The individual giving team is responsible for driving sustainable growth through donor engagement, stewardship and acquisition. We are seeking a Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to drive the development and implementation of our digital fundraising strategy. You will oversee campaigns across multiple digital platforms, engaging with new and existing supporters to drive donor acquisition, retention, and growth. As a key person within the fundraising team, you will collaborate closely with communications and people across the charity to help us meet our ambitious fundraising goals through online channels. Job purpose
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the policy influencing work of Runnymede across a wide range of areas. Your responsibilities will involve researching and developing evidence-based policy positions, drafting briefings in priority areas and supporting with policy reports, while working closely with other members of the team to contribute to organisational initiatives. A key part of this role will involve supporting the Policy Manager and Head of Policy in managing the Runnymede’s Parliamentary engagement, which includes monitoring ongoing legislation, organising Parliamentary events and managing the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Race and Community.
This is a challenging position that requires strong organisational skills, an ability to navigate high-stakes environments, and a keen understanding of policy nuance within the shifting landscape of race and social justice. You will be integral to shaping and advancing Runnymede’s anti-racist agenda and will thrive on collaboration and learning in a responsive and dynamic environment.

Since 2018, Connect: North Korea (CNK) has grown from a small community start-up into an effective and impactful organisation with an annual income of approaching £500,000, mainly through grants from Trusts and Foundations. We now want to develop our individual giving programme to build our unrestricted income and secure our long term growth.
As our new Head of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for growing our income from our individual and corporate base to help us reach more vulnerable members of our community. You will lead on individual fundraising relationships and initiatives, including appeals, fundraising campaigns, and all direct marketing activities and communications. You will position us in our supporters’ minds and encourage them to actively support CNK in 2025 and beyond.

Contract: Permanent. Full-time (35 hours per week) with occasional evening working required. Flexible hours/days possible whilst respecting core hours of 10am-4pm
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + 5% pension on qualifying earnings, health insurance and gym membership

Strategy:

Strategise and plan our annual individual and corporate giving programme with targets and performance indicators.This will be a key focus area within our 2025/6 corporate fundraising strategy.

Report quarterly on progress. Use online analytics, social media insights and other metrics to help us learn, improve and grow our income from low, mid,major donors and corporate supporters.
Annual Corporate and Individual Giving Programmes:

Develop and deliver CNK corporate and individual giving fundraising programme of events, campaigns and appeals to raise £100,000 in 2025.

Work closely with CEO and CNK team members to craft information into compelling copy, asks, supporter updates, social media content and personalised campaign appeals.

Plan and deliver low and mid level individual giving campaigns to cultivate new donors, convert existing supporters from once off donations to regular givers and inspire donors to increase their current support.

Design and deliver our annual major donor giving programme. Cultivate, communicate and inspire new major donors to join us with the aim of increasing our current major donor pool by 10%. Steward current donors, keep in touch, craft compelling asks to support their progression towards more frequent or higher-value donations.

Report monthly to the CEO on the success of campaigns and programming, income raised, number of new supporters/followers, conversion rates, offering insight on ROI, learnings and how we will incorporate this learning to improve how we do things in future.
Fundraising compliance:

Save all profiles, donations, giving history, gift aid agreements, correspondence, and communications with supporters on CNK CRM database. Uphold GDPR and comply with fundraising best practice.
US Individual Giving Programme:

Contribute towards developing a new US individual giving portfolio through prospect research and crafting compelling fundraising asks.
Staff & Volunteer Management:

Create and manage a volunteer fundraising programme to grow individual giving through community events, social media and awareness raising.
The role has no direct line reports at present but there may be in future, budget permitting
Essential skills and experience:
You will have at least five, ideally eight, years experience of:

individual giving fundraising for a small charity, with a track record of developing and delivering successful individual giving campaigns that have generated 5 figure sums

building a supporter base - both amongst low value, but also mid level and major donors

gathering information, case studies, data and finances, distilling and crafting high quality, well articulated compelling funding asks

growing charity brand and positioning, thorough consistent approach, campaigns, asks,use of language and artwork

digital marketing including social media, email marketing, and website content management

designing tools, inputting data and keeping CRM software updated, using data analytics to report on donor journey and drive fundraising decisions

Background
Newham Parent Forum (NPF) is a voluntary group of parents and carers of children and young people (0-25) with special/additional needs and disabilities (SEND) living in the London Borough of Newham. We provide an opportunity for parents and carers to express their views and input into the planning and delivery of SEND services.
We signpost and empower families to obtain the best possible support and services for their children. The work of the forum is supported by Contact, and we are a member of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).
The work of the forum is funded by DFE and supported by Contact. ‘Contact for Families with Disabled Children’.
CB Plus (CommUNITY Barnet) has been appointed by the Forum to act as a local host and provide a range of support including recruitment.
About the Role
This is a self-employed role. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Self-Employed Administration Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a self-employed contractor, you will have flexibility to manage your working hours, with a requirement to be present at the office at least twice a month. In this role, you will be the backbone of our office, providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the forum.

