Who we are
Promoting and celebrating community connections through:
- a volunteer run quarterly magazine which is the voice of local residents
- an information sharing network and monthly networking meetings
- Roehampton Community Weeks – a programme of free activities developed by and for local people
- developing our communications so that everyone can find out what’s going in Roehampton
Building on the strengths of our community and tailoring support to:
- mentor and coach local people and organisations who want to be run projects to benefit their local community
- develop 1:1 and group support around project planning, governance, funding etc.
- Invest funding into local people and group to test out ideas for local projects to meet community needs
Speaking up for Roehampton through:
- active participation in forums and groups where we can influence and lobby for support for local residents and community groups
- supporting local people and groups to influence statutory services
- identifying gaps in activities and service provision abd influencing and/or initiating solutions to meet these gaps.
Our culture and values
Our Roehampton is committed to creating positive, lasting change in Roehampton by building social capital for all and on the good things that are already happening here.
We want Roehampton to be an active, connected, thriving community and a good place to live and work – through action rather than talking.
We are focused on collaborating with people in the community to tackle the inequalities many face.
