The Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) is at the forefront of the movement to transform meat production in order to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger, to antibiotic resistance and animal suffering.
We work with scientists, businesses and policymakers to make sustainable proteins like plant-based and cultivated meat (grown directly from cells) delicious, affordable and accessible. We are at an exciting stage in our growth and are looking for a Donor Engagement Officer to support GFI’s fundraising efforts across Europe.
How you will make a difference
The work of GFI is powered by philanthropy. Reporting to our Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for translating the incredible work of GFI Europe’s programmatic teams into inspiring, engaging stewardship touch-points for our donors. You will bring creativity and data-driven insights to this role. The stewardship touch-points you deliver will support the work of our whole development team and inspire donors at all levels. You will also maintain and upgrade the support of leadership giving level (€2,000-€25,000 p.a.) donors in your own portfolio.
Your work will include:
- Delivering GFI Europe’s existing stewardship strategy (e.g. a mid-year impact update, end-of-year blog, virtual events, and gift anniversary emails).
- Enhancing GFI Europe’s stewardship strategy to maintain and improve donor retention at all gift levels, by researching and recommending creative and effective stewardship ideas (e.g. videos, digital stewardship platforms, events), suggesting improvements to existing processes, materials and resources, and implementing these changes.
- Building strong, meaningful, long-term relationships with a portfolio of 20-30 leadership-giving level donors and prospects (individuals and some foundations) across Europe through face-to-face meetings, video and telephone calls, email and other channels, to acquire, retain and upgrade their support.
- Collating and crafting timely, understandable, concise, and interesting updates about high-impact news about GFI Europe’s work, tailored to different countries and cultures, that frontline fundraisers can share with donors and prospects to show how their support makes a difference and inspires further giving.
- Helping to provide GFI Europe’s input into global stewardship materials and events, such as the Year in Review by collecting and submitting impact stories and collaborating with global colleagues.
- Assisting other frontline fundraisers with stewardship reports, according to need and capacity.
- Ensuring accurate, timely and thorough correspondence, acknowledgement and record-keeping at all stages of the donor journey for donors in your portfolio. You will use our CRM system (Salesforce) to manage prospects and supporters, enter and track gifts, pull reports, and analyse data.

Who we’re looking for
We primarily hire for skills and potential rather than experience. The core skills and attributes needed to excel in the role are:

- Comprehension & communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to understand a range of information (i.e. about alternative proteins, and GFI Europe’s science, policy and industry work) and translate it into compelling and persuasive messages for donors.
- Creative thinking: The ability to develop creative, innovative strategies and materials for engaging supporters.
- Project management: Experience in managing projects from conception to fruition.
- Initiative: a sense of ownership and responsibility to drive outcomes.
- Excellent people skills: building strong, collaborative and positive relationships, and working well with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple cultures.
- Attention to detail: ensuring accuracy of information, for example when using a CRM database to record and track interactions with donors and prospects.
- Tech savviness: Good level of IT literacy and a willingness to learn new software packages (training in Salesforce, Asana, and Google Suite will be provided).
- Integrity: A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.

It would be an advantage to have some or all of the following attributes, but none of them are prerequisites, and we welcome applications from candidates without any or all of them:
- A willingness to occasionally work flexibly, including occasional evenings, weekends and public holidays (for example, for donor meetings).
- Experience in video editing and/or graphic design.
- A proven track record of securing philanthropic gifts via face-to-face, digital or telephone fundraising.

Benefits and the fine print
- Terms of employment: Full-time (38 hours/week), flexible working hours, permanent.
- Location: We can consider applicants based in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain or the UK. This is a remote role, and you will be able to work from home, or we are happy to consider supporting costs for co-working to enable you to work from an office if you wish. The whole GFI Europe team aims to get together in person approximately twice per year for around 3-5 days at a time. Travel costs will be covered by GFI Europe within our travel policy.
- Salary and benefits: The salary and benefits package for all of our roles are researched and benchmarked based on similar nonprofit roles in the country/location of hire. Due to capacity, we cannot complete that research for every European country in advance, but approximate indicative ranges (total annual amounts received in gross salary plus benefits including home-working allowance) are likely to be:
- £36.000 – 39.600 if based in the UK.
- Right to work requirements: The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the country where they are based, and to be able to travel within the EU.

