How Will You Make a Difference? 

Amna is seeking a compassionate and experienced Arabic speaking facilitator to join Amna’s team of trainers, with therapeutic/clinical background. As a Trainer & Facilitator your responsibilities will involve delivering training sessions and group facilitation to support and create learning spaces for training participants on themes centred around trauma and identity informed psychosocial healing care with displaced communities. The role holder is expected to work on multiple responses, and will lead Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, while working closely with Arabic speaking team members.  

Amna’s identity and trauma informed approach is centred around community healing practices with communities that aim to restore participants sense of safety, belonging, agency and joy. Amna services are co-created with the communities being worked with and we prioritise refugee participation and leadership in service design and delivery wherever possible. 

The role holders need to have experience working with communities affected by adversity, including displacement, war and conflict, poverty, abuse or marginalisation. Given the nature of Amna’s work in emergency settings with displaced communities, applicants need to be comfortable working in environments where there is uncertainty, change and exposure to distress.  

Specifically, successful candidates will have a strong experience in following areas: 

1. Work with children and families in an emergency context; 

1. Therapeutic experience – Individual and Groups; 

1. Community work experience; 

1. Designing and delivering trainings across different context; 

Amna will train role holders in Amna’s training and facilitation approach.

Responsibilities include: 

• To deliver high quality, interactive trainings in person and online.   

• To lead on Amna’s Gaza and Syria responses, working closely with a diverse, cross-cultural team and partners.  

• To develop Amna’s training materials including engaging content, structure, visuals and activities.  

• To provide ongoing support to Amna’s training participants from a range of countries on how to set up safe, community healing spaces with displaced communities.

• To facilitate learning and support groups for Amna training participants.   

• To coordinate the preparation and delivery of in person and online trainings.  

• Outside of Amna’s trainings, to maintain engagement with Amna’s training participants to share and exchange learning.

  Qualifications and Experience:  

• Minimum three years of experience working therapeutically with communities affected by adversities. 

• Minimum three years of experience delivering therapeutically informed community programmes in emergency or acute contexts using creative tools. 

• Experience working in a therapeutically informed way, e.g. working with sensitivity to the needs and experiences of the communities worked with.   

• Comfortable working in English – spoken and written.  

• Comfortable in designing and delivering content in Arabic.

• Confident computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.  

• Able and willing to travel for work (if you have travel restrictions to some countries, please notify us in your application).

• Right to work in the country of residency.  

Desirable: 

• Life or work experience with refugee or/and displaced communities.

Frazzled is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE, that provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where people who are feeling frazzled and overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life can meet on a regular basis to talk and share their personal stories. 

We run our free meetings online every single day of the year for anyone who needs them, and anyone can book and be included to talk, share, listen and to feel heard.

As part of our exciting plans for growth, we are seeking a Fundraising Lead to drive the organisation’s fundraising to fulfil our mission and play a key role in supporting the next phase of Frazzled’s growth and development. 

You will be responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious fundraising strategy with a range of fundraising activities focusing primarily on trusts and foundations but also individual donors, corporate partners and fundraising campaigns.

This is an exciting, creative and flexible opportunity for the right person. The ideal candidate is someone with a demonstrable successful track record in fundraising, alongside the skills of a talented and persuasive communicator and relationship builder. MAIN TASKS

Fundraising

• Lead on developing and delivering an annual fundraising strategy to support our ambitious plans for growth, securing a minimum of £250k per year from Trusts and Foundations, individual donors, fundraising events and campaigns, and corporate partnerships. 
• Research and generate a pipeline of funding applications, including multi-year grant opportunities from Trusts and Foundations
• Lead on writing compelling applications and conversations with funders, talking persuasively and informatively about Frazzled’s work and impact
• Work with the CEO and trustees to develop new relationships with individual donors and strengthen partnerships with existing supporters
• Work with the CEO and Head of Training and Programmes to develop new opportunities for corporate sponsorship and partnerships

• Lead on Frazzled’s annual Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign and identify any other fundraising campaign opportunities throughout the year, with support from the Project Support and Administration Officer

Do you want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with supermarkets, volunteer recruitment channels and venues to enable this to happen. Partnership is fundamental to our way of working. We are second-tier organisation focusing on the continuous improvement of service models, sharing best practice and supporting specialist service providers to deliver. 

 We have three core strands of work: 

The Drive Project is our flagship intervention working with high-harm, high-risk and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse to prevent their abusive behaviour and protect victims. The Drive Project challenges perpetrators to change and works with partner agencies – like the police and social services – to disrupt abuse. It is currently being delivered in 9 police force areas. 

Restart is an innovative pilot project providing earlier intervention for families experiencing domestic abuse. It brings together domestic abuse services, children’s social care and housing teams to identify and respond to patterns of domestic abuse at an earlier stage. Restart is currently being delivered in five London Boroughs.  

The Drive National Systems Change programme works across the domestic abuse specialist sector, public sector partners and beyond to develop sustainable, national systems that respond to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.  We identify systemic gaps and build solutions that keep survivors safer by addressing those causing harm.

Background for the role

In April 2021 the Domestic Abuse Act received Royal Assent. The Act introduces a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Notice (DAPN) to provide immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident, and a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) to provide flexible, longer-term protection for victims. DAPOs can impose both prohibitions and positive requirements on perpetrators. Positive requirements can be in the form of interventions aimed at reducing and managing risk, meeting the needs of an individual (for the factors that are not the causation of abuse but impact on risk e.g. mental ill health, substance misuse) and behaviour change interventions.

We were commissioned by the Home Office to design a triage model that will assess individuals for the suitability of these interventions, this triage model launched in November 2024 and will be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.

 Purpose:   

The DAPO Service Manager will manage the operational, and strategic delivery of the DAPO team pilot working closely with the Practice and Development Lead and Programme Manager.

The postholder will have responsibility for managing all DAPO triage teams who are working locally and remotely in the DAPO pilot sites.

This role will require 

a) the effective line management of Triage Team Leaders (who in turn manage triage workers and IDVAs), in providing a high-quality frontline service triaging DAPO referrals for positive requirements

b) the development and maintenance of a multi-agency infra structure that actively engages with the triage team and the triage process 

c) working with the Practice and Development Lead and Programme Manager to ensure safe and effective delivery of the DAPO pilot triage process. 

d) support the development of the DAPO triage model through learning and analysis of the pilot delivery e.g. to initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols, and to keep safety central to all services for perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse.

 Job Description 

 Job purpose 

You will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of the organisation. Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all financial systems are implemented effectively while ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. In addition, you will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining a functional and safe office environment in accordance with employment and health and safety laws.

 Financial:

 Accounts Payable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable activity to support the organisation's short-term obligations owed to its creditors or suppliers, including but not limited to: 
• Utilise cloud-based software to manage supplier invoice activity.
• Dealing with external creditor and supplier queries. 
• Assisting the Finance Manager with supplier contract renewals.
• Manage and reconcile expense activity across all business cards utilising cloud-based software where appropriate. 
• Resolve accounting discrepancies.

Account Receivable

• Manage the day-to-day accounts receivable activity between the organisation and its clients, customers, and donors, including but not limited to: 
• Process all incoming post and utilise the CRM database to record any fundraising income.
• Ensure cheques are deposited weekly in accordance with finance policy and procedures.
• Ensure accurate billing for goods or services, not including those related to healthcare.
• Reconcile incoming payments against all invoices. 

 Month End and Period End

• Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts by performing activities including but not limited to:
