This role sits within the Irish Chaplaincy IC Traveller Equality Project team. Responsibilities include:
Liaise with London Probation, prisons and other agencies to advance equality of opportunity for the GRT community; assist in giving presentations; Probation office visit with easy reading culturally specific books, GRT resources, take part in market style events, explain services, deliver presentations in person and over teams, participate in relevant conferences and meetings.
Deliver an effective advocacy service to the GRT community in prison and their families in response to referrals arising from prison visiting, allocating follow up casework as necessary. Provide advocacy with a wide range of external bodies.
Take responsibility for caseload of clients and to liaise with others in the service delivery to provide comprehensive service to those preparing for release / re settlement and those on probation in the community in London.
Provide, by telephone, email and letter, information about legal and penal systems to prisoners and their families and put them in touch with agencies for specialised help. Mail outs / resource packs to prisoners. Data form management.
Proactively engage with HMPPS, legal/welfare groups and other relevant organisations as requested by GRT prisoners while they are in prison and on probation
Keep, collate and maintain accurate detailed records for own work (via database) ensuring adherence to data protection rules; maintain the cultural and educational resources of the Project; disseminate resources to prisons and other relevant bodies; assist with the production of a newsletter; contribute material to quarterly reports, funder applications and other reports.

The events team is responsible for delivering a large portion of the free events that take place across The Fund; including online events, roundtables, workshops, receptions and dinners. To join us, you’ll need a degree (or equivalent) and experience in planning and delivering virtual and in person conferences and other smaller events. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead effective logistics arrangements in preparation for and on the day of events. We’ll expect you to work hard to support the team and you will be given responsibility for your own areas of work. As a key member of the Learning and Development function, you will coordinate our range of learning and development programme for our staff and volunteers.

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. In doing so, you will use your digital communications skills for the better, contributing to the success of the movement and supporting young people to access transformational educational opportunities they would otherwise not have dreamt of.
Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies. Alongside your business-as-usual tasks, you will support the Digital Communications Manager in coordinating with the advancement and admissions teams at each of the 18 UWC schools to run ad-hoc campaigns and manage external stakeholders and partners.

You will effectively communicate our services and campaign our aims aligned to our strategic priorities.
You will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and the funding pipeline; ensure the maintenance and development of excellent relationships with current and new funders, stewarding grants and reporting back; review, update and develop service budgets; oversee the submission or coordination of quality bids, approaches, and events.
As a member of the senior leadership team, this post will work cross departmentally and will contribute to the overall strategy of Woman’s Trust, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees. You will lead and line manage the Senior Trust and Foundation Manager and Fundraising Officer. You will deliver a direct income target for each year, with a focus on the development and tendering of statutory commissioning.

Scottish Women’s Aid has an exciting opportunity to join the Training team, covering maternity for the Learning and Development Coordinator post. The role holder will be responsible for leading on the coordination and delivery of a programme of learning, development and good practice events for Scottish Women’s Aid’s 33 member organisations who deliver frontline services to women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse. Working closely with the Member Services team and the Training team, they will identify key learning and development needs of the network, commission, develop and deliver training and ensure the member learning and development programme is fit for purpose through regular monitoring and evaluation. Background
Scottish Women’s Aid is the lead organisation in Scotland working to end domestic abuse. We are both a children’s rights and a women’s rights organisation.
- We directly campaign to institutions and leaders for policies and laws that address the drivers of women’s inequality and improve responses to domestic abuse. This work makes women and children safer and helps them disentangle themselves from their abusers.
- We provide training to public and private bodies from the police and judiciary to child welfare systems, to effectively respond to survivors.
- We raise the profile of domestic abuse nationally and internationally so that domestic abuse is treated like the critical threat to human rights that it is.
- We host Scotland’s 24-Hour Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline to ensure help is always available while actively supporting a network of 33 specialist local Women’s Aid services that directly support and provide refuge to women and children of Scotland affected by domestic abuse

What you’ll do
Working collaboratively with the Training, Member Services, Policy and other teams within SWA, you will coordinate and deliver a learning and development programme for our members, including an online programme of events and tailored, bespoke learning for individual member organisations as needed. You will develop and deliver training and, where appropriate external expertise is required, identify and commission external and associate trainers as part of the learning and development programme. You will undertake continuous monitoring and evaluation of the member learning and development programme to ensure it is meeting members’ needs, of high quality and making an impact.

