About us
Who we are
The Politcs Project supports young people to use their voice by providing them with outstanding democratic education. We work with young people, teachers and politicians to help them to learn, teach and take part in politics. We are a non-partisan organisation working across the UK. We are also experts in supporting young people and politicians to engage through political contact.
The Politics Project also convenes the Democracy Classroom network, a partnership between over 100 civil society organisations that supports young people to engage in elections.
OUR MISSION:
To ensure that every young person in the UK, regardless of their background or geographical location, can have a say on issues that matter to them.
OUR AIMS:
- To ensure that young people have the knowledge, skills and confidence to engage with the democratic system.
- To provide opportunities for teachers and youth practitioners to deliver outstanding democratic education.
- To support politicians to meaningfully and effectively represent young people.
