Job description

Database, Social Media and Office Administrator

Merton Mencap is a local charity supporting young people and adults with a learning disabilty and / or autism and their family carers in the borough of Merton.

We provide weekday, weekend and holiday clubs, as well as learning opportunities at our Community Cafe.  We hold lots of fundraising events such as indoor sky diving, our annual charity auction and staff joining together to sing Christmas carols in shopping centres to raise funds to support our projects.

This is a varied role and the successful candidate will be pivital to all aspects of the business, working with all members of the Senior Management Team as well as project staff who work across the borough of Merton.

The applicant will be responsible to the Office Manager and will support them in day to day operations for the charity, as well as being a social media and database expert for the charity.  Training on our database system will be provided.

The role is office based in our Merton Offices and can be worked over 2 or 3 days per week, 52 wks per year.

The charity offers a staff healthcare benefit scheme, pension and annual leave.
