This essential role involves managing the day-to-day logistics of our Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children and Young People in Schools. The position requires close collaboration with the Programme Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure smooth programme delivery. Key responsibilities include scheduling, venue booking, resource management, customer engagement and maintaining accurate data.

Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind have developed and delivered music-based interventions for children and young people in a number of schools and community settings throughout our 3 boroughs. Our music programme is designed to offer a different route into mental health support. We are looking to deliver and enhance this delivery and expand our music-based offer.
Job Summary
The role includes:
- Using your skills to develop music-based interventions for children and young people that improve their mental health
- Working with other practitioners to deliver ‘Mind on Music’ and other schools and community-based programmes that you may design whilst working at HFEH Mind
- Develop music-based sessions to deliver during school holidays (with colleagues)
- Create partnerships with local artists and industry professionals to provide exciting opportunities for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality music-based intervention to young people identified by schools signed up to the Mind on Music Programme
- Use trauma informed approaches (e.g., ARC, Tree of Life) to support children, young people and their parents and carers
- Deliver music-based interventions in community settings.
- Meet the KPIs and outcomes of our music-related funding
- Work with the Fundraising department to support ideas for new funding
- Develop the music-based provision offered by HFEH Mind
- Work alongside our young advisors to ensure new music-based ideas are co-produced.
- Understand and implement safeguarding procedures, and be familiar with safeguarding law, and how it applies to our work.
You will have/be:
- Musically talented and creative – ability to use a range of musical instruments and vocals to engage young people
- Experience of working with children and young people and an understanding of mental health
- A child-centred approach to work.
- A creative outlook on work, and ability to develop new ideas.
- Working knowledge of child and adult safeguarding.
- Organisational skills and excellent time management.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support Worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and their children living in our dispersed refuge accommodation in Warwickshire.
You will be working as part of the Warwickshire Dispersed Safe Accommodation service. This service provides emergency accommodation across Warwickshire with high-quality domestic abuse support, ‘by-and-for’ services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
The post holder will provide high quality support and safety planning to survivors and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse. This includes enabling survivors to access housing, welfare, benefits and legal advice. A key requirement is to provide personal welfare support and to ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment in accordance with Refuge’s philosophical principles.
The Floating Support Worker (FSW) will carry a caseload of survivors of domestic abuse to enable them to provide a more holistic and intensive support package. They will work closely with survivors from the point of crisis through to move on from the emergency accommodation. FSWs will work in partnership with both statutory and voluntary sector partners to ensure that the whole range of survivors’ needs are met.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

The Role

Felstead Street is a CQC registered care home, which has a heavy focus on supporting customers with enduring mental health care and elderly needs. We provide 24hr high support to 24 customers both female and male. Our building is a purpose-built home on two floors, offering customers individual bedrooms and the use of shared communal facilities and gardens. The service is commissioned by East London Foundation Trust with the care contribution from London Borough of Hackney.
As a Support Worker at Felstead Street you will play an integral role in supporting our customers to making their lives interesting and enabling to manage their social, physical and emotional well being. You will support our customers with a range of activities and health support throughout the day and to live in a safe living environment. You will be part of a team which is very supportive of one another.
Shift work : 8am-4pm, 2.30pm-10.30pm and additional sleep in max once a week as rostered.
Bank holidays and weekends off as rostered. Must be able to work weekends and bank holidays as allocated on the rota. Rota is available at least 4 weeks in advance.
Must be able to work 9am-5pm, Mon-Friday for a period of 2 weeks every 10 weeks approximately.