The Role
Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync as a Customer Success Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our non-profit clients succeed in their digital fundraising endeavours.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Work closely with Growth team to deliver smooth and effective handover milestones to ensure ongoing client confidence.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at non-profit organisations, understanding their digital fundraising goals and aligning our solutions with their strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular check-ins and strategic reviews to assess client satisfaction, gather feedback and identify opportunities to increase value and reduce churn across Social Mind and Social Sync.
- Explore different ways in which clients may benefit from new agency services as our offer diversifies in line with market trends and demands.
- Onboarding and Adoption:
- Ensure client satisfaction by keeping internal teams well briefed to successfully deliver agreed client requirements to a high standard and on time.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure clients have everything needed for successful campaign launches and ongoing optimisations.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption and engagement with our platform, tailoring approaches to each client’s unique needs and goals.

- Create and manage comprehensive success plans for clients, setting clear goals and regularly reviewing progress to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes.

Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge and understanding of non-profit fundraising, particularly social and digital fundraising.

BEO is a civil rights charity that was set up to challenge and dismantle systemic racism. We work with Black communities by using campaigning, policy and research in conjunction with the law to effect meaningful change.
Legal services are central to BEO. We are therefore looking for someone of 4yrs PQE who has experience in social welfare, human rights, public and administration law and who seeks an opportunity to use those skills specifically in the area of challenging systemic racism.
In the last year we have been developing our relationships with partner organisations, ranging from community groups, our stakeholder law firms, NGOs and law firms experienced in equality and discrimination law, to deliver legal services. The role holder will be required to build on and expand these relationships so that BEO can offer quality legal advice to Back communities in the nations and regions across the United Kingdom.
We are building our internal legal team so that we can provide targeted legal support to Black communities. We are looking for someone to work with the Director of Legal Services and Policy to ensure that high quality legal advice, support and representation are the hallmark of BEO.
Apart from delivering targeted legal advice and representation and identifying and running strategic litigation cases, the role holder will be required to think creatively to assist in fundraising and campaigning to develop a sustainable legal service. BEO does not have a Legal Aid Agency contract so self funds all legal work. About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Sunderland on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential. This is a part-time role, 17.5 hours per week, and working hours can be discussed at interview but would suit school hours.
About you

Purpose of the post
To lead the development of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector (VCSE) voice and influence in the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership. To support good population health and health inequality ambitions, specifically relating to healthy minds, children, young people and families and healthy communities.
To lead the development of valuable feedback loops between advocates and the VCSE sector, and to collaborate with the VCSA Insight and Impact Manager to produce insight reports that can be used to further influence system decisions.
To develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders operating at grassroots and strategic levels to ensure Health and Social Care services are being designed and commissioned with insight from the VCSE.
Background
This is an exciting new opportunity to develop a strategic approach to VCSE voice and influence across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership to support good population health and health inequality ambitions, specifically relating to healthy minds, children young prole and families and healthy communities. These are three of the five priorities for our Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership.
Our Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership, in collaboration with Bradford Council and VCSE infrastructure support organisations, have commissioned a new transitional VCSE Activation Contract.
This contract will:
- Strengthen the Sector – through improving the capability of, and address weaknesses in, organisations that directly divert citizens from the statutory health and social care system.
- Activate the Voice and Influence of Citizens and the VCSE Sector to ensure insight and experience of diverse citizens and VCSE organisations inform and support activity which takes pressure off front line health and social care services.
- And will seek out the voices and insight of the most marginalised communities and those of the VCSE organisations that are working with and supporting those groups to achieve the outcome described above. This citizen voice is a key theme to how we make decisions across our place – Bradford District and Craven.
During this coming year we will work together as partners to focus on our shared ambition of people living ‘happy, healthy at home.’ Specifically, taking pressure off front health and care front line services, including children and young people’s services.
Special conditions
As part of this role, you will be required to work and travel across the Bradford District and Craven. While the VCS Alliance supports hybrid working, there is an expectation that you will be based at the office for at least two days per week.

