Our support for women: Maternity Mates: one-to-one continuity of care support during pregnancy, labour and birth and postnatally by a trained local volunteer who may share experiences and speak up to 15 languages between them. Her Health: One to advocacy in two languages for women who have experienced gender-based violence, female genital cutting. Healing Conversations: one to one trauma counselling in five languages and baby loss peer support.
Sister Circle is looking for a part-time Programme Lead who is committed to tackling one of the most pressing challenges in women’s health today—improving equity and justice for underserved communities of women.
The Role
In this newly created role of Programme Lead, you will be responsible for working closely with pregnant mums and Maternity Mates volunteers to provide tailored support to ensure each pregnancy is a positive experience. You will be responsible for the assessments to determine the support needs of pregnant mums, matching each with her volunteer Maternity Mate; whilst mentoring each volunteer through her journey with mum to provide the very best support.
You will develop good working relationships with volunteers and pregnant mums and take responsibility for continuous improvement so that mums receive the very best possible support and are able to navigate and make choices for themselves. You will proactive and enjoy working collaboratively with your Project Manager and other members of the Sister Circle team.
You will be expected to work from one or two of the Family Hub sites within Croydon.
You will be confident and proficient in:
Programme Management – delivering high quality support programme for mums living with complex needs and managing volunteers. Effectively manage a significant caseload and effectively manage multiple priorities, at times under pressure.
Engagement and Collaboration – working closely with colleagues to deliver the day-to-day support.
Problem-Solving and Service Development – Ability to identify and come up with solutions to challenges.
Data Analysis and Impact Reporting – Experience of gathering data from beneficiaries and volunteers.

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and enabling the International Programmes at TI-UK (TI Defence and Security and Global Health) to operate efficiently and effectively, by delivering timely, consistent, rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.
The Programme Officer will report to, work closely with, and receive guidance from the Project Manager to deliver the work effectively within the International Programmes.
What will I be doing?
- Compile and draft programme documentation for internal review, including preparing quarterly and annual progress reports, as well as monthly updates for donors.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring reporting updates from Chapter partners across West and North Africa, and providing Chapter partners programmatic support as needed.
- Assist team members in identifying, tracking, and reporting on results across international programmes, ensuring all information is accurately compiled and stored in a designated location.
- Work flexibly to maintain the efficient delivery of team priorities by undertaking tasks under the guidance of team members/leads, such as supporting where needed with recruitment and onboarding, organising team meetings, and other ad-hoc programme requirements.
- Provide extensive support to fundraising colleagues at TI-UK and International Programmes by conducting research, and/or mapping of fundraising opportunities, compiling insights from past project learnings and impact evaluations, and drafting fundraising proposals as required, under the guidance of team leads.
- Compiling and maintaining a dedicated fundraising kit for the International Programmes, with support from the Project Manager and relevant fundraising colleagues.
Is the job for me?
To be successful in the role you will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Social Sciences, International Development, Management/Business, or related fields.
You will also have some experience and/or proven aptitude and ability to learn quickly in the following professional areas:
- Programme management, project management and/or administration;
- Compiling, following, and managing budgets;
- Coordinating and tracking operational workplans;
- Good initiative and attention to detail
- Conducting fundraising research and compiling insights, drafting fundraising proposals;

The Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) is a partnership of the world's biggest public research funding agencies. The Associate Members have come together to promote research collaboration and to fund research programmes to address the prevention or treatment of chronic non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and mental health issues. GACD specifically focuses on research which will provide essential evidence on the most effective ways to prevent or manage disease in poorly resourced settings in low- and middle-income countries and to improve health equity in underserved indigenous populations.
Reporting to the CEO, the Programme Manager will be responsible for coordination of activities between the Associate Members and lead on the delivery of GACD joint research funding calls in global implementation science on non-communicable diseases.

We have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an exciting new programme, aiming to improve the experience and continuity of hospice care for young people with life-limiting conditions transitioning from children's to adult services.
You will provide clinical leadership of this UK-wide programme, empowering young people, hospices and system partners to overcome the inequities of care experienced by patients and families throughout this transition.
You will become a crucial part of the Programmes Directorate at Hospice UK. This team is responsible for areas of real relevance and importance to our hospices’ membership, including: commissioning support; data, research and evidence; clinical and non-clinical projects; learning platforms: sharing good practice; and a well-regarded and commercially successful portfolio of conferences, including our flagship national conference.
You will bring the clinical leadership needed to deliver this exciting new programme. You will lead our young person’s forum and provide invaluable mentorship to hospices. Supported throughout by our Senior Programme Manager and Team Administrator, you will further develop our Transition Community of Practice and help us collate and share programme data across the sector. You will lead on partnerships and strategic relationships, with Together for Short Lives and other decision-makers across our sector. When representing Hospice UK and our programme externally, you will offer clinical expertise leadership within the field of Transition.
You will have senior palliative care experience, working in the field of transition. You will have led clinical programmes across systems and/or regions, and experience supporting organisations with Quality Improvement projects. You will be an excellent and influential communicator, who embraces working with data while maintaining a strategic overview.

