The Primary Care Network (PCN) Cancer Care Coordination Service provides an improved experience for patients beyond their interactions with clinical services. Working within a network of GP surgeries, we support both patients and clinicians, contributing to the overall holistic approach to supporting those living with cancer. This integrates the ‘beyond medicine’ approaches offered by the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) into the cancer pathway. This post is an exciting opportunity to work with Nottingham City’s PCN 8 (Clifton and Meadows). Using the Macmillan Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment to support Cancer Care Reviews will ensure patients have access to the right support for all their non-clinical needs. Job Purpose and Objectives
- Work in partnership with the practice staff, inclusive of link workers to ensure referral pathways are clear and criteria for accessing the Gateway is understood.

IcFEM Dreamland Mission is a Christian charity set up to help fund and support the work of IcFEM in
Kenya. We had been running for almost 20 years with volunteers
running a home-based UK office. Three years ago we employed staff in the UK for the first time. We
currently have income of £350k- £400k a year depending on the projects running. IcFEM Kenya is a
locally run organisation based at Kimilili in Western Kenya. IcFEM Kenya runs community projects as
well as a school and hospital. The past five years has seen our work grow significantly, including the
school and hospital which have developed into large institutions that are valued by the community
in Kimilili and fit well into the local government set up.
We are looking for an individual who is ambitious to see our ministry grow and is experienced at
blending trust in God with human endeavour.
We are seeking an Operations Manager who has experience of the charity sector and is prepared to
be flexible and adaptable to the needs of this small charity. There is the potential for flexibility within
this role and we would be willing to discuss a variation in hours worked. Some occasional evening or
weekend work will be needed, and occasional travel to Kenya is an important part of the role,
particularly to build relationships with the Kenyan team.

Job description
Governance and legal compliance
➢ Review and keep updated UK policy and procedure documentation, writing new policies
where necessary to encompass latest regulations
➢ Regularly review the Safeguarding policy, and risk assessment, with the Trustee who leads
on safeguarding
➢ Work with the Treasurer and Secretary to ensure compliance and deadlines for Charity
Commission
➢ Review “new volunteer” and “new staff member” packs to ensure they meet the legal
requirement of the Charity Commission and all data protection policies
➢ Ensure all staff and volunteers hold correct documentation such as DBS certificates
➢ Ensure compliance with all regulatory authorities and regularly report on these to the
Trustees

Finance and administration
➢ Manage the charity income and donations, including processing of cheques, bank transfers
and donor management system to acknowledge donations

Job summary
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Education Coordinator, passionate about community-based learning to join our small and friendly team. The Education Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery and development of all aspects of the work of the adult and family learning programme and will have the opportunity to develop other provision at the centre. Our adult learning programme supports over 250 local adults each year through a range of programmes designed to improve their English language, digital and maths skills and increase their employability and involvement in the community. Our family learning programme supports over 200 children with online after-school classes in Maths, English and Science. You would also be responsible for coordinating 6 teachers remotely to deliver weekly online after-school classes for Year 3 to Year 9 in all three subjects. We also deliver a range of informal family learning provision across our Family Programme services to over 1000 users, and some of these programmes may be included in our Adult Education offer and so you will be required to support with the administration of these activities.
The Education Coordinator will be based at our centre at 2 Thorpe Close W10 5XL and will have responsibility for working with the heads of departments, tutors and education administrator, to plan and deliver the learning programme. The successful candidate will have a full UK teaching qualification in the Further Education sector, and delivery of FSE/ESOL at various levels would be desirable; have excellent leadership and inter-personal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; be highly organised and efficient.
The salary is £33,500 per annum and in addition to bank holidays we offer 25 days’ annual leave, additional Christmas time leave, a pension scheme, cycle to work scheme and a comprehensive training programme.
The employment is subject to a probational period of twenty-six weeks from your start date of employment with Nova, during which time you will be required to demonstrate to the leadership team’s satisfaction your suitability for the position in which you are employed.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Isle of Wight. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme at HMP Isle of Wight, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison-based.
