About the role
As we embark on a new ten-year strategy, this is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a radical and ambitious approach to partnerships with businesses, building on the successful partnerships we have with Lloyds Banking Group, Specsavers, Taylor Wimpey, Berkeley Homes and many more.
This pivotal role will lead the development of a corporate and commercial engagement strategy across Crisis, growing and deepening our portfolio of corporate partners, broadening their support for our organisation and our cause, and inspiring them to act within their businesses. The role also involves leading the continued development of our fundraising and partnerships outside of London, creating a national support network to end homelessness.
While the role is directly responsible for strategic and corporate partnerships, the post holder will lead across the charity, ensuring a joined-up approach across retail, service delivery (including Crisis at Christmas), brand partnerships, venture philanthropy, investments, and innovation.
The role also involves membership of the Brand, Marketing & Fundraising senior team and the organisation’s Senior Leadership Group, where it plays an important organisation-wide leadership role. Additional investment has recently been made in the team, and senior leadership and the Board have committed to supporting its success.

This is an exciting time to join our Development, Alumni & Campaigns Office, and we wish to appoint an individual who shares our passion for the future of UEA. The Development Officer (Trusts & Foundations) will join a small, dedicated team responsible for securing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant making bodies in the UK and internationally in support of agreed University priorities, including Health-UEA Climate-UEA and various campus projects.
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) you will apply for and manage grants whilst also managing the research of new funding opportunities for the team.
Educated to degree level, or with equivalent relevant qualification or experience, you will have excellent organisational and time management skills; strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; and an aptitude for face-to-face fundraising. The role:
Reporting to the Director of Communication, this role will work closely with the immediate team and effectively across the business and will be responsible for devising and executing impactful internal communication and behaviour change campaigns, in support of key change and inclusion programmes at the Arts Council.
Situated in the Advocacy and Communication team, this new role will collaborate closely with two other groups of internal stakeholders made up of colleagues from across the organisation. One group leads on Transformation programmes for the Arts Council – ensuring they are developing as an organisation fit for the future, from seizing digital opportunities to driving efficiencies; the other group leads on equality, diversity and inclusion work, specifically around putting the recommendations of the recent Inclusion Review. The person:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of change management and internal communication project delivery, ideally with a large national charity or indeed in a local authority, central government, NHS Trust or Higher Education environment. This person will have led on initiatives, possibly EDI related, but most importantly transformation and change, where internal messaging, mobilising forums and staff engagement has been central to success.
An effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, this person will be confident and proactive with excellent attention to detail and will be highly organised. A natural problem solver, this person will also be confident in the use of all MS Office packages, creative design products and database management.

Relationship Fundraiser
1.0 Job Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser plays a crucial role in supporting the Relationship Manager in advancing North Yorkshire Hospice Care’s mission by assisting in the enhancement and management of relationships with individual donors.
The Relationship Fundraiser will assist in identifying potential donors, understanding their motivations, and contributing to tailored engagement strategies. Through these efforts, the fundraiser will help to ensure donors feel valued and connected to the charity's cause.
This role will primarily focus on growing and maintaining various fundraising avenues, including in memory, regular giving, facilitating legacy gifts or bequests in wills, and singular donations. The role aims to maximise opportunities for donor engagement and individual giving.
2.0 Key Tasks
- In-Memorium Fundraising Support: Assist in implementing sensitive and impactful strategies to encourage donations in memory of loved ones, ensuring memories are honoured and families and friends are supported throughout their giving journey.
- Regular Giving Support: Aid in driving the regular giving program to secure a sustainable income stream. This will involve supporting in creating tailored appeals, managing communications, and contributing to enhancing donor satisfaction and retention through regular updates and engagements.
- General Donations Assistance: Provide support in overseeing the process for general donations, maximising the ease and effectiveness of one-time and ongoing contributions. This may include assisting in campaign management, donor acknowledgment, and contributing to leveraging special events and anniversaries to inspire giving.
- Donor Relationship Support: Help build and maintain strong, personal relationships with donors through consistent, thoughtful communication and recognition strategies. Utilise CRM to track donor interactions, preferences, and history to tailor approaches and increase donor engagement.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with the Relationship Manager and other teams within the charity, such as marketing, events, and volunteer management, to contribute to a cohesive and comprehensive fundraising approach.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Assist in evaluating and refining fundraising strategies and processes to optimize donor engagement, retention, and revenue generation.
- Legacy Giving Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for legacy giving both internally and externally. Work with the Relationship Manager on creating internal awareness materials and promoting legacy giving initiatives to external stakeholders.
- Case Study Recruitment: Collaborate with the marketing team on the recruitment of case studies suitable for various areas of work, showcasing the impact of donations and legacy gifts.
- Personalized Stewardship: Maintain strong relationships with supporters through personalised stewardship, adhering to relevant supporter journeys to ensure ongoing engagement and support.
- Reporting: Regularly report against agreed objectives and key performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Legacy Product Promotion: Continuously identify opportunities to promote legacy products across multiple channels to encourage legacy giving.
- Communication with Legators: Communicate with legators and families regarding potential pledges and provide aftercare once a gift in the will has been donated to North Yorkshire Hospice Care.

