About the role

This role is focused on the project management and delivery of our wear it pink campaign. Along with the mass participation manager, this role will play a key part in the planning and execution of wear it pink, with a focus on the design and development of our supporter journeys.
With support from the mass participation manager, you’ll be responsible for building and executing a wear it pink supporter journey that looks to maximise income from our registrants as well as create strong relationships and repeat participation. You’ll also be responsible for other exciting projects throughout the campaign such as the fundraising pack development, content creation and working with teams across the organisation to deliver the campaign.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the world of mass participation fundraising, project management and the charity sector.

About this role
Working in ODI’s Public Affairs and Communications (PAC) department, the Digital Communications Intern will support the digital team with producing and marketing content for ODI’s core digital channels – spanning the website, social media and newsletters.
The internship presents a fantastic opportunity to get experience of working on different aspects of digital communications, with a particular focus on writing and dissemination.
Tasks will include drafting social media posts, helping to produce digital assets, compiling newsletter content, proofreading, and identifying opportunities for content development and promotion. Providing day-to-day support for the digital team, you will also gain hands-on experience of the ODI website’s Content Management System, among other products.
You will have a demonstrable interest in both digital communications, particularly content creation, and global affairs, and use your skills to help deepen the online engagement and reach of ODI’s work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Helping to compile content and draft copy for ODI’s weekly newsletter.
- Supporting with the production and digital marketing of ODI’s fortnightly Think Change podcast – including by proofing transcripts, identifying teaser clips and drafting social media promotion toolkits.
- Drafting social media posts, both for ODI and staff channels (as required).
- Sourcing photos and coordinating the production of digital assets.
- Horizon scanning of external events and news stories, and helping to populate a social media promotion calendar.
- Helping to manage and grow the LinkedIn page for Tandem, ODI’s Global Executive Leadership Programme, including by community management, sourcing content to promote and drafting posts.

Background:
National FASD is dedicated to supporting people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), their families and communities. It promotes education for professionals and public awareness about the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy. National FASD is a source for information on FASD to the general public, press and to medical, social care and educational professionals.
Role purpose:
The organisation is going through a period of growth and needs a proactive, experienced financial/admin coordinator to help us ensure our financial oversight administration runs smoothly and efficiently as we grow the organisation. This person will work closely with our Chief Executive.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with bookkeeper and accountants overseeing accounts, budgeting, financial reporting and management accounts
- Preparing regular financial updates and other documentation for trustees' meetings
- Exploring ways to develop internal financial systems to sustain long-term growth

Location:
We are willing to consider flexible arrangements, for example a split between working in the office and at home, or remote working with regular meet ups scheduled. The national office is based in Ware, Hertfordshire, with on-site parking and within a short walking distance of the train station.

Person specification
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and creative, energised by the idea of contributing to a charity with an important mission. Candidates should be at ease with computers and budgeting, and be ready to work with a team of consultants, colleagues and like-minded organisations to ensure National FASD is implementing best practices financially and administratively with sensitivity for our key stakeholders and under the guidance of our trustees.
Qualifications:
- Preferably at least 3 years’ experience working in a related field, either in paid work or through volunteering
- DBS check is required
Knowledge:
- Experience with FASD (or another neurodevelopmental condition) either through professional experience or lived experience is preferred

About You
You will be a creative, self-motivated, and organised project manager with experience of working within a diverse, target-driven team. With a keen eye for detail and able to manage multiple projects at once, you will have a direct marketing background, ideally within the charity sector.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Highly organised and able to work autonomously with little supervision
- Experience of regular giving programmes (ideally both cash direct debit and weekly lottery products)
- Experience in writing campaign briefs (creative, data)
- An analytical and inquisitive mind, with a keen eye for detail

Lingen Davies Cancer Fund exists to enhance cancer services and improve lives in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales. Founded in 1979, with the aim of bringing cancer services to Shropshire for the first time, our work is now focused in three key areas: cancer prevention and early diagnosis, excellent treatment delivered locally, and living well with and beyond cancer.
Two of our Fundraising Team have recently departed for exciting new projects, and we have taken this opportunity to create some different posts within the team. We really value our relationships with businesses and major donors around the region, and we are very pleased to be recruiting to this role, which will build capacity and focus in this area.
Our Relationship Fundraiser will work closely with colleagues across the charity to deliver excellent supporter care and stewardship, building long term relationships for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. Job Summary
To provide online, in-the-moment clinical supervision and support to trained Volunteers, Clinical Practitioners (CPs) and Qualified Practitioners (QPs) in their text conversations with texters on our UK 24/7 text messaging platform.
Main duties
- Engaging in a non judgemental, collaborative manner with Shout Volunteers and practitioners taking conversations with texters. Ensuring risk and safeguarding concerns are appropriately handled and provide constructive feedback for their growth and development.
- Engage in clinical discussions with fellow supervisors on shift to ensure decision making is in line with Shout policies and solid rationales are built for clinical decisions made.
- Complete administrative work such as maintaining clinical notes, reporting in line with Shout policies when risk to life and safeguarding concerns occur.
- Work collaboratively with fellow supervisors on shift and other members of staff, to ensure optimal use of resources to meet platform demand.
- Take conversations with texters to help manage service demand

- Attend regular external clinical supervision with external personal Supervisor (paid for by MHI) with a minimum of one session per month

Person Specification
Essential criteria
- Psychotherapy/Counselling/Psychology/Mental Health Nursing or Social Work practice qualification
- Accreditation/registration with the BACP, UKCP, BPS, NMC or NZAC, DAPAANZ, or equivalent relevant professional body
- Clinical/professional experience working with risk relating to suicide, self-harm, complex mental health problems and safeguarding
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail

We are looking for a Marketing and Campaigns Officer to be responsible for the marketing across the charity, particularly focusing on the digital channels and campaigns.

The Role
The Marketing and Campaigns Officer is responsible for developing and delivering multi-channel marketing plans, with responsibility for marketing across the charity. This will have a particular focus on digital channels and campaigns, providing copy and strategic direction, but also including marketing of events, products and services. You will collate, analyse and interpret campaign and marketing data to ensure KPIs are met and makes recommendations for future marketing activity. Working closely with the Brand Marketing and Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will liaise with colleagues across the organisation to develop reach through a range of activities.
Main duties include:
- Work with the Brand Marketing & Corporate Partnerships Manager to implement the marketing strategy for the organisation.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development of the charity's communication materials and multimedia products, ensuring they are visually appealing, follow brand guidelines, well written and stimulate interest and action among our target audience, as well as expanding our digital reach. Managing the social media platforms and website will be an important aspect of the role on a daily basis. This role is responsible for providing day to day project support, working with internal stakeholders and managing agency partners to ensure fundraising campaigns deliver. This is an opportunity to work on a huge campaign and play a key role in fundraising for the Children's Cancer Centre.
