We're looking for 5 kind, compassionate and resilient Support Workers to join our Heany Cluster service in Kensington and Chelsea.

£24,856.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week. Benefits include 25 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

There are 5 hostels in the cluster ranging from high, medium to low support which are all based in the borough of RBKC. The

Heaney Cluster an intensively supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the borough. The majority of the customers come with a history of entrenched rough sleeping; often coupled with enduring mental health difficulties. The aim is to offer a home to those who would have difficulty finding accommodation because of their lifestyle choices involving extreme drug and alcohol misuse. The high support hostel caters for eleven service users with complex needs and is staffed 24 hours a day with the minimum of three staff on duty. The medium support services are staffed from 9am to 9pm where the customers present with varying degrees of mental health issues. The Assessment Centre is staffed 24/7.

The hostels are in close proximity to each other, and staff will be expected to work across the units. Three of the hostels supports both male and female customers and one is males only.
Heaney Hub implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, particularly those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.

Support Workers will devise person centred support plans with customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their needs and goals. This will include sign posting them to the local drug and alcohol services to address substance misuse issues. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

RBKC MH Night Support Workers enable people with mental health support needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
You will be working 2 shifts of 10 hours per week on a rolling rota. You will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays.

An opportunity has arisen for a lead Support worker to work within our Sanctuary crisis intervention and prevention service, based in Fore Street in Enfield. We act as a short-term A&E and Emergency services alternative, providing support to individuals in the Enfield Borough aged 18+. 

This role is to provide leadership and support to the Sanctuary team on shift. The role will:

• Lead shifts during the week, providing support to team members via case management support, escalation, Health and Safety guidance
• Support the Sanctuary Manager to embed processes within the service, and ensure that these are carried out
• Work alongside the Manager and team to ensure that the service is operating to high quality standard.
• Provide support in times of emotional distress for clients. The support worker will provide a calm, supportive presence.

 The role will support clients through co-producing support plans with practical and therapeutic support offerings, as well as contributing to the development of a warm welcoming environment and ‘safe space’ to be.

This position would suit someone with a minimum of 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. Ideally experience of supporting people experiencing suicidal ideation. Should have previous experience of supervising or managing staff.

The Sanctuary Service runs Monday - Friday, 5pm-10pm and at weekdays, 12-5pm. We would require the successful applicant to be able to work 4 shifts (21 hours per week) covering these days/times.

I am seeking an experienced HR generalist to work as an Interim HR Adviser with a charity based in the City of London, for a period of 3 months from September to November. This role pays £40,000 per year on a salaried fixed term basis and can be carried out over 4 or 5 days per week on a hybrid working basis with 1 to 2 days per week in the office and the remainder working remotely.

About you:

• Registered with the HCPC you will hold a doctorate in Educational Psychology.
• Be able to demonstrate significant post qualification experience supporting children and young people in education settings.
• Have significant experience of undertaking cognitive and psychological assessments, developing formulations and providing recommendations and support plans.
• Be able to deliver training to raise understanding and ability to support children and young people and raise quality of life.
• Be able to demonstrate significant experience in supporting/providing clinical supervision and ability for reflective practice.

What we’re looking for in our Community Fundraising Volunteer Team Leader:

We are looking for a part-time Recovery Worker on Tuesdays - Thursdays, (09.00 - 16.30: 21 hours per week). This is a fixed term contract for one year.

Every year, Restore works with over 500 people across Oxfordshire, supporting them on their mental health recovery journey including helping them plan for the future.

The Garden Cafe in Manzil Way is one of Restore’s recovery groups, working with people who have experienced challenges in their mental health to progress their recovery and achieve their goals. By contributing to the running of a working cafe the members build confidence, resilience and work skills, helping them back into work, volunteering and greater social involvement in their communities.

Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding Officer 

Macclesfield 

£31,000 per annum 

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (permanent)

They are pleased to announce a brand new role of Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding Officer based within their Community Support and Enforcement Team. 

You will act as the first point of contact for staff, providing support with safeguarding customers, domestic abuse concerns, carrying out investigations and triaging and managing a caseload. You will also act as a representative for the Trust at internal and external meetings and ensure lessons learnt are implemented. The role will also have a focus on early intervention remedies, multi- agency working and risk assessing.

To succeed you’ll have experience of proactively managing domestic abuse and safeguarding casework alongside multi-agency relationship building and problem solving. You will also have a good knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice with the resilience to deal with challenging situations and deliver sustainable outcomes.