KR 1: Strengthening Relationships and Collaborations for Effective Fundraising Materials
SM 1:Successfully coordinate with the Relationship Manager and Marketing team to launch a legacy campaign which aligns with Hospice UK’s national campaign, maximising visibility and impact.
SM 2: Execute general donation and regular giving campaigns as outlined in the work plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and achieving the financial year’s budget targets. Collaborate closely with the Relationship Manager and Marketing team to develop compelling messaging and materials for these campaigns.
KR 2: Enhancing In-Memorium (IMO) Fundraising through Community Engagement
SM 1: Strengthen existing relationships and establish new partnerships with funeral directors across the community. Collaborate with them to promote IMO fundraising initiatives and ensure families receive appropriate support and guidance in honouring their loved ones through donations.

About the Role
The Head of Unlawful Detentions is responsible for overseeing Reprieve’s work on unlawful detentions, which comprises detention cases in North East Syria (NES), advocacy work with families of detainees in NES, support to those repatriated from NES, and our Guantánamo and Life after Guantánamo Projects.
Background on Unlawful Detentions Work
Reprieve was one of the very first organisations allowed inside Guantánamo. Since then, we have secured freedom for more than 80 men illegally detained without charge or trial, and we continue to support some of these men through our Life After Guantánamo project.
Reprieve also advocates for the release and repatriation of foreign nationals detained in camps and prisons in NES. We aim to ensure that detained individuals are treated in line with international law, and not subjected to the death penalty, extrajudicial execution, arbitrary detention, torture, or rendition. We also advocate for and support clients and their children after their release from arbitrary detention.
Through our work we aim to challenge and change flawed ‘War on Terror’ narratives and legal and political frameworks – including in the UK, Europe and the US – that engender state-sanctioned discrimination and abuse, undermine the rule of law and human rights, and create two-tiered layers of citizenship rights for ethnic minorities in Western countries.
About You
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies using a dynamic approach in which each of Reprieve’s methodologies—casework, investigation, litigation, political and public engagement, support for and (where possible and appropriate) advocacy with affected communities—connect with one another to achieve positive outcomes in individual client’s cases and address structural rights violations.
You will be enthusiastic about working for an organisation with Reprieve's mission and vision. You will have a minimum of five years’ experience line managing busy and diverse teams. Salary, contract and location
The role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £59,226 per annum less any required deductions for tax and national insurance. Reprieve works across a number of jurisdictions; as such this is a role that may require work outside of core hours from time to time.

About Stema:
Stema is a small Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) founded to advance the education of the public in the field of global health. Our research centres upon community health, positive health, participatory methods and agentic approaches. As part of a fundraising strategy, the successful candidate will develop impact metrics that communicate the value of Stema’s work to potential donors - for example, by tying our impact to the Sustainable Development Goals, which will be familiar to funders. Key Objectives:

Essential Skills:

Experience as a CEO, ideally at a charity or not-for-profit, with commercial and fundraising experience and a strong interest in global health or research; or

Extensive experience at a director-level position in global health or a related field, with client-facing and fundraising experience and professional qualifications such as an MBA.

5 years fundraising experience and a track record of successful resource mobilisation for social impact.

A minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams at a senior level.

Fire Fighters Charity exists to offer personalised, specialist support to the UK’s extensive fire and rescue services community, focusing on health and wellbeing services to ensure they can live healthier and happier lives.
The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with Fire Fighters Charity to recruit their next Director of Fundraising, a key SLT position that is integral to their ambitions to broaden the reach and impact of their work.
As Director of Fundraising you will be responsible for c£8-10m voluntary income, managing a team of c20-28 across all income streams to support long-term sustainable growth and the development of new income streams. With a particular focus on building their high-value fundraising opportunities (across corporate, trusts/foundations and major donors) you will model progressive and inclusive leadership, identify new opportunities to grow voluntary income, and embed a long-term value stewardship culture across the organisation, ensuring donors and supporters feel inspired and compelled by the charity’s impact.
Fire Fighters Charity are currently developing their SLT team and have big plans for the future under the leadership of their new Chief Executive, Sherine Wheeler. This position will be integral to supporting the overall leadership of the organisation, ensuring those ambitions are grounded in robust strategies and delivered with rigour, and further developing new cases for support that enable further income generation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an effective member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping define and deliver organisational strategy and working closely with the CEO/Trustees to impart subject matter expertise.
- Lead the fundraising team to deliver against income targets and maximise new opportunities - developing and implementing an ambitious strategy that allows for supporter growth across regular giving, legacy, trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate and community income streams.
- Take the lead on innovation in the charity's fundraising approach, developing products and offerings whilst considering cost effectiveness and ROI.
- Embed a culture of stewardship across the organisation, ensuring supporters and funding partners are developed with long term support in mind.
- Lead and develop the fundraising team, empowering them to deliver against targets and supporting professional development.
- Establish engagement and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally).
Person Specification
- Experienced senior fundraising leader, with a breadth of skills and expertise developing and implementing successful multi-stream fundraising strategies.
- Focused on supporter journeys and ensuring exceptional stewardship to drive engagement and income across all donor audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management expertise (internal and external) with an ability to build robust relationships and gain support/commitment.
- Evident organisational development skills with the ability to act as an effective member of SLT and contribute to organisational strategy/plans.
- Comfortable acting in the capacity of a charity ambassador, establishing new relationships as a consequence and identifying new funding opportunities.
