Key Purpose: As the HR Manager you provide and enable a comprehensive, efficient HR service to the charity, while ensuring legal compliance and best practice, and enabling a positive culture driven by ethics and agreed values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and supporting managers on all RABI employee relations matters, ensuring full compliance with all appropriate legislation and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining positive employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving disputes to promote a positive working culture.
- Management of employee related legal issues, including contracts, terminations and grievances.
- Acting as the preliminary point of contact for the external HR specialist support. such as contracts.

- Leading on the development and improvement of HR policies, KPIs, procedures and initiatives to ensure they are fit for purpose and revised as needed to support changes in legislation and RABI’s strategy.
- Leading the development and implementation of strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager to implement initiatives for employee development, training and career progression.
- Enabling and overseeing the employment journey from selection to offboarding.
- Leading the development of appropriate performance evaluation systems and processes. Providing guidance to managers on performance feedback, coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the charity sector or similar non-profit organisation (minimum two years of managerial experience.)
- Current knowledge of Employment Law and predicted trends.
- Level 5 CIPD or equivalent HR related qualification/HR experience.
- Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude towards all stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a solution-orientated approach.
- Demonstrable ability to uphold the key principles of HR including confidentiality, fairness, integrity, respect.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Possesses a valid UK driving license.
Desirable:
- Level 7 CIPD or equivalent.
- Background in coaching and mentoring.
- Familiarity with farming practices.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support an integrated and holistic approach to education, health and care, work under the direct supervision of an allocated teacher / senior specialist teaching assistant, support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in learning opportunities and to assist the teacher in providing relevant support for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex therapeutic, medical and health needs.

Role Requirements
STL1 – Provide support for Learning Activities set by Classteacher & Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant
- To support learning activities for individual, groups or whole classes of pupils, leading activities under the direction of the teacher or Senior Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher in their delivery of lessons.
- To demonstrate our School Ethos and Pupil Charter throughout the School day.
- Holistically integrate education, health and care needs.
- Evaluate and record procedures for learning activities.
- To know individual learning targets for each pupil in the group(s) and take specific action to enable individual pupil goals be achieved.
- To attend to the general care, maintenance and storage of classroom equipment.
STL 2 – Support Children’s Development
- Observe pupils, sharing observational findings, contribute to the implementation of activities to support development.
- Actively contribute towards record-keeping particularly in respect of pupil learning, therapeutic interventions, behaviour management, child protection and any other specific programme set up for individual pupils by the teacher / Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant / Therapist.
STL 3 – Help to keep Children Safe
- Undertake annual safeguarding training.
- Adhere to the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and policies. Recording incidents pertaining to pupil safety, including for illness, accidents and incidents, accepting that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that ‘it could happen here’.
- Read relevant documentation / mandatory reads in relation to Keeping Children Safe In Education.
- Report any signs and indicators of possible abuse, being sensitive to the child/young person and circumstances, Identifying, report and record changes in behaviour and physical signs.
- Be aware of and follow plans, risk assessments and record keeping pertaining to individual pupils, including care plans, health care plans, feeding plans, moving and handling and behaviour management plans, actively engaging in relevant training and competencies offered to ensure that you are able to support in keeping all pupils in the class safe.
- Ensure safe transport for all pupils in the class for off site visits.
STL 4 – Contribute to Positive Relationships
- Interact with and respond positively and professionally, to pupils and adults, including colleagues, other professionals and parents/ carers at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of a class and wider School and organisational team.
- Actively support change where it is required to improve the teaching, learning and meeting of our pupils needs.
STL 5 – Provide Effective Support for your Colleagues
- Work effectively as a team member, being aware of and providing support to colleagues when needed.

- Support the delivery of appropriate communication, language and literacy as well as the learning targets related to cognition to individuals, small groups and whole classes of pupils, providing accurate support and feedback to the teacher and pupils.

- Use moving and handling methods appropriate to the individual’s condition, your personal handling limits and the equipment available.
- Move and change individual’s positions in ways which minimise pain, discomfort and friction and maximise the individual’s independence, self-respect and dignity.

