The role of Supporter Care Officer is a key post in the organisation working to maximise CLAPA’s income from the community. It’s a very exciting time to join the CLAPA team, we have an ambitious Income Generation Strategy in place to increase our income diversity. This role will play an active part in this strategy by providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our donors, community fundraisers and event participants.
You will be responsible for delivering and supporting outstanding customer service to supporters, so that their experience of CLAPA is second to none, leaving them feeling valued and committed to on-going support. You will act as the first point of contact for our supporters when they contact CLAPA by phone, email or in person, with all manner of queries. With excellent communication skills and good attention to detail, you will be self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking and prioritising.

Main function of job
This is a key role in the Bereavement Support Service. The team provides a wide range of services, including the Helpline, online enquiries, online community, Family Days, and online and printed resources.

Ensure any messages on Bereavement Support FB Groups are monitored and advice is given via befrienders where appropriate
To arrange face to face events for bereaved families including family days, York Carol Service and memorial events to an agreed programme.
Work with the Engagement Team around social media bereavement support posts.
2. Respond to all enquiries regarding the Care of the Next Infant (CONI) programme.
Respond to CONI enquiries from families and professionals and pass referrals to the CONI team in a timely way.
Update the CONI spreadsheet on enquiries progress and outcome.
Ensure families are offered Bereavement Support
3 Manage the Befriender programme with the Head of Support and Information and deliver training to befrienders and support befrienders in their role.
Support Befrienders in their work by maintaining regular contact and support, offering advice and guidance when required.
Keep Befriender records up to date
Allocate Befrienders when required, ensuring there is an even spread of work between the befrienders
To collate, finalise and send out the Befriender newsletter on a monthly basis in conjunction with other members of the Team
Plan and deliver befriender training to new and existing befrienders
Support befrienders in their role and deliver regular online catch up sessions.
Help with the organisation, administration of the Befriender Conference and other events, facialitaing sessions and presentations.
Support the administration and preparation of Befriender Training, attend and participate when required and assist with the new befriender digital documents.
5 Ensure the bereavement support services are promoted to bereaved families and professionals working with bereaved families
Assist with the facilitation of Bereaved Families’ Panel and running online sessions.
Keep up to date with the bereavement support world including joining National Bereavement Alliance, Child Bereavement Network and research around grief and bereavement.
Attend events as required to represent the Lullaby Trust’s bereavement support services
6 Ensure the records and services of the department are kept up to date
Ensure bereaved contacts are added and updated on Excel and Raiser’s Edge
Maintain ongoing knowledge and training on the Lullaby Trust’s advice and the scientific knowledge behind this advice
Collate statistics, as required on areas of work within the support services team.
Assist with the services’ evaluation and impact processes including self-evaluation feedback.
Provide other administrative support to the team as required.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become the first Administration Officer for the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland. About the position
This position is ideal for an experienced grant writer who is interested in being a member of our growing and dynamic Development Team (4.5 FTE) that raises about £5 million annually to support the Resource Centre’s work with partners and allies across the world. You will work closely with an experienced team of fundraising and MEAL specialists, based on five continents, to ensure the highest quality products for our private and public funder audiences (foundations, multilateral and government agencies, and individuals in all regions.) The successful candidate will also work with Global Team members to support efforts to grow our funding base from private foundations across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
WRITING
- Build strong working relationships with teams across the organisation to gather information and collaboratively shape donor materials, including but not limited to: Executive Director’s updates, letters of inquiry, case for support, formal applications, funding reports, individual appeals, and Annual Impact Report.
- Develop, edit, and submit high-quality written and digital applications that clearly articulate BHRRC's mission, vision and impact (and/or that of BHRRC’s specific priority programmes) to foundations, and relevant government agencies, building a compelling case for funders to support BHRRC.
- Demonstrate appetite for learning BHRRC’s core advocacy objectives and approaches, and their evolution, in order to be able to contribute substantively to proposal development.
- Lead the generation of funding reports, in partnership with Development Team members and international and regional programme teams, to ensure funder requirements are met.
- Use our CRM database (Salesforce) to manage calendar for grant submissions, renewals, and reporting to ensure Development Team is on track and deadlines are met.
- Track and report on the success of funding applications, providing regular updates to the Senior Management Team.
RESEARCH & FUNDRAISING
- Research, identify, and evaluate new funding opportunities throughout the EU and analyse funding requirements, eligibility, and fit with BHRRC’s mission and strategic goals. Present recommendations for approaching strong prospects to the Senior Management Team.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of European funding prospects/opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Director/Director of Development and the Europe Development Manager to design and implement a strategic fundraising plan for the EU, focused on expanding institutional support for BHRRC.
- Build and maintain relationships with select EU funders, ensuring proper stewardship and communication.
- Monitor trends in European philanthropy that may influence BHRRC’s approach to institutional fundraising, and keep informed of emerging opportunities.
ORGANISATIONAL
- Work with Development and Communications Teams to ensure all organisational documents used for fundraising are updated. Suggest and create new materials.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a shared system of information management for programmes and organisational data used in funding reports.
- Participate in the development of BHRRC’s fundraising strategies, and organisational policies and guidelines related to fundraising.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through a collaborative goal-setting process, which provides opportunities for both reflection and forward planning.
Essential skills and experience
- 3+ years of foundation/government fundraising experience, with an emphasis on grant writing.
- Exceptional writing skills and demonstrated ability to develop original proposals, reports, and other donor correspondence. Strong ability to express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications.
- Able to work efficiently and methodically to support achievement of deliverables; strong prioritization skills; self-motivated and organised; and comfortable working independently within agreed framework while maintaining communication with a global team in different time zones and geographies.
- Experience collaborating with culturally diverse teams with the ability to effectively lead and manage projects as well as harness team creativity.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to identify appropriate grant sources.

