We have a brand new Project Manager opportunity which is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract sat within our Funding Strategy, Communication and Impact Directorate, created to manage the development and implementation of our Evidence and Impact Strategy.

You will support a multi-disciplinary project team drawn from across The National Lottery Community Fund to develop and deliver the Evidence & Impact Strategy. Using excellent project management skills, you will support the team to:

• deliver a programme of internal and external consultation that will inform the strategy’s focus and priorities
• develop the Impact Strategy for publication in January 2025
• develop a detailed delivery plan for colleagues working in Evidence & Impact that will outline the initial activities and actions that they will take to begin implementing the strategy
• monitor progress, address challenges, manage risks and ensure that key milestones and deliverables are met

Input new supporter data and update existing records as needed 
Handle cash and cheque donations adding these directly onto the database to create income batches and ensure reconciliation with the Finance system 
Be the first point of contact for supporters via telephone and visiting in person 
Provide administrative support to all members of the Fundraising Team

What we are looking for:

· A dynamic and experienced individual, who has worked in a senior financial management role, ideally within the charity sector

· Achievement of a recognised, professional Accountancy part qualification status (for example, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

· An inquisitive mind, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial processes to non-financial staff

· Experience in the preparation of budgets, financial analysis and financial reporting

· Proven IT skills, including a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, with a strong knowledge of Excel’s functions and formulas

· Proficient in financial management software and tools

Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00 (midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs. 

This role is for our Ealing Safe Space, 4:30pm - 11:30pm. You may be required to cover at other locations across Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc. 
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
• To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
• To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
• To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis.
• To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.

The Role

The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one and group basis. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service.

• Service Provision: Supporting the Project Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services Team to complete estate inspections and health & safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Project Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents Team to create a rent payment culture.
• Leadership and People Management: Directly line managing team members and supporting the Project Manager in recruiting and inducting new staff. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions.
• General: Be a member of the ‘on call’ rota to provide out of hours management support to projects in the wider locality. Reflect Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs), Trauma Informed approaches and restorative practices.

WISH accommodation aims to keep residents safe and supported through an in-reach, wrap around & multi-agency support package. Women will be assisted to regain their independence, to re-join their communities and to develop the necessary skills to live in freedom from fear.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with Manchester Women’s aid to provide specialist support. You will lead a team of staff to provide excellent services and outcomes for women.

You will represent Nacro in this service area and work with the area manager to grow and develop the service.

Key Responsibilities.

• Lead, manage, develop, and motivate staff, including undertaking support and supervision and performance appraisals, to ensure their ability to perform roles and that they engage in their own personal development.
•  Plan and direct the activities of the team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality support and housing management service, which meets the contractual and organisational objectives, targets, standards, and outcomes.

Do you have experience in successfully managing complex projects, ideally in a not-for -profit environment?  We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to develop and shape programmes to successfully deliver against the Church of England’s ambitious target to become net-zero by 2030.

This role will be working across both Rochester and Canterbury Diocese and the successful applicant will need to have current working knowledge of environmental and climate issues.

This is a new role which is funded for two years. 

 Key Responsibilities

The post-holder(s) will:

• Oversee the ongoing development and delivery of the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) programmes for both dioceses.
• Maximise the alignment of the plans for each diocese as far as is practical to optimise the benefit of working together in partnership, and actively identify and develop opportunities for partnership working in delivery. Specifically, to develop a NZC action plan for Rochester including managing the adoption of the plan by the appropriate governance committees. (Note: Canterbury already has an approved NZC action plan.)
• Develop, maintain and deliver an implementation plan which highlights the strategic activities, has clear objectives and impact measures; including evaluation.
• Working with other diocesan colleagues, oversee the planning and development of decarbonisation projects to deliver the ambitions and targets in the NZC Action plans.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have a track record of delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in a not-for-profit environment with and understanding of environmental and climate issue.  An understanding of how these issues affect the Church of England would be beneficial.

About the role

The aim of this newly created role is to lead organisational change on safeguarding and protection across Care4Calais.

Who we are: Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is a well-established, innovative and forward-thinking local domestic abuse service. We are seeking a self-motivated, flexible and experienced individual to join our dynamic team to help us deliver excellent services to vulnerable women who have experienced domestic abuse and be committed to working in a non-discriminatory manner.

About the role:  We are seeking to recruit a Counselling Services Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Counselling Services Manager and assist in the smooth running of our counselling programme. You will deal with referrals and carry out clinical counselling assessments in person and online to ensure that BCWA is the correct counselling service for the client.  You will liaise with our trainee counsellors and allocate clients to the counsellors based on suitability. You will manage our counselling waiting lists and ensure clients are kept informed.  You will ensure confidentiality and data security is maintained in relation to service user’s details, case records and supervision notes. Ideally you will have or be working towards a counselling qualification and/or have experience of providing trauma-informed support.

All staff have access to hot-desking at our offices as needed. We do our best to accommodate flexible working practices at BCWA. We are all women with busy lives and families, and we understand that flexibility can be crucial in supporting women in the workplace.

By harnessing innovative sensory and assistive technology, we empower children to play, learn, communicate, interact with the world, and create lasting memories with their families.

For nearly 25 years, we have provided cutting-edge technology, training, and ongoing technical support free of charge to children’s hospices in Britain and Ireland, impacting over 12,500 children and their families annually.

Main duties and responsibilities

 Technology provision

- To co-ordinate the application and consultation process for children’s palliative care services invited to apply for new packages of technology.

- To create documentation annually to capture all equipment requests, costings and associated partnership agreements.

- To co-ordinate technology installation schedules and liaise with Lifelites Champions to ensure efficient project delivery.

- To produce handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule.

- To attend and support the delivery of events, installations and Lifelites functions and represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums.

- To provide administrative support for new technology pilots and other innovation activity.

- To support the development of Lifelites 25th anniversary activities, which are currently in development.

Learning and development

- To respond to training requests and co-ordinate installation and ongoing face-to-face training by liaising with Lifelites Champions, Lifelites Trainer and Head of Services to book dates and prepare training itineraries.

- To co-ordinate Lifelites Super User events including venue bookings, scheduling and training providers.

- To capture and monitor training feedback and prepare briefings for Head of Services and Trainer.

- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules, interactive learning and activity ideas.

Partner engagement

- To support ongoing quality improvement by delivering regular account calls, responding to queries and maintaining up to date contact information for Lifelites Champions and other key stakeholders.

- To co-ordinate monitoring activity with partners including training feedback, annual surveys and case studies.

- To liaise with the Communications & Marketing Officer to create and publish information relating to services for newsletters and social media.

General

- To comply with Lifelites policies and procedures at all times.

- To contribute to and embody Lifelites’ values and workplace culture.

- To administer the departmental folders on the shared drive.

- To Provide support and complete minutes in quarterly committee meetings
