POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs Accounts Payable function; processes transactions in the accounting system and maintains accounts payable files for vendors. Primary point of contact for questions and assistance regarding entry and payment of invoices.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
· Subject matter expert on Unit 4 ERP System Vendor Master File and accounts payable, provide support to other Internews staff also entering invoices.
· Prepare and enter multi-currency invoices for all payment methods (Barclays wire Transfers, ACH, check, FX, Western Union, etc.), including review for proper coding and approvals.
· Review and research open payables to resolve outstanding issues prior to payment.
· Process recurring remittances according to corporate schedule, including payment of invoices entered by others.
· Processing payments and Provide payment confirmations to appropriate parties as necessary.
· Maintain AP vendor master records in accounting system.
· Organize and maintain A/P files.
· Research vendor payment history in response to queries from Internews staff and others.
· Cross trained as backup staff to other department functions, including PSC payment processing and expense reimbursements and AP mailbox cover.
· Support of commitment accounting and purchase order monitoring
· Maintain Asset Register incl Additions and Disposal, Monthly Depreciation calculation and posting the journals into the accounting system.
· Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Payroll and Bank Reconciliations before month-end close.
· Debtor and Creditor reconciliations and Advances (Cards) before month-end close
· Processing and posting Prepayments before month-end close.
· Income & Expenditure Recording in the accounting system
· Proving support during Statutory and Donor Audits
· Fixed Asset Management.
· Understanding of and demonstrated commitment to upholding Internews Core Values.

Qualifications:
· 3+ years progressively complex accounting experience
· Proven ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.

· Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· Proven ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.

Deliver high quality community events

This is an exciting role within an established and expanding service across West Mercia. There are a number of varied, practitioner roles that are set to increase. We are currently looking for a Exploitation Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
This role will support young people at risk of criminal exploitation or entering the criminal justice system; at an early intervention level. This will be through 1-1, direct work and support in accessing positive diversionary activities, therefore reducing the risk. It will also require excellent mutli-agency work.
This role is for people with a passion in supporting vulnerable young people on a 1-1 basis, in raising their aspirations, building their confidence, working together with professionals to ensure the most appropriate, robust and holistic support is offered to meet each individual's needs. A key part of this role will be your ability to positively impact the lives of Children and Young people.
You will need to be able to engage with professional colleagues also, have presentation skills, and be able to bring people together around mutual goals.
Although the contracts are home based, there will be a lot of daily travel across Telford or Shropshire area. Although there is no specific office base, you will be part of a geographically based team and will be well supported by the management team and all of your colleagues.

AIMS / PURPOSE OF THE POST

MAIN DUTIES
The Services Coordinator is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

The Role
You will lead on the development of the strategic priority for the charity to live and breathe co-production, which includes work on cultural change within the organisation. You will empower people with lived experience of mental health problems to unitise their expertise to improve the way mental health services are developed, reviewed and delivered through co-production and involvement, along with leading on the work of the Co-Production Advisory Group and ensure the growth and training of its membership.

You will thoroughly understand approaches and best practices around involvement and co-production, and challenges and strategies to engage and empower people who often don’t have the opportunity for their voice to be heard. You will be confident and resilient, with the ability to work with and lead on aspects of the strategy delivery and will bring with you passion, energy, and enthusiasm.

Overall purpose of the role
- Lead the production for the monthly management accounts
- Lead on the preparation of the annual reports and financial statements
- Manage the financial activities for both Royal Trinity Hospice and Trinity Hospice Shops Limited
- Be the super user (System Administrator) for the financial software and continuously improve/develop use of the systems and processes to support the financial activities of the Hospice
- Support the Director of Finance & Resources in other areas of work including risk management, Information Governance as well as deputise in their absence
Skills and experience required
- CCAB membership – Fully qualified
- Good technical knowledge of accounting concepts for large charities/organisations
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite
- Advanced excel user to support processes and financial models
- Experience of preparing and analysing complex financial information
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of working in the charity sector and or understanding of charity taxation (VAT and Gift Aid)

Your role
As our new parent adviser you’ll join our wonderful team in Wales as part of our Building Resilience Project.
In this part time, home-based role, you’ll have the opportunity to support and mentor parent carers, helping them develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are best for their families. You’ll also help create and deliver well-being workshops for parent carers to empower, inform, and reduce their stress and help increase their confidence so they are able to access the benefits they are entitled to. And you’ll work in partnership with money advice organisations across Wales, to set up referrals for parent carers to make sure they get all the financial support they need.
What we’re looking for
- Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children in Wales.
- Ability to support and mentor parent carers to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions that are right for their families.
- Experience in creating, facilitating, and delivering workshops
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.
- Knowledge of issues relating to maximising income, accessing financial support, benefits, and other financial issues.
- Good communication, time management, and networking skills.

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.
This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need it. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country.
Climb are an Prevention and Early Intervention Service for 10-17 year old's who may vulnerable to criminal exploitation and/or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. We offer 1-1 outreach support and access to positive diversionary activities in their local areas.
This is an exciting role within an established and expanding service across West Mercia. There are a number of varied, practitioner roles that are set to increase. We are currently looking for a Exploitation Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
This role will support young people at risk of criminal exploitation or entering the criminal justice system; at an early intervention level. This will be through 1-1, direct work and support in accessing positive diversionary activities, therefore reducing the risk. It will also require excellent mutli-agency work.
This role is for people with a passion in supporting vulnerable young people on a 1-1 basis, in raising their aspirations, building their confidence, working together with professionals to ensure the most appropriate, robust and holistic support is offered to meet each individual's needs. A key part of this role will be your ability to positively impact the lives of Children and Young people.
You will need to be able to engage with professional colleagues also, have presentation skills, and be able to bring people together around mutual goals.
Although the contracts are home based, there will be a lot of daily travel across Telford or Shropshire area. Although there is no specific office base, you will be part of a geographically based team and will be well supported by the management team and all of your colleagues.
