Who we are

Transparency International UK challenges corruption and fights for a fair society based on the rule of law. We work to change and strengthen the system so that those with power cannot abuse it for private gain, and democracy and justice cannot be undermined by corruption. As the UK chapter of Transparency International, we stand together with colleagues in over 100 countries to demand an end to corruption at home and abroad.

Transparency International UK hosts two global programmes in London.

1. The Defence and Security Programme:

• conducts research on defence and security corruption
• supports defence and security reform in countries
• influences policy
• helps the defence industry raise its standards

2. Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare Programme:

• engage pharmaceutical and healthcare companies who wish to work with us
• working towards reducing corruption and promoting transparency, integrity and accountablility
