As a Digital Creative at Forward Action, you'll be at the forefront of creating compelling, action-oriented work that drives real-world change. You’ll bring your expertise in copywriting, content creation, creative strategy, and delivery to life as part of a nimble three-person project team, working alongside a Digital Strategy Manager (DSM) and Digital Strategist (DS). 

Together, you’ll cover everything needed to deliver high-impact projects that inspire action, renew and grow partnerships, and make a difference for the causes we support, including established non-profits like Oxfam and Greenpeace, and evolving organising like BiteBack 2030 and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. 

As the creative lead in your team, it’s your role to ensure that our work consistently shines - whether you’re leading on creative yourself or guiding teammates to deliver to the highest standard. You’ll also play a key part in shaping how our creative approach evolves, harnessing the potential of new channels and trends while ensuring every piece of work is rooted in strategy and designed to deliver results for our partners.

What You’ll Do

Creative Strategy

• Collaborate with the Head of Creative to shape creative strategies that meet partner goals - whether that’s designing a high-converting engagement journey, framing Facebook ads, or mapping out a storytelling email campaign.
• Lead internal brainstorms to unlock the creative potential from your colleagues and develop innovative concepts for everything from lead generation tools to email appeals, always putting our partners’ goals and audiences at the heart.

Creative Development

• Working with DSMs and the Head of Creative to design and co-facilitate creative workshops with partners, using Mural and other tools to spark innovative ideas, while you turn those ideas into impactful creative that drives change.

Copywriting

• Craft clear, compelling copy that mobilises supporters across channels - emails, ads, engagement tools, handraisers, and more. Your words will drive action and deliver results.
• Manage partner feedback with ease, ensuring edits improve the final product while staying true to our data-backed best practices.

Content creation

• Deliver visually engaging static and video ads using tools like Canva.
• Experiment with developing new content types to meet new trends and technologies.

AI Prompt Engineering

• Use effective AI prompting and programmes to streamline creative processes, save time, and enhance outputs. 

Ads Setup & Management

• Build and manage ads (primarily in Meta), ensuring targeting strategies are effective and always optimised for impact.

Builds & Page Setups

• Set up and quality-check landing pages in platforms like Engaging Networks, Impact Stack, and Blueprint (Forward Action’s proprietary platform), coordinating with Forward Action  and partner tech teams on more complex builds to ensure seamless launches.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Analyse data from sources like Google Analytics and Engaging Networks, using insights to refine and optimise creative approaches. Your recommendations will help partners achieve bigger and bolder results.

Co-owner Contributions

• Bring your creativity and insights to all-team meetings, actively supporting our collaborative culture and ensuring everyone’s voice is heard.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years’ experience of writing and creating action-orientated digital content for campaigning or fundraising.
• A proven track record of writing content that drives action and achieves campaign goals.
• Understanding of email and social ads best practice, with experience of applying it to deliver results. 
• Expertise in social media ads, email strategy, and creating engaging content that mobilises people.
• A creative thinker with the ability to come up with new and engaging ideas that have cut-through.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle priorities and manage feedback in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple deadlines.
• Passion for using digital tools to build a fairer, more progressive society.
• Enthusiasm for digital channels for communications, following trends and identifying how innovations can be harnessed to achieve social progress.
• Nice-to-Have Experience

• Familiarity with the charity sector or digital mobilisation.
• Experience with platforms like Engaging Networks, and building or managing paid social campaigns.

Starting salary: £30,502 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£34,162 (inside London) Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.

Contract Term: This is a permanent, full time contract.

Hours: We work a 30-hour 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday. Please note - as this is a full time role, you are not permitted to undertake any additional regular paid work on the Friday. 

Location: You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK or use our office in London Fields, East London. You will need to be able to come to London once or twice a month for in-person meetings, otherwise most of our meetings are held via video conferencing and all our workflow is built to be remote-first.

Global Fund for Children is looking for a Development Officer to join our global Strategic Partnerships Team in an exciting new UK-based role. Your main responsibility will be to help steward our active relationships with donors and supporters around the world, manage delivery of key grant outputs, and build relationships with philanthropic funders and foundations.

 This role will require engagement with our global staff team, alongside senior leadership and key stakeholders, and our expansive network of community partners around the world. You’ll help to develop strategies that build our relationships with key donors, ensuring all our reporting output is of a consistently high quality. This role will have a truly global reach with a primary focus on supporting programming and donor relationships for our work in the UK, Europe and Africa.