- Support pupils in the water and assist with swimming and or hydrotherapy programmes.
PDR – Take part in School Staff Development Procedures
- Take part in a performance management programme and work towards specific pupil progress and professional development targets.
- Take part in a staff induction programme, and pursue other training opportunities as agreed with the line manager.
- Take part in staff development days, class team meetings, departmental meetings, whole staff meetings and other occasional meetings held in usual working hours.

The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload. This post will involve the assessment and appropriate treatment of people presenting with mental health problems, working within NHS Talking Therapies. The post holder will be expected to attend regular supervision and may have additional areas of responsibility for clinical service development as required.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and work in various community settings (including GP surgeries) and psychological treatment centres.

Key responsibilities:
Clinical
1. Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service.
2. Conduct assessments and therapy over the telephone, telemedicine and face to face.
3. Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group settings (as agreed)
4. Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
5. Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for people attending the service.
6. Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.
7. Take responsibility for promoting access to the services provided and the delivery of cognitive behavioural therapies in the peripheral settings where the therapist works. For example, therapists working within GP Surgeries will be expected to attend GP Practice meetings and develop and maintain professional relationships with members of the primary care team. They will be expected to promote the service by ensuring that there are readily available promotional material for both members of the public and members of the primary care team.
8. Liaise with other psychological therapy services in order to work jointly to improve provision of psychological services to local residents.
9. Plan appropriate packages of care for each service user. Liaise as appropriate with other professionals within the service and externally to effectively communicate your assessment and facilitate transfer of care to an appropriate professional.
10. Conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant secondary care services and child and adult safeguarding services)
11. Elicit outcome data from people using services and their carers. Use the TALKING THERAPIES IAPTUS system to record clinical contact details, clinical records, outcome data, and passage though the care pathway.
12. Ensure that people under your care are cared for appropriately under the stepped care framework as currently in use within the service.
13. Adhere to the operations manual and other relevant protocols and procedures as directed by your line manager.
14. Take personal (unprompted) responsibility for achieving agreed clinical activity relating to the number of therapy contact hours per week.
15. Actively contribute to and support the integration of clinical governance in the service within your own area of work and contribute to service clinical governance process in a specific area of work under the direction and supervision of a Senior Therapist.
16. Develop an area of enhanced (specialist) clinical work (e.g. PTSD, OCD, Long Term Health Conditions, Perinatal, Eating Disorders, Social phobia etc). It is expected that the areas of specialist work will shift in focus over time to reflect service need and your need to continuing professional development.
17. Carry out clinical audits of aspects of the CBT service as directed, including feedback from people who have used the service, analyse and feedback to the service verbally and in writing.
Training and Supervision
18. Attend clinical supervision in group or individual format within service.
19. Participate in peer supervision with professional colleagues.
20. Develop and engage in your own CPD, including active engagement in and use of clinical supervision of your own therapy.
21. Attend and fulfil all the requirements of the TALKING THERAPIES approved training/ workshops in line with identified professional objectives.
22. Support peer learning through attending and contributing to journal clubs and other in-house service CPD events
23. Once suitable supervision training and experience has been gained, supervise other staff as directed
Professional
24. Ensure that client confidentiality is protected at all times.
25. Co-ordinate and liaise between different staff groups within Mind in Bexley.
26. Support the CBT Service Public & Professional Educational functions by contributing to professional education program under the supervision of senior members of the department.
27. Support the CBT Service Public & Professional Educational functions by delivering interactive psycho-education within a CBT framework to large groups of Service Users under the supervision of senior members of the department.
28. Exercise personal responsibility for the systematic clinical governance of your own professional practice.

The Felix Project is a dynamic, ambitious charity working to make London a city where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted.
We rescue high quality, fresh and nutritious food that cannot be sold from nearly 500 suppliers including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants and delis. We sort and deliver this food to charities, schools and community projects supporting London’s most vulnerable people.This year we expect to rescue 13,000 tonnes of food to redistribute to more than 1,000 London frontline charities and primary schools in every borough of London. The Felix Project is growing fast in response to huge demand. Set up in 2016, we now have around 160 staff working alongside 8,500 volunteers. We have four main operating depots spread across London - in Deptford, Enfield, Park Royal and Poplar. We’re committed to ensuring our different teams work hand-in-hand, so our main hot-desking spaces are built into these depots.
Alongside our large-scale, depot-based operations we have green ‘point-to-point' food redistribution projects in central London and Canary Wharf. In Poplar, we operate a commercial Kitchen which uses surplus food to cater for up to 5,000 individual meals per day.
Purpose of the Job
The People Administrator will manage all staff recruitment and operations at The Felix Project. You will support the hiring managers through all stages of the employee life cycle and will ensure this process is both rigorous and streamlined. You will also manage and support our HR administration systems and will act as first point of contact for day-to-day staff issues. Working closely with the Head of People you will help introduce improvements to our systems and administration processes.