We are seeking an experienced project manager with a genuine passion and knowledge about nature and climate to lead and deliver our new WASH project.
Norton Hall is a small, but growing charity with a vibrant team based in and working with the community of Wash wood Heath, in East Birmingham. The WASH will be based at our Dolphin Women’s Centre in Ward End Park; a much valued, Green Flag accredited 54-acre public space with a Lake and the Wash Brook.
Thanks to National Lottery players, Norton Hall has received a five-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.
The funding will be used to engage our local community in nature and climate learning activities, connecting them with the rural environment, increasing their connection to their surroundings and encouraging them to understand what it means to them. Shaped by volunteers, service users and partners, the WASH aims to see improvements in everyday lives, including food and growing skills, career opportunities, improved mental and physical health, and confidence building.
To succeed in this role, your extensive project and people management experience will ideally be rooted in environmental work and co-ordinating large-scale projects. Your interpersonal and leadership skills will enable you to develop excellent relationships with your team, partners and wider stakeholders.

The Miscarriage Association (MA) is a national charity dedicated to providing support and information to anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy. You will manage relationships with the media and lead on securing coverage across online and offline channels, through, for example, press releases, human interest stories, case studies and position statements.

This post will manage trust income in line with donor requirements, identifying and building relationships with new prospects and submitting high quality and engaging reports and proposals. - Write compelling funding applications and grant reports to trusts and foundations at 5- and 6-figure level

We require a Counsellor to provide counselling interventions and family support services in schools across the Diocese of Salford according to each school’s formal agreement.
The role requires you to liaise and work with parents and families to ensure that the child/young person’s needs are being met and any issues that arise are being addressed appropriately. This will also include providing support and guidance to school staff on these matters.
You must have knowledge of safeguarding guidelines and risk factors in relation to working with children and young people and be able to respond accordingly by following the locality safeguarding procedures and ensure that priority is given to the Safeguarding Policy and Procedures in all work undertaken. You must also support the school staff with safeguarding.
You must have competent IT skills, be confident with systems, complete reports, maintain records and manage confidential data and be able to review and obtain feedback on the support in place for the children and young people and provide this information back to the schools and Caritas Schools’ Service as required.
You must also be able to make autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice and approaches and partake in supervision one to one, clinical and group reflective supervision with other counsellors.
Registered counsellor status with the BACP or UKCP is essential. However, we will discuss experience and qualifications on a person-by-person basis if you are selected for an interview. The salary includes accrued annual leave.

Asylum Matters is looking for a Campaigns & Media Manager committed to fighting for the rights of
people seeking asylum. Our team of eight staff is geographically dispersed across the UK. We are a
charity that campaigns locally and nationally, in close collaboration with an extensive network of
partner organisations, to advocate for progressive change on a range of issues that affect people in
the asylum system in the UK.

Asylum Matters was established in 2016 and became an independent charity in 2021, and plays a

change for refugees and people seeking safety here. We are a convenor and facilitator of
collaboration and joint action. Our work connects the local with the national, helps strengthen
collective advocacy on asylum reform and ensures it is informed by the reality on the ground.
We are looking for an experienced media manager to support our work in campaigning for the rights of
people seeking asylum. You will be an experienced & natural collaborator with a passion for charitiesand community based organisations, working with them to support improved communications and
media work around the Lived Impact of anti Refugee policies. The post will work directly with a range
of front line charities and groups to develop capacity for people with Lived Experience to tell their
story.
You will have established relationships with a range of media outlets, including those focussing on
asylum & migration, but also more broadly those covering poverty, racial justice and homelessness.
You will be a skilful communicator and ideally have experience of a range of digital media work in
addition to traditional media outlets.
We are particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of the UK asylum system and
anyone with lived experience who meets the essential criteria will be guaranteed an interview. The
successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
