This is an exciting time to join the team where the role will be a part of a small, very busy and dedicated People, Capability and Culture (PCC) team focusing on the UK and Germany. The role will be the first point of contact with employees and third-party providers. They will provide advice and support on a number of people and culture systems, processes, IT and travel. They will undertake a variety of HR and Operations administration duties, in keeping with employment law, charity policies and procedures, to support the UK and Germany (DE) Team.
This role with work closely with the Head of PCC & Operations to focus on:
• The coordination of recruitment working with the UK and DE hiring managers. This includes job postings, advertisements, PCC prescreening, scheduling interviews and liaising with candidates.
• Being responsible for managing the Diversity Monitoring process for all recruitment activities.
• Onboarding and welcoming of new recruits; drafting contracts, setting up profiles on BambooHR, ensuring the process is completed in a timely and welcoming way.
• Liaise with hiring manager on the new persons induction, set up meetings and have an onboarding pack ready to send and be completed. Follow up on key documentation and policies have been read and signed.
• HR operation projects and initiatives, induction, probation, sick leave, staff development, employee administration, policies and procedures, compliance monitoring and offboarding.
• The maintenance of all HR operations electronic systems in the UK and Germany to ensure all information is updated and accurate, and staff understand how to use the system.
• Take minutes of meetings as and when required, meeting the deadline in sending out the minutes.
The role will also focus on office management of the UK Head Office, this includes office maintenance issues, Health & Safety Compliance matters and other relevant areas requiring support as required. Liaising with our IT support team on maintenance of laptops and setting them up for new staff. Be the point of contact for staff office resources, supplies and equipment requirements.
Has excellent communication skills, including written and verbal to engage with employees and third-party providers. Is proficient in using HRIS software to manage employee data and produce reports. We are looking for someone to join the team who has the ability to identify issues and problem solve, be creative and can build and manage successful relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Previous charity sector experience and someone who can speak German (both verbal and written) is desirable.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support the development and delivery of marketing and communications campaigns, helping to promote GBC’s message externally and with accredited organisations.

Interagency work
· Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
· Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
· Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.

Case management

· Manage a case load focusing on high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse to provide an assertive, medium to long term service, based on thorough assessment and individual support planning that adopts the principles of both ‘Support (change) or/and Disrupt (continued offending) concept.
· Contribute to regular service reviews which include monitoring data, evaluations, intake and output policy, and practice and work load reviews for the whole service.
· Attend monthly case management meeting with the Service Manager .
· Attend clinical supervision.
· Take appropriate steps to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person.
Recording and administration
· Ensure that case files and records are accurate and complete, and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements.
· To enter all the required information into the Drive project electronic case management system to enable tracking of service user change, multi-agency working and risk management.
· Weekly maintenance and accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.

Direct work with service users
· Maintain a proactive response to service users, continuously providing positive options for behaviour change throughout the service users time in the Drive project
· Use combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of therapeutic skills to engage service users to addressing their abusive behaviour
· Motivate and support service users to address the broad range of needs that may contribute to the risk that they pose to others or act as barrier for them in addressing that risk. e.g. housing, substance use etc.
· To ensure that service users understand that the community and Drive project will ensure that they are accountable for continued use of abuse and abusive behaviour towards others
· Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to the identified perpetrators of domestic abuse, including comprehensive risk assessment, support planning, referrals to other agencies and MARACs.
· Develop strategies that will disrupt the continued risk posed by service users

The Senior Communications Strategist will contribute to the delivery of projects on issues like access to justice, achieving health equity, and securing decent and affordable homes for everyone working with partners such as Impact on Urban Health, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Shelter, and the Law Society.