About the Service
The Crisis Centre and rest of Nightlight Services (Café’s, Helpline, Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis cafes and 24/7 Crisis Centre. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.
As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.
About the Role
This role is managing a shift, delivering emotional support within a 24/7 four bed crisis house.
Alongside other Crisis Centre Coordinators, to be a key member of the Crisis Centre team, providing effective operational leadership delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Centre Service. You will be ensuring the delivery and development of quality crisis support services and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision. You will provide management support to Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and support the Crisis Centre Team Leader in ensuring practice within the service is safe, effective and person centred.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing emotional support and developing, alongside service users, flexible and realistic crisis support/person-centred plans within agreed guidelines with support from the leadership team (including assessments of need, risk, crisis support plans and review forms) in person or via telephone.
- Draw upon own lived experience as appropriate to inform the delivery of person centred support.
- Providing immediate advice and information to clients to support with crisis presentations.
- Liaise with Nightlight management and external services e.g. police, ambulance service, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, Single Point of Access, Safeguarding Out of Hours Service, Mental Health Liaison Teams, Adult Community Mental Health Services etc. as needed in terms of accepting referrals and proactively recognising the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitating appropriate support.
- Complete appropriate signposting/onward referrals to both internal and external services in accordance with identified needs and risks.
- Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standards at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements.
- Arranging transport for service users to facilitate access to services as needed.
- You will line manage a number of Crisis Centre Mental Health Support Workers and be part of the operational management for the Nightlight Crisis Centre.

AIMS / PURPOSE OF THE POST

MAIN DUTIES
The Services Coordinator is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

Working arrangements

Main Responsibilities

As a Team Administrator, you will be responsible for efficient completion of all administrative tasks of our Service Improvement & Transformation Team. You will work closely with the Head of Service Improvement & Transformation, the Programme Lead, the Lead Research Nurse, and Project Managers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Your role will include assisting in the preparation of proposals, reports, and other communications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is received prior to Committee meetings. You will also accurately review, process, and approve grant applications for our Care Centre & Network, Community Service Programme, and Research Nurse Network, ensuring compliance with our Guidance Policy. You will need to identify requests that should be treated as exceptions and escalate appropriately.
In managing support grant payments, you will handle tasks such as checking and authorising invoices, dealing with invoice queries, raising purchase orders, and maintaining precise records. Additionally, you will record actions and minutes from team meetings when required and ensure that all correspondence and actions are accurately logged in our CRM database.

What are we looking for?
An organised and detail-oriented individual with strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Experience with CRM databases is essential.
You should be capable of managing and prioritising your workload effectively, even in a busy environment. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this role.
Strong communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner, are a must. You should possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities, with the tact and diplomacy to persuade, influence, and appropriately challenge.
A proactive approach to work and problem-solving is vital. Knowledge of relevant GDPR legislation and the ability to work within its guidelines are also required.

Since its inception, the National Saturday Club has evolved into a nationwide movement offering free extracurricular education. Our programme places young people at the heart of a vibrant network of world-class professionals from education, the cultural sector and industry, all of whom are dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential. In recent years we have expanded our network from 74 Saturday Clubs in 2021 to over 100 in 2024, with a target of 140 by 2025-26 and an ambition to reach 180 clubs by 2026-27. To meet the demands of this growth, we have also doubled our staff, with a team of 20 this year. This new role of COO will be responsible for finance, data and IT, risk management, legal, HR and culture and premises, including oversight on all operational areas including health and safety, and safeguarding You will also provide focused financial and operational long-term planning, strategic leadership and, as we grow, cultivate a culture that reflects our values and is rooted in equity, diversity and inclusion.
