Key Responsibilities
As a Fundraising Compliance Manager, you will take on a varied role including:
- Managing fundraising compliance across telephone and face to face fundraising activities.
- Supporting on wider compliance measure across the Charity. Conducting regular audits and risk assessments of fundraising teams and agencies, providing guidance and training to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Developing and delivering of audit trails of third-party agency activity, including site bookings and fundraiser recruitment. with a focus on face-to-face fundraising activities.
- Tracking , monitoring and reporting on complaint trends and collaborating with the Senior Supporter Relations Care Manager.
- Producing regular reports to share with the Fundraising Leadership Team and Trustees outlining compliance actions and areas for improvement.
This role is focused on compliance, but you will also get involved in training activities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Significant experience working within fundraising compliance.
- Substantial knowledge of the Fundraising Code of Practice.
- Understanding of gambling commission legislation in relation to charity lotteries.
- Experience writing compliance reports.

The purpose of your role
We’re looking for a Recruitment Operations Officer to join our award-winning team to support the operational delivery of the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for all Police Now programmes, to enable us to achieve our ambitious mission.
You will have oversight of the Recruitment & Marketing department’s governance structures which underpin all our day-to-day delivery; from policies and processes, to reporting infrastructure, planning, implementation and evaluation cycles, and quality assurance and compliance. You will be a system expert, owning our candidate communications platform and supporting the continued development and best practice use of our applicant tracking system. Key responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within our Recruitment Delivery sub-team of eight, contributing to a high-performance culture and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.
- Take a hands-on role developing and maintaining the Recruitment & Marketing department governance structures, including taking the lead in updating policies and processes each year, as well as ownership for specific frameworks such as quality assurance and candidate experience surveys.
- Lead the continued evolution of our reporting structures, designing sophisticated dashboards and tools and regularly reporting to senior stakeholders on progress to targets, SLA compliance and operating performance. - Oversee and deliver key compliance-based projects throughout the recruitment yearly cycle on time and to a high standard, including leading our post-offer pre-employment checks such as degree certificate verification and referencing, the distribution of final offer letters, and managing cross department data handovers.
- Support with organisational data requests and work with stakeholders across different teams as a directorate Salesforce Champion. Monitor compliance and best practice to ensure we adhere to applicable requirements under GDPR.
- Ad hoc duties to support our busy team including facilitating and/or managing assessment centres and attending events.
Key Requirements

Oxford House also run a community-based service, supporting individuals living with mental ill health to build confidence and self-esteem and help them to develop links within the community.
We provide holistic support in all areas affecting wellbeing including employment, finances, accommodation, and social activities. Due to the nature of the role a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided and NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care is an advantage, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. More important is your caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be happy to work both independently and within a team and willing to be part of a weekly rota system and available for on call duties.

About the role

As a Dementia Adviser, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives.
We are working hard to improve diagnosis rates for dementia and this exciting role involves organising and attending ‘Brain Health Pop Ups’ around the whole East Riding to support people worried about their own brain health. Giving advice about how to approach their GP to gain a diagnosis and supporting people in a relaxed and supportive environment (usually libraries, leisure centres and garden centres) and working closely with identified GP surgeries. Working closely with the East Riding team and signposting for referrals is a key part of the role also.

- You will be meeting people all over the East Riding who are a little anxious about their own brain health or just curious about what options they have.

