As a member of the UK Policy and Advocacy team, this role will be responsible for leading our policy work focusing on early childhood education, with a particular focus on the home learning environment and developing primary research engaging with very young children. Working closely with colleagues across the Advocacy and Programmes Departments, you will be expected to develop and deliver an effective influencing strategy, based on robust evidence and persuasive policy asks that help protect and promote the physical and mental health and wellbeing of babies and young children living in the UK. You’ll be joining at an exciting time for our team as we adapt our Early Moments Matter Campaign to the context of influencing and engaging with a new Government.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have an in-depth understanding of policy-making processes and how to develop effective influencing strategies, excellent research and writing skills and a good understanding of the policy context of early childhood health and/or other UK child wellbeing topic area.

- Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.
- Provide effective analytical insight and advice to partners and Head of Finance to maximise the return on investment and support for implementing change to improve outcomes.
- Supporting RCR’s regular financial and non-financial performance reporting with analytical advice, insight and commentaries.

What you’ll need:

This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.
PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.
PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

Join us at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association and play a pivotal role in ensuring people affected by MND have access to new and innovative treatments. As a Senior Policy Advisor (Access to Treatments), you will be essential in providing the Association with the vital information and analysis needed to influence health and care policymakers.
You will lead on issues related to access to treatments and healthcare, including the availability of medicines, genetic tests, and new care models. You'll monitor the policy landscape and regulatory environment, develop policy positions, and engage with external partners to maximise the availability and accessibility of treatments and clinical trials.
You will collaborate closely with our internal colleagues, particularly the Senior Policy Advisor for Research and Healthcare, to enhance the availability of clinical trials. Your work will involve analysing policy issues, identifying solutions, and preparing briefing documents for senior colleagues.
Engagement with a variety of stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and people with MND, is key. You will also liaise with organisations such as the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and NHS England, communicating the MND Association's positions through policy papers, briefings, and reports.
Additionally, you will support our public affairs and campaigning efforts to influence politicians and decision-makers on issues related to access to treatments. This includes conducting research, producing policy reports, and organising consultation meetings, seminars, and conferences.

The Sanitation Senior Advisor is a senior position in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the Sanitation Lead. PSK leads and supports organisation-wide programme learning and knowledge management, collating and disseminating programme knowledge and facilitating knowledge exchange. The team provides technical advisory expertise and fosters and supports internal and external programme and technical partnerships and networks. The team also leads on developing normative programme documents and standards and advise and support the delivery of a programme capacity enhancement strategy. PSK collaborates with many functions across the organisation including policy, advocacy, campaigns, fundraising, communications, as well as with WaterAid partners and collaborators.
About the Role:
The Sanitation Senior Advisor is a senior position in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the Sanitation Lead. Together with the Sanitation Lead, the Senior Advisor co-leads the delivery of core team responsibilities regarding the thematic areas of sanitation and other closely associated topics. Applying a people-centred, systems strengthening approach to WASH, she/he provides high quality specialist technical analysis, advisory, and support services to the design, inception, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and/or assessments of WaterAid’s programming worldwide, at both strategic and operational levels.
In collaboration with country, regional and global colleagues, she/he co-leads the facilitation of effective learning and management of technical and programme knowledge across the organisation, and co-leads the development of relevant standards and guidance. She/he also provides strategic and technical input to fundraising, communications, and external engagements.
The Senior advisor has a high degree of independent and professional responsibility within own specialist areas, and discusses with her/his line manager to agree on how objectives are delivered. She/he is seen as a thematic authority and is able to handle highly challenging technical assignments. With a good understanding of organisational dynamics and ways of working, she/he is expected to effectively collaborate widely across WaterAid, facilitating joined-up and comprehensive efforts to advance WaterAid’s programming globally.
About You:
- Strong technical experience in developing, and implementing sanitation approaches, services delivery and management models, resilience and sustainability of services, environmental sanitation, sanitary engineering, wastewater and drainage, and/or other inter-related topics across different settings, demonstrated through a progressive career record.
- A relevant post-Graduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience in offering technical assistance, consulting, and/or advisory services to empower and to develop capacities of sanitation service providers, operators, local and national governments as well as INGO/CSO partners.
- Ability to handle highly specialized, unusual, and challenging technical assignments, resolve complex issues in practical and imaginative ways.
- Strong writing and communication ability in English. Experienced in producing practical knowledge products targeting needs of diverse audiences and effective peer-learning and sharing of good practices and lessons.
- Organised and efficient. Demonstrated ability to drive tasks forward to completion in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- A team player, able to work responsibly, under pressure, and collaboratively across diverse groups and culture.

- Solid IT skills, particularly with core Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Relevant technical experience in systems strengthening, urban planning, behaviour change, private sector engagement, sector financing, gender, inclusion, environment and/or other WASH-related topics.
- Working knowledge in French, Portuguese, Spanish, and/or any language widely spoken in the countries where WaterAid has programming.

We need you to play a key role in the delivery and development of CRUK's International Cancer Prevention (ICP) programme through the design and delivery of policy research, advocacy and capacity building programmes in low-and-middle income countries, and related policy initiatives for the assigned cancer prevention area. This post has a current focus on Cervical Cancer prevention, though this may evolve over time.
What will I be doing?
With support, designing and deliver policy research, advocacy and capacity building programmes with partners in low-and-middle income countries from project scoping through to monitoring and evaluation. This may include grants, partnerships and commissioned research.
Ensuring effective management of current portfolio of Cervical Cancer Prevention grants, including appropriate reporting, monitoring, evaluation and learning
Supporting current partners to develop their policy research and advocacy work and contribute to capacity building as required
Leading day-to-day co-ordination of the Cervical Cancer Action for Elimination (CCAE) civil society network, in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, including delivery of online events and initiatives
Working with internal and external partners to influence sub-national/national/regional/global policy
Identifying relevant actors that CRUK could support with funding and/or partnership to advance cancer control in LMICs
Developing expertise in relevant cancer prevention area(s), including knowledge of relevant WHO, global, regional and national strategies and frameworks
Keeping up to date with global policy and advocacy developments and the wider global health and international development sectors
Producing engaging communications for a range of audiences, including summaries of research outputs, blogs, briefings and case studies
Contributing to the work of CRUKs Global team and Policy Department e.g. through annual operational planning, budget formulation and other management and reporting processes

Overview of Role:
As Human Resources Advisor you will be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. This is a maternity cover post, so is offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role
We are looking for an experienced advisor to join our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee as Chair of our external EDI Committee. There will be a minimum of four two-hour sessions each year. Advisors have a term of 3 years, with the option to complete a maximum of 2 terms. We are seeking a Sex Worker Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (SWISVA) to provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to people involved in sex work, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, including those directly related to sexual violence. You will support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so. You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence, including pathways through the criminal justice processes.
The post is part of a unique partnership between National Ugly Mugs, Basis Yorkshire and POW (Nottingham) to ensure more specialist support for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence, to develop good practice guidelines, develop and share learning, and to influence change in provisions for sex workers. Each organisation will be employing a SWISVA; the program will be led by a Program Coordinator who will be based with Basis Yorkshire, and who will lead on influencing of policy and sharing of learning to improve outcomes for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence
The main role responsibilities (further outlined in the job description) are:

Oversee a caseload of people who have experienced sexual violence

Ensure that sex workers have access to specialist sexual violence services, including access to the SARC and support throughout the criminal justice process
