What You’ll Be Doing:
- Produce monthly property management accounts, annual budgets and 5-year plans

- Design and implement Capital Project Accounting and Reporting process (against budget and financial plan)
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register
- Post year-end journals, prepare property notes to the accounts
- Finance lead for working groups/committees for large restricted capital projects (advise, report, provide financial information).

Who We’re Looking For:
Essential
- Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA (or other accredited higher accounting qualification)
- 3-5 years experience in management and financial accounting in a charity sector
- Practical accounting, general ledger maintenance, control and other account reconciliation experience

Role Details
Title: Head of Skilled Volunteering
Time Commitment: Full time role (4 days a week may also be considered)
Format: Hybrid - remote and in-person (at least 2 days in the London office (Battersea) in-person per week and ability to travel to different parts of London regularly for meetings and events)
Salary: £34,500 full time salary

Role Duties & Responsibilities
Programme Management
- Oversee the day-to-day work of the Skilled Volunteering team including implementation plan, workflow and target realisation

RESPONSIBILITIES
We expect to recruit from our members and from the community of those who stammer or those who support people who stammer (speech & language therapists, family and friends).
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead.
- Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
- Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for volunteers and ensure processes comply with the charity’s values
- Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.
- Support and recruit volunteer community leaders for our groups and networks; work with them to aim for consistent quality across the groups experience and develop an online training programme for leaders. Longer term, put a funding case together to support a training weekend for community leaders.
- Keep records on which community groups are active and identify areas of need and feedback mechanisms.
- Work with Content & Communications Lead to produce regular mailings and volunteer recruitment campaigns.
- Keep up to date with legislation, best practice and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes.
- Maintain the database of volunteers and ensure all volunteers are registered members.
- Manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses.

This is a hybrid role, and all staff are expected to attend team meetings, held in London, every 6-8 weeks.

The Role:
As an IT Service Local Delivery Analyst you'll be providing local IT systems support, training and advice to SNG colleagues and will be responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the organisation's devices, infrastructure and applications.
You'll ensure that our IT support tickets are resolved as efficiently and effectively as possible. This role will provide support for end user computing across all SNG locations. Acting as an escalation point for the central IT service delivery team as well as providing local hands-on support for the wider CIO teams.

What we need from you:
As an IT Service Local Delivery Analyst you'll need to have a high level of customer focus and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies.
You will need experience of working on an IT Service Desk or in a Technical team and be able to communicate with our customers in person, by telephone, webchat email or digital assistant.
A Service Desk/Customer Service oriented certificate such as ITIL v3 or v4 Practitioner would be an advantage.

About the role
As our Events and Marketing Administrator, you'll be at the heart of coordinating the bookings, sales, marketing, and operations of De Morgan House Conference Facilities. We estimate the role to be approximately 75% focused on sales and marketing activities and 25% on hands-on event support. What You'll Be Doing:
1. Conference Facilities (Sales):
- Engage with Clients: Respond promptly to enquiries, manage bookings, and ensure seamless event coordination.

2. Conference Facilities (Marketing):

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Dementia UK’s IT team as our IT Vendor and Service Integration Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end vendor management process, ensuring seamless integration of external services with our internal IT operations.
Acting as the primary liaison between outsourced service providers and internal IT teams, you will ensure alignment with organisational objectives, maintain service quality, and optimise the value derived from vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for ensuring that contract obligations are consistently met.
You will coordinate across IT Operations, IT Applications/Data, and directorate technology-dependent teams to resolve issues that span multiple domains, ensuring the smooth integration of services between internal and external providers. A key aspect of the role will involve monitoring and reporting on vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs, providing regular comprehensive updates to the Deputy Director of IT. In addition, you will oversee contract management for all outsourced IT services, negotiating amendments and renewals to secure the best value for the organisation.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, along with a strong background in IT supplier and budget management. You will bring demonstrable experience in managing complex outsourcing relationships, coupled with strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will also have a strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices, along with substantial experience in IT vendor management or service delivery roles.
