Interested in managing the CRM database of an International Development Charity? You will help deliver continuous improvement to the CRM system and data quality within it. The Role
We have recently launched our new CRM based on Microsoft Dynamics 365, and are looking for a CRM Manager to join an end user Charity in Central London. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.
Key Functional Areas
- Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.
- Systems Governance - Ensuring system best practices are followed, producing dashboards to identify common errors to follow up with users offering tailored training for common issues.
- Training and Support - training of new members, ongoing training and refreshing areas where common issues are found in regular training sessions all staff and portal users can attend.
- Information Governance and Data Protection - Ensuring data is kept up to date and added in the correct formats and standards. Leading on data compliance and legalisation for the charity

Key skills & experience we are looking for
- 3 years’ CRM experience with at least 2+ years experience with administering Dynamics CRM/365/2016.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in systems and requirements analysis/Systems documentation.
- Managing issues and maintaining issue management systems.
- Microsoft Office 365 automation, including Microsoft Flow.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

We are looking for an experienced leader with key skills in line management, bid-writing and safeguarding, preferably with a qualification in social work. About the Role
As Data & Digital Operations Manager at Smart Works, you will play a pivotal role in managing the charity’s digital infrastructure and working as part of a team to ensure that the organisation is able to measure its impact, and that digital operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee IT systems, digital platforms, and cybersecurity measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation, and playing a crucial role in Smart Works’ next steps in digitising our service.

You will take a leading role in managing the digital infrastructure associated with the client service, including overseeing contracts with external providers, and making amendments to Dynamics CRM. You will be responsible for actioning local centre queries and change requests to maintain consistent, high-quality digital operations.
In addition, you will work closely with the Head of Data & Impact on ad hoc data and analysis requests across functions, helping to inform strategic decision-making across all Smart Works centres, as well as to ensure the organisation remains fully compliant with GDPR regulations, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining robust data protection practices.

Overall Purpose

To lead on the accurate recording, management, and accessibility of data gathered through the Foundations programmes and initiatives via our Salesforce CRM system and future platforms, including potential Social Value and Social Return on Investment models.
Support the grants team in recording and maintaining accurate data, ensuring records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant. Conduct routine system checks and regular data cleansing as required.
Support monitoring received from grantees, helping extract key data and learning, checked by Head of Impact.
Provide support to Head of Impact with Salesforce CRM training to internal teams to enhance data usage and impact measurement.
Performance Management
Collect, analyse, and present relevant data on a quarterly basis to support donor reporting.
Produce data driven reports aligned with the Donor Care Plan, ensuring accuracy in evaluation, impact measurement, and End of Grant reporting (quality checked by Head of Impact).
Develop and submit annual data reports for platforms such as 360 Giving, FREA (Funders for Race Equalities Alliance), IVAR and other partnership platforms aligned to BLCF work including UK Community Foundation Quality Assurance.
Provide insights and key learnings that demonstrate the effectiveness of grantmaking, inform strategic decisions, and highlight return on investment.
Relationship Management
Regularly connect and engage with wider Community Foundation network to ensure BLCF’s data systems remain fit for purpose and aligned with sector best practices.
Participate in cross-foundation learning initiatives to stay updated on trends in data-driven grantmaking and impact measurement.
Work with the Head of Business Development to provide insights from donor trends and grant impact data, supporting fundraising and partnership strategies.
Representing the Organisation
Maintain a strong understanding of community and charity sector issues to inform BLCF’s data strategy and grantmaking approach. Ensure relevant insights are shared across the team.
Develop and maintain an appropriate network of contacts within the grantmaking sector across BLCF’s geographic reach.
Serve as a BLCF ambassador, promoting the Foundations values and impact through data storytelling and sector engagement.
Be an ambassador for the work of the Foundation by demonstrating its values in the delivery of its work.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Some demonstrable experience in managing data systems and CRMs to ensure accurate data is recorded and record maintain for reporting purposes.

In support of this mission, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Systems and Data Analyst. Crucial to our work is having timely access to accurate data and intelligible information, particularly in regard to the volumes of Fairtrade certified commodities that are being sold in different Fairtrade products. In this role you will own the Fairtrade Foundation’s SQL databases and a suite of data management and reporting tools. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation, you will maintain, enhance and add to these systems, to deliver timely, accurate and relevant insights.
Supporting and supported by a Senior Data and Insights Lead and a Data Quality Manager, the ideal candidate will embrace collaboration, proactivity and continuous service improvement. They will be skilled in translating business needs into digital solutions and then communicating those solutions to their non-technical colleagues.
