About us

Who we are

Sandy Bear are a charity working across Wales supporting children, young people and families who are facing or have experienced a bereavement of someone special to them. We deliver our provision through 1:1, family and peer group support.

We also offer information, advice and signposting where relevant, and we offer support to organisations and people supporting those who have been bereaved through our training offer.

Our culture and values

Our volunteers and staff have a strong affinity to our work as they see the huge impact and outcomes we achieve. We work collectively to ensure each child is supported according to their individual needs and with our core values where we strive to be: Supportive, Compassionate, Professional, Open and Respectful.