 You will be just one part of a growing and extremely ambitious and successful Development, Marketing and Communications (DMC) team based in the UK, US, and around the world.  What will you be doing?

• Manage the global calendar of donor deliverables for the Development team

• Consistently create and deliver compelling reports and other donor deliverables, according to our grant agreements, including collecting data, writing content, reviewing financial information, and ensuring compliance details.

• Work collaboratively across the Development team, engaging with key stakeholders, to deliver on strategic goals and KPIs.

• Liaise with Program and Finance colleagues to share grant requirements and reporting expectations, build reports and deliver high -quality stewardship items. 

• Work alongside the team to keep an accurate record of donor relationships in Salesforce, including stakeholder information, notes from meetings, reporting and submission deadlines, and correspondence with donor staff 

• Build and develop new relationships with prospective foundation donors and foundation fundraising strategy in collaboration with Senior Manager and Vice President for Strategic Partnerships 

• Represent the organisation, both internally and externally where opportunities arise, including donor visits, public events, and partner convenings 

• Keep abreast and keep the wider team updated of best practices and trends in the philanthropy sector, scoping out strategic opportunities to help us engage new prospective donors

• Contribute to the development of a strong values-based team culture across different countries, areas and streams of work

What are your experience and skills? 

Our ideal Development Officer for Strategic Partnerships will have:

• Outstanding organizational skills, including ability to plan, prioritize and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines

We are hiring a Grassroots Development Officer at BVSC on a 2 year contract. Responsible to the Funding and Development Manager, the role of Grassroots Development Officer will be to support the growth and sustainability of small voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Bexley. This role is funded by the VCSE Capacity Building & Infrastructure Fund 2024/2025 through the South East London Integrated Care System (SEL ICS) and aims to enhance the effectiveness of smaller, often informal groups delivering services that are both ‘by and for’ their service users that are crucial in addressing local health and wellbeing needs for the ‘under-served’ but face significant challenges in visibility and support.

The Grassroots Development Officer will be responsible for providing a wide range of organisational development support services and activities to assist grassroots VCSE organisations to develop, thrive and remain sustainable. This role is particularly interested in working with groups who deliver services to young people, the elderly, minority ethnic (global majority) and migrant groups, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and residents in the north of the borough (areas with high deprivation and a higher proportion of small groups). 
You will be led by the VCSE sector within Bexley to ensure services are accessible, connected, consistent and to a high standard. Development work strives to build the capacity and capabilities of local groups, provide partnership/networking opportunities that enable them to carry out their own objectives effectively and offer high quality services. You will work flexibly and nimbly to provide consistent and seamless support to organisations. You will support across the whole spectrum of charity development, but focus on EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), governance, funding, safeguarding and developing a holistic training package in a variety of formats suitable for grassroots VCS organisations.

Are you a storyteller with a keen eye for detail?

We are looking for a creative written communicator with an excellent eye for detail to tell the story of The Listening Place, our volunteers and our visitors.

The Listening Place offers free, confidential, face-to-face support for people feeling suicidal, provided by highly trained volunteers using active listening skills. Over eight years, the charity has grown rapidly, with now over 800 volunteers delivering up to 150 appointments daily across three sites. TLP receives 750 new referrals every month and will provide support to 8000 people struggling with suicidal feelings this year. This growth, achieved without waiting lists, highlights how TLP balances ambition with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered support. With plans to expand to East London and strong donor and media interest, it’s an exciting time to join this effective, community-led service.

This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for giving TLP a voice across external and internal communications. Through dependable, precise and creative communications, you will help TLP meet its three key communication objectives:

• To inspire and retain volunteers and supporters.
• To influence public and stakeholder opinion on how to deliver effective suicide prevention services.
• To help recruit new volunteers.

All your copy should be clear, concise and help deliver against one of these key objectives.

We are seeking an individual with an excellent eye for detail who is a self-starter, able to seek out stories and respond to opportunities as and when they arise. This means over the course of a day you could be covering an event, interviewing a volunteer, setting up targeted paid adverts or responding to messages from supporters.

Your success will be judged on your ability to deliver all communications with a meticulous attention for detail and a clear understanding of TLP’s voice.