Job Information
As Data Programme Manager, you’ll use your project and programme management skills to successfully deliver projects which improve Hospice UK’s data capabilities. You don’t need to have technical data skills, but you’ll need to be able to guide technical colleagues and third-party IT and data providers.
Your main project will produce a new Member Data Portal, enabling over 200 member hospices to submit data and view insights and analysis that informs their service offer, whilst also providing a national view of hospice care that Hospice UK will use to support member hospices with national campaigning and fundraising.
Alongside this, you will lead data projects that improve our internal performance management. This will involve working with colleagues to gather requirements and develop reporting that supports effective decision making, developing new policies and procedures, and providing training.
Excellent stakeholder management skills will be key to your success. Working with representatives from our member hospices will be vital to the success of the Member Data Portal project. Internally, you’ll collaborate with colleagues at all levels, including the ICT and Data team who will provide technical expertise, and senior managers who will be customers for many of the projects. You’ll also work with external suppliers of technical products and services, including carrying out procurements where needed.
You’ll have great project management skills, which means you’ll be organised, structured and a pragmatic problem solver. Ideally, you’ll have experience of delivering technology, digital or data projects.

The Volunteer Programme Lead will be part of Coin Street’s Youth and Community Programmes Team, reporting to the Community Participation Manager. Coin Street have partnered with Bright Centres, St John’s Waterloo and Oasis Hub Waterloo, who jointly support up to 200 volunteers annually, investing their time and skills to benefit the Waterloo community.
As Volunteer Programme Lead, you will work closely with our four organisations, taking a lead role in recruiting volunteers, and improving systems and processes. You will ensure that volunteers are onboarded, trained and better able to access the broad range of volunteering opportunities on offer. This will include removing barriers to ensure volunteering is inclusive and more accessible for people with disabilities and additional needs.
Specific responsibilities will include: auditing the existing reach and scope of volunteering across the four organisations; developing a rich and varied programme of volunteering activities; identifying and recruiting local people who would benefit the most from volunteering; connecting individuals to opportunities; managing a budget; risk assessments and safeguarding compliance; planning meet ups and events; and monitoring and evaluation. The role
You’ll coordinate Build Up’s year-round programme of youth-led design and construction projects, managing two Construction Project Managers to deliver them. You’ll develop project ideas selected by our young people and support our team to set up strong working partnerships. Role Purpose:
The Regional Head of Programmes & Partnerships will oversee and strengthen the portfolio of education, child protection, and livelihood programming across the region. They will support country programme teams, ensuring technical excellence and high-impact interventions for vulnerable and crisis-affected children. The role will also drive strategic partnerships, business development, and programme quality, fostering growth and innovation while ensuring strong local partnerships and adherence to safeguarding standards.
Specifically, this position will play a critical role in driving business development and programme growth by supporting countries with proposal development needs, funding opportunities, and strategic leverage that align with Street Child’s country-level and global objectives. The role will also contribute to innovative programme design, ensuring high-quality implementation and technical excellence at the country level. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient project cycle management and robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems while upholding rigorous safeguarding standards. Additionally, the role will foster equitable partnerships with local actors, addressing capacity-strengthening needs to enhance programme impact and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership & Technical Support: Oversee programme design, implementation, and quality assurance, ensuring strong technical standards in education, child protection, and livelihoods. Provide technical assistance, coaching, and capacity strengthening to programme teams and local partners. Ensure compliance with donor regulations, safeguarding standards, and financial accountability.
- Business Development & Strategic Growth: Drive regional programme growth by supporting countries in realizing funding opportunities through high-quality proposals. Identify and leverage funding opportunities to expand Street Child’s impact. Develop innovative programme approaches to enhance effectiveness and sustainability.
- Partnership Development & Localisation: Strengthen partnerships with local partners, relevant regional bodies, government agencies, and key stakeholders. Foster equitable collaboration, ensuring compliance with Street Child’s partnership principles. Build local partner capacity in programme implementation, financial management, and donor compliance.
- Advocacy & Representation: Where needed, represent Street Child at regional and international forums to advocate for quality education and child protection in emergencies. Collaborate with networks and stakeholders to influence policy and funding decisions. Communicate programme successes and impact to donors and key stakeholders.
Person Specifications:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the development or humanitarian sector, particularly with education/education in emergencies programming, and child protection and livelihoods. They should have a proven track record with innovative proposal design and program delivery, including implementing project management systems, ensuring programme quality, and making technical assistance available to country teams. Strong analytical thinking skills, applied with creativity and resourcefulness, will be highly valued. Experience of adapting, improvising and building systems in low-capacity environments is of particular interest. The candidate should also have experience and/or interest in working with and supporting local partners to ensure effective implementation and equitable partnerships. Strong coaching and mentoring skills and the ability to lead teams and communicate effectively will be important.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, international development, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Significant experience (8+ years) in programme/project management in the NGO sector, ideally in education, child protection, and livelihoods.
- Experience designing relevant education programmes and building partnerships.
- Proven track record in business development, including successful proposal writing, project design, and donor relations.
- Experience working with local partners and partnership development.
- Familiarity with key institutional donors and UN agencies.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practical experience in implementing safeguarding measures in programmes.
- Experience overseeing MEAL and improving MEAL systems and tools for effective programme evaluation and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Programmes
Support the team in improving logistics, operations, and collaboration with the café team. Ensure seamless integration of internal and external processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Employment Programme
Lead the strategic direction of the employment programme, securing 15+ employer partnerships annually. Monetise the programme, manage contracts and payments, and organise the annual Fair Shot employment network event. Build and maintain a database of employer partners, working with the Marketing Manager on newsletters and engagement. Support graduates and past employers while continuously improving programme growth and sustainability. Represent Fair Shot at career fairs, panels, and events, ensuring strong employer relationships. Programme Link with Fair Shot & Mencap
Bridge communication between the Fair Shot team and Mencap management. Ensure collaboration across departments, keeping all teams informed and involved. Establish feedback loops, communication structures, and regular updates to ensure alignment and programme visibility. The main duties of the role
To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.
- To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
- To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery.
- To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
- To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks.
