About us
Who we are
Restored has a mission to speak up about violence against women and girls, to equip the Church to stand against domestic abuse and to support survivors.
We host an online community for survivors of domestic abuse, where more than 740 women have found love and support through peer support groups, an email helpline, recovery courses, a weekly devotional time and a wealth of resources.
In 2022 we launched the Restored Beacon Network: churches committed to shining a light into the darkness of domestic abuse. Restored Beacon churches actively stand against abuse, providing a safe refuge for survivors and walking with them on their journey to recovery, helping them to see themselves the way God sees them.
Our culture and values
Restored has a vision of a world where women live free from the fear of violence.
In all our work, we seek to embody these values:
We follow where Jesus leads: seeking justice, walking humbly and showing compassion.
We nurture safe community: bringing people together to learn, grow and share stories.
We have courageous hope: believing every story can change
We challenge and change culture: working relentlessly to see equality.
These values guide everything we do at Restored. They’re inspired by our Christian faith, a desire to see survivors welcomed and included, and a passion to see change in the Church and our wider culture when it comes to violence against women and girls.
