Who we are
Bipolar UK is the only UK-wide charity focused solely on bipolar. It provides a range of peer support services, raises awareness of the condition and its treatment and campaigns for better services and support. Our research team leads and supports academic and clinical research into the condition and its treatment.
Peer support is at the core of our work. Our integrated service consists of:
- More than 80 support groups for people affected by bipolar, both online and in
- person, facilitated by trained and supported volunteers
- A moderated eCommunity that’s open 24/7, 365 days a year
- 1-1 peer support via phone and email
- Workplace training sessions
- An annual World Bipolar Day conference
- Information and resources on our website
