About Beyond the Streets
A wonderful opportunity exists to join the energetic, friendly, and talented Beyond the Streets staff team, dedicated to achieving the aim of living in a UK where women aren’t compelled to sell sex; free from coercion, violence, poverty, and other abuses. We also work towards the aim of ensuring that those that are involved in selling sex can access effective services without experiencing barriers such as stigma, a lack of understanding, and judgemental attitudes.

Support is prioritised for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds aged between eleven years and twenty-five years, and on evidence-based charity programs that enable young people to succeed in education and have the chance of securing meaningful employment.
The Sir Peter Rigby Charitable Trust is Sir Peter’s newly established personal charity. The strategy for the Trust is in development, with current support focussed on partnerships with two leading UK universities.
The Executive Director oversees both The Rigby Foundation and The Sir Peter Rigby Charitable Trust, and is now looking to create a small dynamic team to include a Partnerships Manager and Administrator. The Team will work closely together to ensure that Rigby Foundation funded programs enable the best possible outcomes for young people in the West Midlands, and that The Sir Peter Rigby Charitable Trust facilitates Sir Peter’s giving strategy once this is confirmed.
Prospectus is delighted to be working with the Rigby Foundation to recruit an Administrator to join this small and growing team.
The role:
This important role will be responsible for supporting administrative systems across both charities, working closely with the Executive Director on the following activities:
- Ensuring all requisite policies and procedures are in place for both charities
- Preparing Board papers and facilitating Trustee meetings
- Assisting with annual statutory reporting and audit processes
- Working with the ED to produce annual budgets
- Administering and processing all donation payments
- Responding to all internal and external requests for information
- Supporting staff matched fundraising
- Supporting Rigby Group staff involvement in Foundation and Trust activities
- Offering broader administrative support to the Executive Director.
The role requires substantial experience of governance, Trustee support, financial admin, managing diaries, meetings and travel as well as offering broader admin support wherever needed.
The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of providing broad administrative support to an organisation ideally in the charity, grant-making or education sector. Helpful, organised and resourceful, this person will be able to juggle multiple tasks, to prioritise effectively and to plan ahead to meet deadlines. A great communicator, this person will also be a real team player, proficient in all MS Office packages including Excel and Powerpoint with solid experience of having worked as a PA or similar type of role.
More broadly, this person will be enthusiastic and committed to the valuable work of both charities.
In this role you will connect people, ideas and resources to empower the community of Roehampton to thrive. Every day will be a chance to listen, to understand and to make a difference where it matters most as Roehampton is a place where there is a great need to build the ability, knowledge and potential of our community. This work will aid people in the community to collaborate in tackling inequalities which are deep and entrenched. You will be a confident self-starter who is unafraid of taking the initiative but understands the importance of democratic processes, openness and accountability.
We are seeking an energetic, empathetic and resourceful community lead who has the skills, experience and tenacity to engage widely and support effectively. You will be our person on the ground - getting to know residents and organisations, making things happen, not just with the existing community groups and leaders in the Roehampton area, but also forging new connections with residents, activists and across the wider community and voluntary sector.
Your day-to-day work will be varied and we expect this to include tasks such as:
-
supporting local community organisations on a one-to-one basis, as well as creating and delivering high quality resources and support for them
-
delivering meaningful engagement with residents, empowering them to develop their own networks and co-design projects and programmes which support them effectively
-
managing a local grants programme which pilots and develops effective responses to community needs
-
co-producing and developing our Community Weeks programme as a platform for community support and engagement
-
gathering feedback and carrying out evaluation of our projects and of those we fund.

For nearly 25 years, Ashden has partnered with enterprises and organisations in the UK and Global South to scale solutions to the climate crisis. We help bring clean energy to farms, villages, and refugee camps, while also driving greener schools, warmer homes, and climate action in UK towns and cities. By shining a spotlight on innovators and connecting them with partners, funders and policymakers, we inspire change, support green jobs, and work toward healthier, fairer societies.
Ashden is a well-regarded and well-connected organisation with a strong track record of building meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals across philanthropy, finance and business. However we must aim higher to tackle the climate emergency. To accelerate our efforts, we're recruiting a new leader for Major Donor fundraising to help reinvigorate and scale our fundraising success in this area.
This pivotal role will lead our Changemakers campaign, securing mission-aligned donations of five figures and more from high net worth individuals. You will also collaborate with the Director of Business Development to secure six- and seven-figure gifts to drive transformational solutions to the climate crisis.
We’re seeking an experienced fundraiser with a track record of securing major gifts and building strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals. While climate or environmental exposure is not essential, alignment with Ashden's values and passion for driving systems change is crucial. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team, including senior leadership and the Chair of Trustees, and will have key strategic and operational input into the success of our fundraising, the growth of the team, and the broader impact of our charity.

The charity is 9 years old, and initially started its work in Blackpool, the community facing the highest multiple deprivation in the country, before starting to scale. After slow and steady growth in our early years, a combination of our reputation, growing evidence, and the increased demand for place based change has seen our rate of growth rising in recent years. We are taking a “quality first” approach to scaling our delivery work, as we cannot let down any of our communities through scaling beyond our capability.
In order to support the increasing level of demand for our work, over the next five years, the fundraising team will embark on an ambitious growth strategy – as we look to grow our income £8 million this year to £20 million by 2029, increasing the breadth, depth and number of communities that we serve.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in designing, developing and leading the delivery of our fundraising strategy to ensure that children and young people have the best start in life. They will be responsible for a broad range of income streams with a particular focus on growth across high net worth individuals, individual giving, corporate and digital whilst continuing to effectively maintain and build upon our strong funder base in trusts, foundations, philanthropy and statutory support. They will also directly oversee the wider fundraising team which currently includes the fundraising manager and fundraising officer roles.
