drive further transformational growth, from income across majors donors, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners. As Proposition Manager, you will play a critical role in the Directorate, by developing and managing the charity’s core Case for Support and a suite of compelling propositions for our key initiatives. These will be designed to inspire and engage high-value donors, including philanthropic individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.
You will collaborate closely with the Scientific Communications, Research, and Fundraising teams to translate complex research and programmatic content into clear, persuasive, and donor-centric propositions. Your work will ensure that the High-Value Directorate is equipped with impactful materials that effectively articulate the charity’s need, vision, and funding priorities.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Proposition Development & Management:

About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of defining and evaluating impact, working across the organisation and the wider Network, leading on producing insights to feed back into the Network, informing operational decision making and driving fundraising and marketing activity.
Your work will seek to maximise significant investment in systems and customised Salesforce CRM, using data to demonstrate the impact of the charity and the Network in improving outcomes for young people. Your role will be to establish, embed and maintain a data culture across the Network, helping lead the way as a data-driven organisation.
During the first 12 months, you will manage either a fixed term post or temporary consultancy resource providing data analysis. This will be specifically focused on supporting the Network’s young people’s engagement strategy, tracking impact of new engagement initiatives trialled and helping identify indicators for success.

About You
You will have experience in using data and insights to facilitate decision making, using analyses to drive improvements and of working with impact data and communicating outcomes, including handling large datasets. You will have experience of mentoring/coaching or supporting others to build capability.
With a good understanding of qualitative and quantitative monitoring and evaluation methods and analysis, you will have highly developed data presentation and visualisation skills. Knowledge of Salesforce Analytics would be a bonus.

This is a key role within the Engagement Directorate at Blind Veterans UK as we are working through a new strategy which ensures we become data and insight led and put our audiences at the centre of all our communication. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of complex database extracts from Raiser’s Edge using FastStats, ensuring all data selections are delivered to a high standard for communications to Blind Veteran UK supporters. This includes ensuring data selections are scheduled, developed, tested and checked, and delivered in accordance with the agreed brief and deadlines. The critical element to this role is developing a campaign planning process that embeds a test and learn culture and drives innovation and improvement in our communications.
You will work with the Insight Manager and wider Engagement (fundraising and Comms & Marketing) Team to implement journeys and automations to improve second gift rates and drive sustainable income.
As well as leading on data selections, you will manage the insight planning and request project boards, working with the Insight Manager to respond to both ad-hoc insight requests and longer term insight projects.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role - what you'll be doing:
- Lead on data selections. Responsible for ensuring all data selections are produced in an accurate, consistent and timely fashion, in accordance with agreed data selection briefs and deadlines.
- Manage the scheduling of delivering data selections to ensure there is clarity on what data selections are upcoming, to manage any potential clashes and to plan and prioritise the workload.

- Ability to analyse data to evaluate campaign performance and inform decision-making.