We are looking for a creative written communicator with an excellent eye for detail to tell the story of The Listening Place, our volunteers and our visitors.
The Listening Place offers free, confidential, face-to-face support for people feeling suicidal, provided by highly trained volunteers using active listening skills. Over eight years, the charity has grown rapidly, with now over 800 volunteers delivering up to 150 appointments daily across three sites. TLP receives 750 new referrals every month and will provide support to 8000 people struggling with suicidal feelings this year. This growth, achieved without waiting lists, highlights how TLP balances ambition with a commitment to high-quality, person-centered support. With plans to expand to East London and strong donor and media interest, it’s an exciting time to join this effective, community-led service.
This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for giving TLP a voice across external and internal communications. Through dependable, precise and creative communications, you will help TLP meet its three key communication objectives:
- To inspire and retain volunteers and supporters.
- To influence public and stakeholder opinion on how to deliver effective suicide prevention services.
- To help recruit new volunteers.
All your copy should be clear, concise and help deliver against one of these key objectives.
We are seeking an individual with an excellent eye for detail who is a self-starter, able to seek out stories and respond to opportunities as and when they arise. This means over the course of a day you could be covering an event, interviewing a volunteer, setting up targeted paid adverts or responding to messages from supporters.
Your success will be judged on your ability to deliver all communications with a meticulous attention for detail and a clear understanding of TLP’s voice.
Core Responsibilities:
The Communications Coordinator will:
Working under the direction of the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the development, delivery, analysis and growth of TLP’s communications through effective copy for internal and external stakeholders. This includes:
- Leading on day-to-day account management and content creation for organic and paid activity on TLP social media channels.
- Planning and executing activities for national campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and Mental Health Week.
- Working with and supporting teams from across the organisation to execute engaging internal and external communications and digital campaigns including monthly volunteer and supporter newsletters.
- To act as a point of contact for teams for communications related queries, maintaining a good understanding of approaches, channels and technologies in order to do this.
- Recognise, mitigate and appropriately escalate communications related incidents and risks including reputation management, information governance and sensitivity issues.
- Regularly reviewing website content, looking for ways to constantly improve user experience.
- Compiling regular monthly statistics and analytical reports, evaluating our online performance against agreed metrics.
- Ensure all records are held in compliance with GDPR and the Institute of Fundraising policies.

- Digital skills including Office 365 systems (inc. Teams and SharePoint), WordPress, Photoshop, Google ads and Canva
- Developing an engaging end to end digital customer experience.

Reporting line
The Digital Communications Officer will report to the Head of Fundraising and Communications.