The Communications Coordinator will:

Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development, delivery, analysis and growth of TLP’s communications through effective copy for internal and external stakeholders. This includes:

• Leading on day-to-day account management and content creation for organic and paid activity on TLP social media channels.
• Planning and executing activities for national campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and Mental Health Week.
• Working with and supporting teams from across the organisation to execute engaging internal and external communications and digital campaigns including monthly volunteer and supporter newsletters.
• To act as a point of contact for teams for communications related queries, maintaining a good understanding of approaches, channels and technologies in order to do this.
• Recognise, mitigate and appropriately escalate communications related incidents and risks including reputation management, information governance and sensitivity issues.
• Regularly reviewing website content, looking for ways to constantly improve user experience.
• Compiling regular monthly statistics and analytical reports, evaluating our online performance against agreed metrics.
• Ensure all records are held in compliance with GDPR and the Institute of Fundraising policies.

About the role

The Senior Volunteer officer will work to involve the local community in enhancing and taking care of the park and will support all areas of the Trust’s work, including visitor experience, gardening and supporting the delivery of the Trust’s growing public programme of seasonal, community-focused activities and events. You will work as part of the project team that includes a new Senior Community Engagement Officer. The postholder will also create opportunities for paid sandwich placements, internships and work placements.

The role is offered on a two year fixed term contract with Crystal Palace Park Trust. Any extension after 31 December 2026 is subject to funding.

It's an exciting time to join Mind's Physical Activity team as Physical Activity Lead. We believe sport and physical activity can build resilience, support and enable mental health recovery, and tackle mental health stigma. We have a track record of delivering impactful programmes with Sport England, the English Football League (EFL), ASICS and many other partners.

As Physical Activity Lead, you will lead on the implementation of our physical activity programmes focusing on marginalised communities. This work explores how physical activity can support the mental health of people from racialised communities and people facing poverty.

You will manage our existing partnerships with Sporting Equals, Muslim Sports Foundation and England Boxing. Your will also identify and build new partnerships, particularly with organisations who support people from the African and Caribbean Community.

Throughout the role, you will engage people from marginalised communities to inform and influence our work. This will include working with our Lived Experience Advisors who shape our marginalised communities' work.

This post is funded by Sport England and the National Lottery as part of our system partnership. The role is fixed term full time until March 2027.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Lead the implementation of our physical activity programmes focusing on marginalised communities. This includes reviewing and activating the recommendations from our Audience scoping work around people from racialised communities and people facing poverty.

-Account manage our portfolio of equity partnerships with organisations who support, engage and work with marginalised communities. Ensuring a positive working relationship is developed across both organisations, brokering wider relationships with colleagues in Mind and through our networks, and ensuring partners become sector leaders.

-Identify opportunities and partnerships to support the mental health of marginalised communities, particularly from African and Caribbean communities, through physical activity.

-Provide consultancy support to organisations working with marginalised communities through our Embedding mental health in sport and physical activity: our jigsaw approach subject to capacity and strategic fit. The scope may include, but is not limited to auditing mental health provision, supporting strategy or policy development, providing content for resources or delivering workshops.

-Engage with people from marginalised communities including people from racialised communities and people fighting poverty, to ensure lived experience engagement within our physical activity programme delivery and wider policy work. This includes working with our Lived Experience Advisors to shape our work.

-Lead on the promotion of Mind's Sector Support Universal Offer through developing a promotional plan and coordinating the team's attendance at events and communications to promote resources, working closely with the Physical Activity Coordinator.

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Part - Time Executive Assistant (Remote) to join their team in Colombia. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

This role supports the Executive Director of Breathe Cities. As the Executive Assistant (EA), working alongside the Senior Executive Assistant and Support Manager, and CEO Office team, this role ensures the Director and their teams are supported to work efficiently and effectively and that team projects are facilitated to run smoothly. It’s a role at the heart of a fast-moving organisation and offers an opportunity for hands-on work on projects combatting air pollution. Among the tasks is supporting the preparation for our Governance, including Committee meetings.

The EA is responsible for diary management, which includes a lot of complex international travel and coordinating the preparations for high-profile international events. The post holder manages the Executive’s emails to ensure that they give their attention to organisational priorities – both internal and external.

This position provides support on key team projects, internal and external events, and team engagement which require organizational and administrative input for success. There is scope for initiative, taking on the organisation of convenings, surveys and small conferences.