Role purpose
The MEAL Coordinator will travel with the emergency response team to deliver emergency shelter responses, to enhance programme quality and embed a culture of organisational learning and accountability. Sitting within the Programme Quality team, the MEAL Coordinator will play a significant role to strengthen participant voice and accountability, enable data driven decision making and help to identify best practice and innovative shelter solutions allowing people to recover and rebuild their lives.
The MEAL Coordinator will lead/support key processes that enhance programme/project delivery. They will liaise with programme managers/emergency coordinators and partner organisations to provide technical support and ensure that programmes/projects adhere to agreed processes, namely needs assessments, log frame development (with clear outcomes/outputs and SMART indicators), robust and transparent community feedback mechanisms and the development of the MEAL plan. They will also be expected to provide technical input on data collection exercises (both quantitative and qualitative) data analysis for routine monitoring exercises as well as designing/coordinating review /evaluation processes.
The MEAL Coordinator will play an important role in promoting organisational learning and embedding a culture of reflection, analysis, and learning. Working together with Programme Managers & Emergency field coordinators, they will ensure learning frameworks are in place so that lessons are learned (both positive and negative) are captured, responded to, and shared with peers. They will work closely with the Programme Delivery Team and Technical Specialists to identify and/or support the establishment of Action Research projects that will contribute to improvements and innovations within the shelter sector.
There is significant travel with this role (up to 50% FTE), and the post holder must be prepared to travel at short notice for up to two months at a time. The MEAL Coordinators may also be asked to contribute to the development of organisational policy papers on mainstreaming or technical areas such as cash programming.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
The MEAL coordinator is a core member of the project team and will work closely with the project lead to ensure project quality and accountability. They will lead processes or liaise with partners (depending on implementation model) to ensure ShelterBox standards are adhered to. Specifically, they will:
Project Support 70% FTE
· Advise/Carry out needs assessments to inform project design
· Facilitate technical MEAL component of Organizational Capacity Assessments and support with the development of capacity strengthening plans for potential partners
· As relevant, support the delivery of Capacity Building Action Plans, through the development of appropriate resources/ providing in-person and remote training /mentoring on MEAL concepts and practice. This will also involve reviewing training courses/modules, developing resources, and providing training.
· Collaborate with partners and implementing teams to, support project/log frame development with clear outcomes/outputs and SMART indicators, in line with organizational reporting requirements
· Ensure robust MEAL plans are in place, and that SADD distribution data is robust
· Ensure robust and transparent community feedback mechanisms are functioning and support safeguarding processes
· Provide technical input/Lead data collection exercises (both quantitative and qualitative)
· Liaise with partners and implementing teams to ensure the MEAL Plans are operationalized and that the data/reports provided by partners are robust, verifiable and with the appropriate degree of objectivity.
· Ensure project documentation is up to date
· Support data analysis and the facilitation of learning and reflection based on findings that result in data-led decision making
· Coordinate/Facilitate/carry out end of project evaluation processes in line with DAC criteria.
· Ensure all projects/programmes are contributing to organisational KPI reporting. Develop and populate Information Management systems as appropriate.
· Liaise with the Grant Management team to ensure that all projects MEAL systems and processes are in line with donor requirements, and support programme managers to submit quality narrative reports in a timely fashion.
Knowledge Creation and Sharing 20% FTE
· Ensure that each Project log frame, MEAL plan and Learning and Accountability Framework are up-to-date and facilitate continuous and conscious reflection and learning.
· Utilising M&E data, evaluation findings and wider sector understanding, develop thematic discussions to strengthen understanding within ShelterBox and in relevant Communities of Practice.
Infrastructure Development 10% FTE
· Contribute to the development of policies, SOPs and processes that strengthen project delivery and accountability.
· Ensure ShelterBox is abreast of new technological developments supporting information gathering and analysis, particularly methodologies that empower affected populations to communicate with ShelterBox and to share their insights enhancing participation.
Working Requirements
· This role will support the design and implementation of rapid response emergency project that will demand prolonged travel (up to two months) at very short notice.
· For remote workers: travel to Truro HQ for collaboration weeks 3 times a year, and additional meetings as requested.
· Comply with ShelterBox training and adhere to policies and standards and demonstrating organizational values as and where possible.

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker (SMDW). In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting people who face severe and multiple disadvantages to transition from street homeless into supported accommodation. You will have a leadership role within a multidisciplinary team ensuring that opportunities for engagement with health and social care services are successful for a client group who typically face many barriers to engagement.
About the role:
As the Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with referral agencies and leading on all assessments into King George's, ensuring that clients and prospecting clients of SHP receiving a psychologically informed introduction to our service.
In your role, you will maintain a small caseload of clients with a recent and often very entrenched history of rough sleeping who often have difficult and complex relationships with services. You will support the team to make and maintain relationships with external services, and lead on MDT meetings, safeguarding issues, and overseeing in-reach clinics.
Additionally, you will support relevant Service/Team Managers, in providing guidance and advice to Project Workers on relevant housing and support tools and resources.
You will be 1 of 2 Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker's and part of a large team including: 7 Complex Needs Project Workers; 2 Night Concierges and Night Security; a Complex Need Health Navigator; a Recovery Opportunities Co-ordinator (ROC); a Psychologist; 2 Team Managers; 1 Regional Service Manager. We also receive a whole host of in-reach at the service including Substance Misuse workers; Occupational Therapists, Nurses and GPs.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working clients with complex needs such as Mental Health, Substance use or Physical Health needs.
- Experience of working with homeless service users, and a good understanding of the working methods of residential schemes.
- Experience of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with other professionals, including those who may have different outcome priorities.
- Experience of reflecting critically upon own practice in order to improve the experience for service users.
- A non-judgmental approach to working with multi-disadvantaged / complex needs clients and to promote a strengths-based approach and an understanding of and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives across work specialisms.
