About the role:
We’re excited to be launching a brand-new Housing First service in Camden next month, and we’re looking for a passionate, skilled individual to join our team! You will be working in a unique new service that for the first time will be offering support to couples who have been rough sleeping and are to be accommodated separately in their own flats. With a three-year commission and the ability to support 30 individuals, this is your chance to be part of a fresh and impactful initiative within our organisation. You will work from a base in Kings Cross, delivering support in the community and within the homes of your clients. You will carry a case load of 5 people and will provide intensive and flexible trauma informed support that is centred around the strengths and needs of everyone. You will work closely with a wide range of external statutory agencies and specialist colleagues in the team who will include: a health worker, an IDVA, psychologist, sessional occupational health, and perpetrator support.
The service will support an equal number of women and men. The people given priority for the service are likely to have been rough sleeping for prolonged periods, have been multiply excluded from services and have co-occurring conditions. There will be a strong emphasis on safety in situations that might relate to complex abuse within relationships and externally.
About you:
- Experience working with clients who experience multi disadvantages, including building trust and positive relationships with people who have co-occurring conditions and who may be mistrustful and have a low level of engagement with services.
- A proven track record of achieving measurable outcomes with clients with complex needs.
- Awareness of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantage and violence against women and girls (VAWG), and an understanding of how the intersection of these issues can be supported and the people involved safeguarded.
- To show leadership qualities; skills of a strong negotiator; ability to advocate and be diplomatic.
- A level of numeracy, literacy and comprehension to input data, the ability to be fully self servicing in the use of emails and the common computer packages including SHP’s client recording system.

Prospectus is pleased to be partnering an outstanding homelessness charity based in Canning Town, whose mission is to provide support to people who find themselves sleeping rough in East London. They do this by providing a safe and welcoming place to stay, and offering support through the provision of personalised support, educational and life skills opportunities. They are now a support worker, to join their Intensive Support Service.
As a Support Worker, you will work in the ISS, providing high-quality, person-centred support to residents with a background of rough sleeping and a range of medium to high needs. These will include entrenched drug and/or alcohol issues, mental health diagnosis and a range of offending backgrounds. You will be the principal provider of support for these residents in the ISS and will also work alongside other Support Workers. You will be responsible for promoting resident engagement and empowerment through the development of positive relationships with residents, enabling them to take control of their lives and make positive changes. Additionally, you will work closely with residents to create tailored support plans that meet their specific needs and enable them.
Due to the nature of the role, you will have experience in building relationships and supporting vulnerable, disadvantaged, or excluded client groups, as well as dealing with challenging behaviours within a similar setting to the homelessness sector. You will also be able to demonstrate a level of experience and understand the range of approaches appropriate to working with challenging behaviour including current drug /or alcohol use, antisocial behaviour, offending, substance misuse and complex needs, as well as experience of working with clients through a trauma-informed approach and understand statutory compliances and standards such health and safety, equal opportunities and data protection. To be successful, you will be naturally motivated, adaptable and a committed member of the team.

Role Purpose:
To work with families 0-5 within the 0-19 model, with flexibility for 5-19 and a “whole family approach” Including pre-birth, to provide Early Help interventions to meet identified needs of families both in their home on a one-to-one basis and in other settings, using group work.
Main functions
1.To empower families to engage in support, enabling a person-centred solution-focused approach to family support where the service user guides the package of support.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the needs, strengths and challenges of families accessing the service.
3. To support families with identified support needs, holding a caseload and taking part in case supervision.
4. To provide families with information, advice and guidance and signposting on various issues.
5. To provide family support drop-in sessions enabling families to access support
6. To identify barriers to accessing services within the local community and contribute to overcoming these barriers for all target and disadvantaged groups.
7. To use a solution-focused approach when working with families who are resistant to engage with the service ensuring the child’s welfare remains paramount at all times.

16. To plan, and coordinate Antenatal/ Perinatal Mental Health Interventions.
17. To engage with local partners and communities to promote public health messages in relation to Infant Feeding.
18. To ensure appropriate referral and signposting of women for breastfeeding support when necessary.
19. To provide support to women who are breastfeeding, encouraging the development of group support as required.
20. Communicate key messages about breastfeeding; in relation to attachment and bonding with their baby, providing support in a clear and empathetic manner as required
21. Maintain effective links with internal and external support services, staying up to date with available support services in relation to emotional health and well-being.
22. To lead on planning, delivery and evaluation of services, in relation to the emotional health of parents, including co-production.
23. To work directly with individual parents and children to provide structured intervention and support around emotional health/well-being and behaviour.

We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our mental health services. The role is a peer support worker, who use own lived experience of mental health difficulties to support others on their recovery journey through the facilitation of group based, peer support.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals.
Service Delivery
- Facilitate Peer Support groups and ensure outcomes which support individuals
- with mental health and wellbeing needs across Luton in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed peer support model and service’s KPIs and contract requirements.
- To support the Service Manager, when required, by assessing individual’s suitability for attending the peer support service in the line with the organisations Access to Services process.
- Signpost individuals to wider services and encourage and support people to access local activities and community services.
- Use own lived experience of mental health challenges to show hope, empathy and understanding in a safe space where people feel accepted. Share ideas and approaches that support the improvement of mental health and wellbeing and embed this in working practices as a peer.
- Work closely with Service Manager to ensure that our peer support service meet the needs of Luton’s diverse community.
- Encourage and support client engagement with Mind BLMK through the influence and participation process, Guarantor Membership, and training opportunities.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective volunteer workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (workload planning and support).
- Carry out Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

About the Project
Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been awarded Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service (WithYOUth). The WithYOUth Service is an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and Hertfordshire Mind Network to provide a countywide digital service that is accessible to children and young people aged 5 – 18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/ or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.
Purpose of Post
As a CYP Support Worker you will be responsible for delivering this exciting service as part of a wider team, and whilst experience is advantageous, the most important thing to us and the children and young people we support is having the right values, skills and commitment to being part of this dynamic, new provision.
Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.

About the Role