You will:
· Spot and jump on media opportunities: Monitor news and trends, draft timely and impactful responses to the big issues affecting parents and maternity services in collaboration with NCT’s subject experts.
· Creative storytelling: Source inspiring stories from parents, volunteers and practitioners and showcase how our services empower and support people through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
· Lead on PR campaigns to drive awareness of our charity’s work: Develop communication plans to grow awareness of NCT’s support, services, and campaigns, leading on the consumer PR for charity fundraising moments, such as NCT’s Winter Appeal, and in line with our For Every Parent strategy.

As Senior Media and Communications Officer, you will be a part of NCT’s Communications and Campaigns team, which brings together NCT’s campaigning, policy, media, parent and pregnancy information as well as our internal engagement team. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
-Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for all volunteers and ensure recruitment and processes comply with the charity’s values & EDI requirements
-Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
-Support and recruit volunteer community leaders; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders, and longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.

Job Purpose
As the Growth & Connection Coordinator you will lead the coordination of our flagship weekend event, a contemporary Rites of Passage Adventure (ROPA) for teenage boys. You will also support our local groups in delivering mentoring circles, day intensives and activity sessions. This role includes administrative, communication, and outreach responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and effective engagement with young people, parents and carers, mentors, youth services, and other stakeholders.
One of our biggest challenges is recruiting teenage boys to our programmes. While we don’t expect all candidates to have experience in recruiting young people to youth programmes, we do expect you to feel confident and proactive about tackling this challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely and with and reporting directly to our CEO, your responsibilities will be to:

Lead the coordination of ROPA and support local groups, ensuring logistics and planning are effectively managed while maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation.

Develop proactive strategies for the recruitment of teenage boys, building on what we’ve learnt, and delivering on those strategies.

Liaising with parents, carers, youth services as well as young people.

Coordinate mentor support processes, including the recruitment and onboarding of new mentors and completing safeguarding procedures such as DBS checks.

Person Specification
This role is both strategic and hands-on, suited for someone with a proactive and resourceful attitude while maintaining a thoughtful and empathetic approach to working with people. Although we anticipate that this role would be suited to someone with experience working with young people, in the youth sector or in the charity and voluntary sector, we are looking for the right person and are open to applications from everyone.

This part-time role (3 days a week) requires an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail who is used to co-ordinating effective, creative marketing campaigns.

Since 2009, we’ve brought over 640 orchards into the heart of urban communities, specifically in areas of high deprivation where there is limited access to nature. We also train local people in the skills needed to care for those orchards, ensuring they remain viable for generations to come.
Key activity responsibilities of this role
Communications & Marketing (estimated to be 60%)
- Create engaging content for social media, our website, and other channels, working with the Communications Manager
- Work with the team to help broaden the diversity of our audience and engage new supporters
- Write a bi-annual supporter newsletter via Mailchimp, and assist project managers to create regional newsletters

We need an Administrator to join our small, but dynamic team. You will have fun and learn many new skills as we work together. You will generally work from home, but as you will need to visit our office in Dorking, Surrey, once or twice a week, you will need to live within a reasonable distance. This is a key position with the responsibility of running the office, working with volunteers, supporting our Founder/Chairman, CEO and Deputy CEO, and ensuring our donors are kept up to date with all we are doing to help children so far away. Kids for Kids is the only charity founded specifically to help children in one of the most challenging regions of the world, Darfur, Sudan. What we are looking for
This is a key position as it will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth-running of the charity, enabling us to support even more children and their families. You will be the righthand person for our Founder/Chairman, CEO, and Deputy CEO. You will be in touch with supporters across the world. You will assist with drafting documents and correspondence with our supporters. You will be responsible for data entry and help us to migrate to a CRM system in the coming months. Event planning and coordinating with the rest of the team will be part of your brief, as will organising talks across the country to help raise awareness of our unique sustainable projects. You will be experienced with spreadsheets and with mailings, including the use of Reports from our current Access database. 2
Your efficiency in keeping accurate records and communicating effectively with our supporters will contribute directly to the extent in which we can help in Darfur. The administrative team is small, so your position is hugely important. You must have a keen eye for detail and love administrative tasks. Accuracy is essential. Because we all work from our own homes it is important that you are a good communicator, sharing our team spirit and ethos.
