Who we are

Cosmic supports the work of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith. We fund vital equipment, staff training, research, and support services for patients and their families.

Here are just a few of the things that we have been able to achieve: 

• Purchased over £2,000,000 of life saving equipment, the NHS is unable to fund 
• We have spent over £500,000 on ground-breaking research into paediatric health. 
• Raised £1.5 million to create Cosmic House – onsite accommodation for families in intensive care
• Funded incubators for babies in intensive care.
• Provided hundreds of hours counselling for families and frontline staff