Job Profile
The leadership and Governance Officer is a key role that enables CAFOD’s Leadership (the Executive Team) and Governance (the Board of trustees) teams to fulfil their remits well through sound administration, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
The post sits at the centre of CAFOD and will have a broad overview of key issues affecting CAFOD’s work and the management mechanisms in place to address them. The post holder will have proven experience in providing sound administrative and organisational support at a board/senior management level. This includes excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact across different cultural settings. They will have experience in setting meeting agendas, following up on key actions and experience in forward planning with excellent project management skills to support the Board of Trustees.
The post holder will ensure:
- That the governance of meetings and functions in CAFOD (Board of Trustees and relevant committees) are well planned, effective and documented transparently.
- That governance reporting requirements are fulfilled to a high quality and in a timely fashion. This includes minute-taking, serious incident reporting and follow-up actions.
- That they keep abreast of changes in the governance environment and ensure CAFOD is following charity commission regulations appropriately, engaging with relevant Directors accordingly.
- That key stakeholders receive a high-quality service from the small Directorate team. This includes CAFOD colleagues and supporters, Trustees, Catholic Church officials and members of the public.
The role is part of the Governance Team, which has a broad, cross-organisational remit, working closely with CAFOD’s Directors.
The post holder will also manage the Leadership and Governance Assistant who provides direct support to CAFOD’s Executive Director and Executive Team. Line management of this post holder is provided by the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring effective Governance (60%)
- Acting as Secretary to the Trustees and Committees, ensuring that the annual meeting cycle (Governance Calendar) is followed, records of meetings are kept and that external submissions (e.g. the annual report, serious incidents, and other reporting) take place in a timely manner.
- Ensuring Trustee and Trustee committee meetings are well-planned (dates, papers, agendas, attendance, etc.) and well-run (including guidance for Chair, minuting, follow-up, action tracking, etc) and that follow up actions are monitored and undertaken.
- Liaise with Trustees on governance matters, including due diligence requests, and events, planning a schedule of Trustee travel to international programmes.
- Overseeing the recruitment and induction of trustees to CAFOD’s Board and coordinating their on-going training and development in conjunction with the Governance Lead Trustee.
- Manage the policy review processes and document management with support from the Leadership and Governance Assistant.
- Ensuring relevant policies come to the Board of Trustees for review in line with the schedule of reporting as outlined in the Governance Calendar. The meeting calendar dates are reviewed on an annual basis in October (so next review is October 2025).
- To be responsible for CAFOD Trustee’s Annual Report being produced in a timely and accurate way, commissioning a consultant.
- Liaising with the Executive Members regarding governance matters ensuring that they are able to provide relevant and accessible information in a timely manner.
- Assist with the communication of CAFOD’s governance work with key donors, supporters and other stakeholders.
- Working with the Governance Lead Trustee to implement any necessary improvements in CAFOD’s governance mechanisms.
Ensuring the effective running of the Executive Team (25%)
- Providing strategic guidance on governance issues and support to CAFOD’s Trustees and Leadership Team.
- Managing the Governance and Leadership assistant to ensure that Executive Team meetings are well-planned (dates, papers, agendas, attendance, etc.) and well-run (including minuting, follow-up, action tracking, etc.).
- Having a broad oversight of all critical projects and support the team to deliver its objectives on time and to budget.
- Brief the Executive Team on matters arising as needed especially governance.
- Process organisational grants and memberships.
- Alongside the Governance and Leadership Assistant, maintain an overview of CAFOD’s key contacts and relationships with the Catholic Church
Support to the Director (15%)
- Working closely with the Executive Director in planning trustee board meetings, following up on necessary actions and ensuring that papers and other necessary information are well produced, accurate and timely.
- When the Governance and Leadership assistant is absent, to manage the diary of the Executive Director. This includes broad insights to plan effective use of their time, including sufficient time to follow up on actions and to prepare for internal and external commitments.
- Provide support on Budget monitoring for the team with input from the Executive Director and L&G assistant.
- When required monitoring the ED inbox, ensuring that requests are followed up and that communications are drafted and signed off, as necessary.
- Forward planning and ensure coordination of travel.
- Prepare briefings and presentations for the ED when required.
People Management
Lead, manage, develop and support the Leadership and Governance Assistant by championing CAFOD’s purpose and values through building strong and safe working relationships, setting SMART objectives and conducting performance reviews, and nurturing staff career development. Encouraging collaborative ways of working and aiding staff to be adaptable to change whilst engaging with the external and internal context.

All CAFOD staff share the responsibility to promote and maintain a strong safeguarding culture, including identifying the key actions they should take given their role and responsibilities.

This university is seeking an Admissions Officer initially until the middle of January, but you must have experience with international student applicants and issuance of CAS. This role is working one day from the office and the rest from home.
Your new role
In this role, you will need to ensure to stay abreast of the latest immigration guidance. You will need to be able to evaluate academic qualifications from overseas and make decisions on non-complex applications within specified deadlines. Ensure admissions processes are operated at all times within the legislative and regulatory requirements, including verifying qualifications and identity documents, detecting potential fraud, carrying out a quality check on every application received. You will need to manage and process applications, application-related enquiries and other forms of correspondence from applicants.
To deliver the CAS issuance process for international students admitted via the recruitment partner, ensuring that high standards of compliance are maintained. The role holder will be required to actively engage with staff from different partnership providers, and will become the trusted operational expert in these areas. You will also work closely with the Admissions Manager and Head of Compliance to ensure that students recruited via their international partner are subject to the required level of checks prior to the issuance of their CAS - the responsibility for which is also in the remit of this post.
