Main Purpose of the role:

1. Manage the planning, recruitment and delivery of our Ealing Young Champions Youth Voice project

2. Advocate for and embed youth voice into the work of partners, stakeholders and members and identify new opportunities to develop youth voice and co-production programmes

3. Work with colleagues to set a strategy for embedding co-production in YEF’s organisational practice

Our Activity Service

The Activity Service is an important part of our organisation, delivering high quality activities to the older people of Merton. Our Activity team create and deliver a wide range of activities including a daily lunch club, crafting, poetry, singing and exercises at our centre in Mitcham and other locations across the borough of Merton.

The Activity service is busy and vibrant where no two days are the same, the service has over 10,000 attendees a year, taking part in over 700 activities and exercise classes. The service enables our community to live more healthily, happily and independently in later life.

About the Role

We are recruiting an Activity Coordinator to support the Activity Service Manager in the delivery and development of the Activity service.

The Activities Coordinator will be a hands-on role, working with the team who deliver a wide range of activities both existing and new at our centre and across the borough of Merton.

The role will deputise for the Activities Service manager and has line manager responsibilities overseeing both the team and the delivery of activities. This role will work closely with the volunteers who support the service, building on the current volunteer programme to develop the volunteer role and experience.

The role will play a key part in organising the delivery of existing activities, ensuring they are delivered to an exceptional standard with the service users at the heart of the service.

· Take bookings for all activities and input details on to the CRM.

· Answer telephone enquiries for the Activity centre.

· Greet all clients and volunteers attending the Activity centre.

Data Capture, Evaluation and Reporting.

· Respond to feedback and suggestions from clients to develop activities.

· Keep records up to date on the CRM for attendees of all activities.

· Working with the Activity Service Manager to expand the delivery of activities into areas of the borough not currently served.

· Working with the Activity Manager to develop client feedback opportunities.

· Support the Activity Manager to identify and write up case studies for funding applications.

· Use the CRM to run reports to support funding bids and reporting.

Role Purpose

Bipolar UK have been commissioned by the NHS to deliver a high quality and specialist services across the UK. The Project Manager will assist the services team in increasing engagement and raising the profile of the service through building relationships and delivering services for our NHS partners. This is a varied and exciting role where the post holder will have a real influence on the development of the service. The post holder will take a pro-active lead in building relationships, partnerships, and alliances both internally and externally to increase the number of referrals into the service and ensure services are delivered on time and to a high standard.

This post will be the main contact point for the NHS who are engaging with our services. The project will accelerate referrals and establish pathways with our NHS partners and help grow and develop these partnerships.

You will be a motivated, passionate, organised and proactive communicator, with experience working in project delivery management.  

This is a demanding job, but you will not be on your own. You will be managed by the CEO and work closely with the Bipolar UK’s policy and services teams and all our NHS partners to ensure good outcomes are met.

Working closely with NHS partners to manage the referrals into services and develop strong, long-lasting relationships.

Act as the conduit between the Bipolar UK services team and NHS partners to ensure that projects are delivered on time and in accordance with the framework of our agreed contracts.

Ensure success is measured through good data capture and feedback is given to NHS stakeholders in the form of useful and well formulated reports.

Working with Bipolar UK’s internal teams to help raise the service profile and ensure sufficient promotion and marketing is delivered in order to fill courses and groups and meet the targets laid out by NHS partners.  

Organise and attend community and training events across the county to educate clinicians, promote BPUK services and encourage referrals, including workplace health and wellbeing events, health promotion events, volunteer community fairs, mental health clinics and GP surgeries.

Help to develop and deliver BPUK service offering to the NHS and help to continuously improve and enhance it. Answer requests for information from prospective new NHS partners and present to them the Bipolar UK offering.

Attend local meetings regularly with internal colleagues and NHS stakeholders to ensure the ongoing success and delivery of projects.

The Community Engagement Department enables our student community leaders to gain the knowledge, skills and connections for themselves and their student communities to thrive.  

Working with staff across the Community Engagement Department, the Training Coordinator works closely with the Training Manager to support staff to design and deliver high quality, impactful training for our 3000 student community leaders across 400+ student groups, 1000 student representatives, and our 6 full-time elected Student Officers, among other student communities. 

The Training Coordinator will support specialist staff across KCLSU to design and deliver a range of training spanning the breadth of community leadership, including but not limited to: student group management, event management, facilitation skills, volunteer management, project management, assessing impact, health & safety and safeguarding, effective representation, influencing & campaigning, community organising, protecting student rights, inclusion & accessibility, among others. 

This role forms a crucial element of the KCLSU and KCL Leadership Learning Initiative, a joint project designed to foster leadership skills among students, particularly those from under-represented backgrounds.

- Lead the operational planning and delivery of our student-facing training programmes, including training our student group leaders, our elected sabbatical officers and our academic representatives, among others

We are seeking a Training & Engagement Manager to work across our portfolio of programmes, particularly focusing on Education in the North East of England and our Parental Engagement Programme. Main Role & Responsibilities

As our Training & Engagement Manager, Parents & Education, you will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with particular focus on the education and parental engagement programmes.

You will have responsibility for stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training in the North-East of England (Education) and nationally (Parents). You will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of stakeholders from schools, youth organisations, children’s services to parents and carers.

You will also provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events. You will work with organisations to collate case studies and evidence, supporting the programme's achievements and our overall impact.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