We have been delivering this role for 2 years now and there are established systems for delivery, training and development as well as an active weekly Neurodiverse Support Group. This project is part of the community mental health transformation programme (CMHTP), an initiative across England that aims to address the long-term challenges faced by people with severe and enduring mental health conditions and their carers in NHS community mental services.
A new model of care has been developed which will remove barriers between primary and secondary care, promoting better integration between services. This new model of care aims to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions as well as offering holistic/personalised care and support to patients and their carers.
RB Mind as been commissioned by South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust (SWLStG) to provide peer support and partners include Richmond AID, Age UK Richmond and Crossroads Care. Each partner organisation will have a specialist area. Crossroads will be supporting carers, Age UK will support older people and Richmond AID will have a focus on supporting people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Richmond Borough (RB) Mind, as the lead provider, work with partners to provide mental health peer support in the community to adults who are currently accessing mental health support or have done so in the past. The aim is to help people to access the right services to support their needs to recovery valuing lived experiences and using peer led approaches. Richmond AID’s peer support role will also have a focus on people that experience neurodevelopmental conditions such as people with autistic spectrum disorders, Aspergers, or people with ADHD.
The Peer Support Worker will work alongside a team of Peer Support Workers to provide one-to-one support and work with people referred by the Integrated Recovery Hub in Richmond to co-produce group peer support initiatives, as well as working with team members at Richmond Borough Mind and their partners to establish this new service.
About you
You will be passionate about supporting people on their mental health recovery journey. You will have lived experience of mental health and have experience of using mental health support services.
The role will involve
- Working in partners and liaising with staff in Mind and & SWLSTG as well as peer supporters in other organisations
- Support clients on a one to one basis
- Carrying out support assessments
- Managing a caseload of clients
- Develop links with community resources
Many of the clients you support will have severe and enduring mental health conditions and may have suicidal ideation. Experience of working with, or an understanding of how to support, people with severe and enduring mental health conditions will be an advantage.
You will have excellent communication and IT skills, administrative skills and be fully competent on Microsoft applications. You will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
About peer support
Peer support is about people using their lived experience to support others in similar situations. Peers lived experiences of mental distress, caring for someone with a mental health condition, or accessing mental health services will be used to build rapport and support the recovery journey of others.
The peer relationship is one of shared responsibility, two-way interactions, mutual benefit, and self-determination. Peers will offer a listening ear and their own experience, as well as emotional and practical support.

We will work with the communities, especially from an intersectional identity lens to develop co-produced wellbeing activities to ensure greater mental health. Your Role
Your typical day will begin with a handover from a colleague, ensuring continuity of care. You’ll start with a welfare "check-in" with a customer you’re assisting, followed by updates to their support plans and safety assessments to reflect their evolving needs. You'll also carry out flat or room inspections to identify repairs, health and safety concerns, or fire risks. Later, you might plan a group activity to help customers enhance their independent life skills.

The Living Well Team:
The Bury Living Well Service is formed from an alliance of mental health services in the Bury area. The staff team is made up of staff from different backgrounds from Pennine Care Foundation Trust, Bury Involvement Group, the Creative Living Centre, and Early Break, and includes both clinical and non-clinical staff who employ a multi-disciplinary team approach to supporting individuals with significant mental health challenges in the community.
Job Summary:
You will form part of the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) provision within the Bury Living Well Model as a member of the Creative Living Centre (CLC) Service Delivery Team. The Link Worker is responsible for case loading adults experiencing mental and emotional distress, offering person-centred and trauma informed support in the community both face to face and via telephone. Ensuring that service users are provided with both initial and ongoing support in either 1:1 or group sessions, as appropriate to their needs which are identified and reviewed on an ongoing basis. You will engage empathically with those you support, providing positive emotional and therapeutic support, through a collaborative approach which focuses on individual strengths rather than deficits, enabling and promoting autonomy and self-care. You will work alongside clinical staff and staff from other VCSE organisations to form multidisciplinary team approach to collaboratively support individuals in the community. You will be supported by the Living Well VCSE Coordinator, Operational Programme Manager and Clinical Lead. CPD opportunities are available and personal interests/skills will be supported to development and growth. This is a new post and there will be an opportunity to help shape and evolve it.

The Recovery Lounge provides individuals with:

- Support to identify positive mental health coping strategies, including goal and safety plans
- Advice and guidance about other support services available in their area (and nationally).
Service Delivery
- Deliver preventative focussed 1:1s when required, supporting a community focused safe space and ensure outcomes which supports individuals experiencing a mental health challenge including crisis in Central Bedfordshire & Bedfordshire, in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed service and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Assessing need and suitability for the service in line with the access to services process and undertaking 1:1s.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.
