We are a well-established charity that has recently launched a new strategy to accelerate the progress and funding of neurological research. This is a new role. The role
Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role as part of the Fundraising Team by providing the highest levels of fundraising and event administration support to ensure the provision of seamless, excellent supporter care and assistance to our supporters.
Whilst this role is primarily providing administrative support for our fundraising and event activities, there will be opportunities to be involved with all other aspects of the charity.
The successful candidate will need to be a good team player, able to work independently, flexible, hardworking and prepared to play an enthusiastic role in helping to deliver excellent supporter care and increased fundraising income. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
· Be the primary contact point with our supporters and fundraisers to provide excellent customer care
· Answer general public and supporter enquiries that come in by telephone, email and mail in a way that makes them feel important and valued regardless of the nature of their enquiry
· Ensure all fundraising income (cash, cheques online platform donations) is processed and recorded correctly onto the Donorfy database, and thanked in a timely manner
· Record as necessary enquiries, correspondence and responses on Donorfy
· Be the primary point of contact for our challenge events and community fundraisers. Build excellent relationships with them and provide materials and support, liaising before, during and following their activity/event as needed
· To work with the team to provide support for key fundraising activities such as the London Marathon and other challenge events. This will include assisting with event administration, answering telephone calls, responding to emails, thanking participants, processing donations, sending materials to participants and updating records on Donorfy
· Monitor our general email inboxes and respond to all enquiries in a timely manner
· Monitor Social Media and assist with providing content and responding to any enquires that come through these mediums
· Be responsible for ensuring stock control is monitored, both at the office and at our fulfilment house
· Appeal support: this may include contributing to content and will include monitoring schedules and deadlines
· Liaise with our fulfilment house and/or other suppliers, where necessary
· Liaise with finance as required

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.

You will also support wider functions in the team such as contributing to the organisation of our termly learners’ forum to celebrate achievement and attending events in the community to publicise our work.

We have two exciting opportunities for two Qualified and/ or Trainee Multidisciplinary Advocates to join our established and friendly Advocacy Team. About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an amazing fundraiser to join our Church and Christian Engagement team. The heart of our work centres around engaging and inspiring Churches and Christians to join us- through regular giving, one off donations, action and prayer. Whether in churches, at festivals or events you will be sharing World Vision’s work around the world helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. You will be a confident communicator, a sharer of stories, a focused fundraiser.
You will join a team working across various fundraising and engagement activities throughout the year. You will build and manage your own caseload of external relationships across the UK, combining face-to-face, online and telephone work, to connect with churches and individuals. Using our existing resources, you will offer people the opportunity to join us- whether through sponsoring a child, donating to our work in emergencies, using our discipleship resources or praying for our work around the world.
In this team, we love that each day is different - from online meetings with longstanding church supporters, to meeting new audiences at Christian festivals, or on the road supporting our work on tour with an event partner. As a key member of the team, you'll be confident managing your own workload within the context of our wider team plans, working together with colleagues in wider teams to bring our work alive. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Confidently building connections with churches and their leaders towards engaging with World Vision’s work, creating opportunities for individual giving or gifts from the church community.
- Using existing resources, campaigns and engagement tools to engage churches and individual Christians to support our work.
- Build a caseload of engaged church contacts to meet or exceed annual fundraising & acquisition goals, managing your time & workload.
- Ensure churches are on the correct supporter journey for their level of engagement, using appropriate touchpoints (telephone, email, meetings, hand written notes etc) to intelligently engage with key contacts. About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and be able to juggle multiple projects/pieces of information and form them into well-ordered activity plans and be able to prioritise.

Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.
As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring they remain organised and up-to-date. You will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team and manage the team’s email inbox. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings and projects, providing essential administrative support.
You will also be involved in coordinating data collection processes and assisting with the team’s survey functions. This will include supporting basic analysis of evaluation data and contributing to the production of reports and other key documents.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in providing administrative support, including managing shared folders and systems. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle a diverse range of responsibilities independently. You should also possess solid IT skills, including proficiency in common software packages like MS Office, and some experience using Excel for basic data analysis.

Make a difference for children now and for their future
We’re looking for someone to work with schools across Lewisham to improve the education and health potential of Young Carers. You’ll work alongside our wider team supporting Unpaid Carers across the borough.
You’ll develop relationships with schools and school staff, raising awareness and supporting the identification of Young Carers within education settings, and supporting the development of policy, guidance and resources. You’ll work one-to-one and with groups of Young Carers, and carry out home-based visits to offer support interventions.
As a Young Carers Schools Coordinator, you will also support the planning and delivery of the service’s activity package, including respite activities, online groups and face-to-face sessions.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with children, young people, and families in social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Young Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. You should be confident engaging with young people and teaching and non-teaching school professionals at all levels.
You should be an excellent communicator with great organisational skills, and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. This is a full-time role.

Support those who Care
This is an exciting opportunity to join our new service supporting Carers across City of London to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team work holistically with Carers to understand their individual circumstances and level of need. You’ll carry out home visits and community-based meetings, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Carers, families, and professionals. You will also support Carers to complete written forms and applications, draft letters, and advocate with third parties.
You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access for Carers to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities. You will also support the development of escalation plans so that Carers are prepared for unforeseen circumstances that would impact negatively on ability to care.
Together with colleagues, you will plan and deliver the service’s activity package, including coffee mornings, drop-in sessions, activities, online and face to face groups, and peer support forums. There will also be opportunities to promote the service by attending meetings and forums, and to deliver training sessions to professionals and community organisations so that they have the skills to identify Carers.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector. You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. Speaking Bengali would be an advantage.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Creating, developing and evaluating hyh’s online and social media presence to engage supporters, stakeholders and the wider public and to maximise digital fundraising opportunities. The role also supports the development of digital content to support service delivery at the charity leading on public and internal comms.
The Digital Communications Assistant will:
Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising & Communications strategy as a member of the Fundraising & Communications Team
Improve supporter acquisition and retention through digital channels, building engagement and loyalty.
Source, generate, edit, schedule and post written, visual, audio and video content that drives brand awareness, is shareable and encourages actions to generate income.
With guidance, deliver outstanding and innovative communications for different audiences and across multiple channels which align with hyh’s Comms plan.
Inspire, inform and motivate supporters to give to hyh as well as demonstrating the impact of their donations on beneficiaries.
Learn to manage a calendar programme of social media and website activity.

Create and update content for hyh’s website
Develop and grow TikTok content which is engaging and educational, becoming hyh’s expert on this channel
Create digital materials to support the Fundraising team across all income generation streams with their activities and campaigns throughout the year.
Over time, act as a brand champion within hyh, promoting the use of social media and encouraging greater understanding of the website and social media channels
Keep abreast of new developments, trends and technologies, identifying and proposing new digital opportunities for hyh.
