About the role

Working within our small, dynamic staff team, this role will primarily provide support to the Executive Director in the following areas: communicating the work of the foundation to key stakeholders; lead on and maintaining relationships with trade union groups; driving forward our community grants programme, demonstrating the policy, research and campaign impact of the foundation; general strategic and managerial deputisation.

The role would suit a communications or programmes specialist who is comfortable working flexibly across a number of briefs as befits a small and adaptable organisation. A successful candidate will need to demonstrate an affinity with, and understanding of, the work of the foundation, a flair for messaging, both in print, digitally, and in terms of design, and an administrative and motivational rigour capable of driving forward multiple grant-making programmes with complex timelines.

The role can be either home or office based, but candidates must be willing to spend at least three days a month in our London office.

About the project  

Set up by the Southwark Community Refugee Forum, alongside Southwark local community and charity organisations. Kineara provides a weekly drop-in surgery at the St Giles Center giving support and advice to refugees struggling to find PRS due to many barriers, including language. In 2023 the collaboration was formed to respond to the increasing need for housing support to asylum seekers with newly granted refugee status after the Home office made changes to the way they process asylum seekers.   

After 9 months of delivery, we are excited to have secured funding to deliver this work fulltime alongside our PRS Renters Support Programme in Southwark. We will provide crucial crisis support to vulnerable renters and are looking for a passionate housing support worker to be part of the next phase of the project.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic support worker to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Housing Support Practitioner in our small and dedicated team. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with the Council’s housing officers and resettlement workers, refugee support organisations, community services. The role involves coordinate tailored support for each client to find and sustain tenancies, mediating with landlords where necessary and providing housing advice. The objective of this programme is to support access to PRS properties, provide information about housing market and polices, help set up sustainable tenancies, increase employment opportunities, improve wellbeing, and increase educational outcomes. You will be working in partnership with other stakeholders, such as council and refugee support professionals to improve family health, build relationships and engage families and individuals and their networks of support.

A London-based Museum is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee the running of the finance directorate. This is a key role in the Museum, leading the finances from all aspects including budgeting and financial planning, oversight of day to day financial operations, and year end processes. About the Role:

The Waking Night Support Worker will work in line with person-centred risk assessments, support plans, and liaise with Support Workers to provide comprehensive handover and partnership working. This role is based in the UK on a remote homeworking contract or based in our London office. If the role is based in the London office, you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days.

About the role

The Senior Developer (Full-stack) plays a key role in developing and enhancing user-centric digital products at Christian Aid. This position focuses on delivering high-quality front-end (70%) and back-end (30%) solutions on the Drupal CMS, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.

Working closely with the Technical Lead, you'll address complex challenges identified by stakeholders and user feedback, providing strategic direction and innovative solutions. This role is crucial to the success of our digital initiatives, requiring a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking.

About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in supporting ODI's strategic decision-making and financial management processes. The post holder will lead on partnering with programme managers to provide insights, analysis, and advice on financial performance and strategic opportunities.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will work closely with a Finance Business Partner in supporting half of ODI’s programmes. The other half of programmes will be supported by another Senior Finance Business Partner and Finance Business Partner pairing.

The Senior Finance Business Partner will deputise for the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis when needed.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Produce, communicate and deliver robust financial plans for the programme; undertake regular forecasting and monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed budgets
• Communicate matters relating to financial planning and operations, exchange ideas and best practice, develop excellent relationships across areas and contribute positively in all aspects of the Department’s work.
• Scrutinise, and confirm funding of all hiring decisions in consultation with Human Resources and programmes
• Review and approve donor financial reports
• Lead on the production of the programme level management accounts
• Provide clear and visible leadership on financial management for programmes
• Mentor and develop the Finance Business Partner

About you

Knowlede and qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Current knowledge of relevant accounting standards and sector issues
• Ability to present financial data to a high level of accuracy, including to a non- finance audience

Experience

• A senior financial business partner role within a medium sized, non-profit organisation
• Extensive experience in a donor funded environment.
