IN DETAIL

Systems

Improving the use of our systems including:

• HubSpot for marketing, communications and Knowledge Base

• Trello for project and process management 

• Clockify for time management and time off

• Google Drive for file management

You will propose and implement improvements, and train staff members in new and improved practices. Therefore, a previous knowledge of some of the systems we use is desirable, and a proven ability to understand and implement systems is essential. 

Client Experience

You will have responsibility for ensuring Client Experience across all communication channels including the website, email communication, telephone, knowledge base and chatbots.

As part of this, you will understand the role and responsibilities of the Office Administrator responsibilities so you can provide training, backfill and assist during busy periods. This includes:

• Resolving user-based queries

• Managing subscriptions and trial subscriptions

• Triaging communication to the relevant member of staff

• Improving and updating CRM data (eg school holidays, pupil numbers, etc)

In addition, under the guidance of the Leadership Team, you will organise, plan and implement the annual subscription process.

Line Management

You will initially have Line Management responsibility of the Finance Officer and Office Administrator. This includes bi-weekly one-to-one meetings, termly reviews, annual appraisals and adhoc meetings with reportees or the Leadership Team as required.

Team Organisation

You will have responsibility for managing various team matters. This includes, although is not exclusive to:

• Payment of goods and services

• Organising Team Gatherings and adhoc in-person meetings

• Remote planning of work events - eg film shoots, conferences

• Team training as required

• Ensuring staff have up to date DBS certificates

Reports and Policies

This includes:

• Producing reports for the Leadership Team regularly and as required

• Producing and updating company-wide policies, ensuring that they are fit for purpose

• Ensuring the Operations Manual is up to date and that department heads update the manual as necessary

General Admin

You will also have responsibility for General Admin tasks. This may include, although is not exclusive to:

• Receiving and triaging post

PLACE OF WORK

This is a home-working role. All home-working office equipment will be provided by the company as required.

In-person staff gatherings take place three times per year, requiring an overnight stay. Travel and accommodation are provided by the organisation. Additional in-person meetings may also be called as required.

Overall purpose 

This CRM Administrator role will sit within our Data and Innovation team. This team conducts analysis and creates systems to ensure that Breaking Barriers is as efficient, effective and evidence-based as possible. They help us to ensure we are continually providing the best possible support to our clients, as well as to demonstrate our impact and the need for our services to our supporters and partners. In addition, the team builds systems to assist the fundraising team in stewarding supporters and generating income.

The post-holder will be responsible for managing and improving the organisation’s database (Salesforce), training and supporting the end users of the CRM, and creating reports to analyse Breaking Barriers’ data. The CRM system is our ‘single source of truth’, and holds data relating to the clients we support, the activities they have participated in and the positive outcomes they have achieved, as well as information about all of our donors, event attendees, mailing list subscribers referral partners and other key contacts.

The role would suit someone with aptitude for thinking clearly about data, some experience in either CRM administration or data analysis, and a keen interest to learn more. There is scope to further develop a wide-range of data-related skills in the role, including transforming and analysing data in Excel, customising CRM systems, planning data architectures and conducting statistical analyses.

Our Victim Awareness Course is a rehabilitative course designed to reduce offending through increasing victim empathy and improving attitudes to crime. As a Senior Administrator you will:

• Need good leadership skills in order to provide support to the VAC administrators and the wider team of trainers delivering the course
• Manage referrals coming into the project using case work management systems and work towards improving compliance
• Provide a high-quality administrative service whilst also being compassionate and non-judgmental, responding to queries effectively and efficiently
• Book venues for courses, raising invoices and requisitions
• Support the Operations manager with monthly and quarterly reporting and attending meetings

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The Membership & CRM Administrator will support and expand the growing network of individuals and organisations that are members of the Nursing Now Challenge network. This role is vital to optimise member experience and enhance the value and impact of the Nursing Now Challenge, which is dedicated to championing leadership development for student and early-career nurses and midwives. The main purpose of this role is to manage the Nursing Now Challenge membership database, using existing CRM tools and software, and ensure positive and proactive engagement with members of the Nursing Now Challenge network as well as its existing and prospective collaborators. About the Accelerating Reform Fund

The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. The ARF has a particular focus on unpaid carers and aims to boost short-term breaks for carers and improve hospital discharge processes. Job Summary

To develop and ensure safe discharge planning and information for patients and unpaid carers. To embed procedures to raise awareness of the needs of carers in a secondary care setting, working in partnership with the discharge, virtual and enablement teams. To empower carers to be involved in the discharge process.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and oversight of the Carers Hospital Discharge Pilot in Manchester. The role involves line-managing a team of three Hospital Discharge Workers across multiple hospital sites, ensuring effective collaboration with hospital staff and community services to support carers. The aim is to enhance the identification and referral of carers, ensuring timely and appropriate support to prevent carer breakdown and facilitate smoother, safer, and more efficient hospital discharges. By fostering strong relationships with health teams, discharge teams, and local services, this role bridges the gap between secondary care and community resources, contributing to improved outcomes for carers and patients alike.

We need to expand our Strategic Programme Team, as we begin to put in place the practical steps that will move us towards our vision to “bless the 1.5 million people” in our diocese who currently have no meaningful opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

You will play a key role supporting the development of our transformation plan, helping to secure funding, and then coordinating key elements of the Strategic Programme. 

The post is based at Church House, Daresbury, with some travel around the Diocese.  A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.

In this role, you will be part of the GB-wide Learning Network of the Methodist Church, encouraging and resourcing life-long learning.

This role is aligned to Scotland and covers a wide range of learning and development areas within the life of the church, aimed at supporting, encouraging and inspiring the church in living out ‘Our Calling:  to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission’.
The Learning Network works primarily with lay and ordained church leaders, equipping them as they in turn seek to equip all God’s people. A particular focus of this role will be to further the mission of churches, circuits and districts and support the development of new worshipping communities in different contexts.

As the successful applicant, you will work with other team members across the Learning Network and wider Connexional Team, to enable Methodist people in all aspects of their calling as together we seek to be an inclusive, justice seeking, evangelistic and growing church.

About You

The role includes:

• supporting circuits in exploring vision and developing mission plans;
• working collaboratively with colleagues to plan, develop and review learning and development in areas such as leadership development, biblical literacy, vocation, worship leading and preaching, pastoral care, ministerial wellbeing, supervision, conflict resolution, mission and ministry with all ages;
• facilitating effective and potentially transformational conversations on a variety of subjects;
• enabling, equipping and resourcing through preparation, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of contextually relevant learning and development activities, events and initiatives, both for onsite and online contexts;
• contributing your particular gifts and experiences to enhance learning and development across the connexion;
• helping churches in their commitment to support the Church’s aspiration to be inclusive, justice seeking, evangelistic and growing;
• a requirement to travel, and work during some evenings and weekends.
• a requirement to be a member of a church in good standing with Churches Together in Britain and Ireland or equivalent.

Key skills include:

• Building good relationships with the District(s) and with individuals and communities across the church and beyond;
• An ability to work interculturally, being sensitive to working across different nations or jurisdictions, with an understanding of contextual theology;
• Good communication, including utilising digital mediums, planning, organising, and leadership skills;
• An understanding of safeguarding;
• Supporting adult learners;
• Theologically thinking and the ability to facilitate others in developing theological conversation;
• Flexible and creative approach.

You will have significant experience in offering learning and development support and theological reflection in a relevant context.
