The charity funds vital medical equipment, provides family support services, and enables staff training and education. At Cosmic the Service Delivery Manager role will be pivotal in enhancing collaboration between Cosmic and NHS units across two hospital sites. This newly created role focuses on managing critical service delivery projects and campaigns.

Key responsibilities include building relationships within the PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), promoting Cosmic’s mission, and managing health campaigns and projects. The postholder will also implement data metrics to assess service impact and report findings to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience in stakeholder engagement, and a knack for data analysis. This role offers the opportunity to work with a small but very supportive and motivated team at a crucial and exciting time of growth.

Tender works with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. We enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have identified core audiences we are seeking to engage more proactively and more consistently to both spread the message of our work and to influence public policy and statutory commissioning decisions. We are now looking for a Communications Manager to drive this work and establish our position as an influential, informed and powerful voice for change.

You will work closely with the Development Director to develop and implement a cross-organisational communications strategy to maximise our reach and brand awareness amongst core audiences, leading in turn to increased funding and an impact on statutory and policy approaches to preventing VAWG. You will line manage our Senior Communications Coordinator and collaborate closely with the senior leadership team (SLT), who lead on our policy and influencing work. You will also support the Development team to better engage current and potential supporters and funders.

Bridging the gap between senior leadership and delivery, you will be a confident and strategic thinker, but remain excited by the challenge of getting stuck in. You will be comfortable supporting colleagues to deliver activity as well as working independently on your own projects. You will have the knowledge and experience to ensure that the right policies, frameworks and plans are in place for our small team to achieve ambitious plans.

The main purposes of the Communications Manager role are:

• Developing, leading and implementing Tender’s communications strategy, focusing on supporting our fundraising and building engagement with key audiences
• Accountability for Tender’s organisational profile, building profile and engagement through content creation with key strategic audiences, including the website, social media, and print and online marketing materials
• Accountability for the development and management of Tender’s own media channels, ensuring a consistent user experience and organisational voice

Line Manager: Director of Communications and Engagement

Line Management Responsibilities: No line management. The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining management of freelancers, agencies and partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

Communications campaign development and management:

• Develop and project manage a programme of integrated communication campaigns that grab attention and encourage action across rewilding practice, policy and fundraising.
• Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to develop aligned messaging and campaign assets and to deliver these across owned, earned and paid channels.
• Lead on the creation of compelling campaign assets and content (e.g. polls, petitions, online actions and campaign toolkits).
• Manage campaign timeframes and budgets seeking a good, quantifiable return on investment.
• Gather and present audience insight to inform our campaigns and ensure our campaigning work is evidence led.
• Set and measure campaign KPIs, conduct campaign de-briefs and write campaign evaluations, encourage a culture of testing and learning and growing our campaigning approach.

• Organise, plan and deliver our involvement at online and in person events that will help to encourage action across rewilding practice, policy and fundraising (e.g. exhibition stands at party political conferences or corporate fundraising events).
• Design, deliver and project manage cross-organisational communication activities which will raise the profile of Rewilding Britain (e.g.World Rewilding Day, anniversary events).
• Support the Catalyse, Influence and Fundraising teams with the communication requirements for events (e.g. Rewilding Network conferences, fundraising dinners, panel debates, report launches).

Cross-functional collaboration:

• Work closely with the Catalyse, Influence and Fundraising teams to integrate campaign efforts and identify the relevant campaign issues, priorities and opportunities for influencing policy, fundraising and Network membership growth.
• Support the broader Communications and Engagement team to implement strategically aligned locally focused communications activities, projects and events for England, Scotland or Wales.
• Collaborate with freelancers, consultants, agencies, volunteers, supporters, and stakeholders to amplify our communications and campaigns reach and impact.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

The role is a full-time, 5-day-week (35 hours) position.

The salary is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum depending upon experience.

There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

This team helps Breaking Barriers maximise the value of its data, by conducting analysis and managing the CRM (Salesforce) and related software.

The team works across all areas of the organisation to improve processes, unlock efficiencies through automation and generate insights from data. They ensure that data is utilised to inform any innovations or refinements to our services.

The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial manager with a high level of data literacy. We are looking for someone strategic, highly organised and a strong people and team manager. They will be confident at communicating data in a variety of ways to a large range of audiences, identifying key take-aways and the broader implications of the findings on our clients and programming. They will also be able to train others in key data analysis and communication skills.

Better Cotton is seeking a dynamic data analytics professional to join its Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team. Successful candidates will be skilled at analysing data on agricultural practices, field results and programmes, as well as adept at transforming analyses into clear visualisations with concise explanations. The MEL Data Insights and Visualization Manager will assist in compiling data from different sources and different teams, transforming, cleaning, validating, analysing data and promoting its insights though dynamic dashboards using Power BI and creating reports to disseminate learnings to our stakeholders (which range from farmers, programme partners close to the field to textile brands). The MEL Data Insights and Visualization Manager will report to Head of MEL inside the Standards and Assurance Team. We are a large sustainability standard in the middle of big transformations (moving from a voluntary standard to a certification scheme, new legislations to adapt, increased consumer demands). Data plays a key role in informing our progress towards our targets.

• Oversee, support and perform effective and accurate analysis of farm-level results data, reach data, practice adoption, programme activities… among other datasets.
• Create tools for analysis and reporting with Power BI and other tools adapted to range of stakeholders with different goals and backgrounds

Line Manager: Digital Communications Lead

Your responsibilities will include:

Social media delivery and community management

• Plan and deliver inspiring and effective social media content, including as part of engagement campaigns, fundraising appeals and initiative launches, and in support of our partners and members.
• Produce text- and video-/graphic-based social media posts and campaigns that are both suited to our target audiences and adapted for the most appropriate social channels.
• Carry out community management across the charity's digital channels, triaging queries and drafting responses.

Email communications

• Assist with the AB testing of our email marketing and executing a plan of continuous improvement for our emails.

• Collate statistics on the performance of our social and email channels, in line with our KPIs, and work closely with the Digital Communications Lead to make ongoing recommendations for our output.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

About EFA

English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)  classes for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 400 adult migrants across London. We’ve become a national centre of good practice for a radical participatory approach to ESOL, informed by the work of Paulo Freire, and we share this approach through training, research and partnerships. 

Organisation: We are a staff team of 8 people supported by a larger team of volunteers and 9 trustees. EFA promotes shared leadership and collaboration and we aim for our organisational structure to reflect this. In the last 4 years we’ve transitioned away from having a CEO to an executive team to oversee operations and decision-making. As a charity, ultimate responsibility for, and control of, the organisation lies with the Board of Trustees. 

Fundraising at EFA: We have one permanent fundraiser at EFA, who works two days per week on this area of work. Hours

22.5 hours a week, office hours, with occasional evening and weekend work to meet operational requirements.

Reporting line

The Digital Communications Officer will report to the Head of Fundraising and Communications.

Salary: £17,955 per annum (£29,255 FTE) at 3 days a week plus benefits (3% employer contribution towards pension, 25 days annual leave (FTE) per annum (plus public holidays), Employee Assistance Programme, access to Medicash health insurance and critical illness cover.)