ABOUT THE POLITICS PROJECT
We support young people to use their voice by providing them with outstanding democratic education. We work with young people, teachers and politicians to help them to learn, teach and engage in politics. We are a non-partisan organisation working across the UK.
ABOUT DEMOCRACY CLASSROOM
Democracy Classroom is a partnership between over 100 civil society organisations that supports young people to engage in elections and democracy. The network supports collaboration through newsletters, training, meet up’s and an annual conference, as well as providing resources and training for teachers and youth practitioners. Democracy Classroom pools the collective support of the sector through the Democracy Classroom Platform, where teachers and youth workers can access the collective support of the membership.
Following the recent General Election, the network has experienced growth and is now preparing to support upcoming elections, votes at 16 and new developments such as changes to democratic education and the curriculum review. The network is non-partisan and works across all 4 nations in the UK.
The aims of the network include:
Increasing the number of young people engaging with democracy and elections.
Increasing the number of teachers and youth workers delivering democratic education, and strengthening their capacity to deliver impactful democratic engagement and voter registration activities in schools, colleges and youth settings across the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The post holder will work with the Director and the Programme Manager of Democracy Classroom to support the growth of the Democracy Classroom network by managing the website / platform. They will:
- Liaise with partners to compile learning resources and training opportunities to share on the platform.
- Add resources, training opportunities and other relevant information to the platform as required.
- Ensure the platform is kept up to date and accessible.
- Support Democracy Classroom communication channels - producing Democracy Classroom newsletters and creating engaging social media content to highlight the work of partners, their learning resources and training opportunities, on the platform.
The post holder will also:
- Coordinate training for teachers and youth workers to deliver election education materials.
- Manage the Democracy Classroom database.
- Assist with monitoring and evaluation.

About the Team:
The Programmes Funding & Partnerships Team contributes to WaterAid's mission by cultivating and securing income from institutional and non-institutional partners for all WaterAid's programmes globally so that WaterAid can effectively deliver on its mission.
About the Role:
In this role, you will drive the production and analysis of the quarterly restricted funding KPI reports, use your analytical expertise to ensure data quality and accuracy, and identify opportunities to improve our restricted funding management information tools. You will also contribute to the socialisation of our underlying restricted funding business process, in collaboration with the wider team and the WaterAid Programme System team.
You'll also:
- Lead on the bi-annual development, production and detailed analysis of restricted funding Key Performance Indicator reports (KPIs) for restricted income generation and management with support from the Power Bi team and liaising with key stakeholders.
- Support the Head of PFP in funding data analysis for board reports and adhoc reporting requests.
- Lead on the production of restricted funding reports to support the organisational performance framework and/or as required to improve visibility and accountability of restricted funding performance
- Lead on identifying restricted funding data quality checks and controls to ensure WAPS restricted funding data is as clean as possible and liaise with the relevant WAPS team lead to support on regular data audits.
- Regular review and refresh of restricted funding management information tools to ensure they are useful and innovative.
- Ensure business processes for restricted income generation and management are up to date and inclusive of any new best practice approaches such as cost recovery and co-financing management initiatives
- Ensure all RFP training documents/guides contain up to date WaterAid Programme System (WAPS) references to reflect any changes in system protocols.
- Work with the RFC Advisors, Finance, Strategic Partnerships and other teams as needed to establish how relevant sub-processes and systems currently work or do not work, how they may need to change and how other changes may impact them. Propose solutions, implement, document and communicate them.
About You:
To be successful, you'll need:
- Ability to use, understand and manage complex data sources: ability to extract data and identify and resolve inconsistencies that will impact on data accuracy and financial KPIs
- Strong Microsoft Excel/numerical capability and good PowerPoint skills
- Capacity to provide robust analysis; ability to present complex information/data simply to a range of audiences
- Background and strong practice in fundraising and funding contract management
- Understanding of participative training techniques for capacity building
- Demonstrable organisational skills, with the ability to work in a matrix management culture, ensuring that projects are delivered: ability to work proactively and initiate projects/activity with appropriate independence.
- Proven ability to build consensus, deal with ambiguity and collaborate with colleagues locally and remotely, across diverse cultures and aims.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work across different cultures
- A degree and a proven interest/experience in international development
- A willingness to travel and an ability to work independently with limited supervision
