Job description

Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting a leading animal welfare organisation in the search for an Innovation Strategy Manager to join its Innovation Team.

£51,313 per annum | Permanent | 35 hours per week
Battersea, London | Hybrid – 50% office-based

As Innovation Strategy Manager, you will help shape and deliver the organisation's innovation strategy, working across teams to identify challenges, generate insight and turn opportunities into practical action.

The role will focus on:

  • Developing and evolving the organisation's innovation strategy.
  • Identifying emerging trends, insights and opportunities and translating these into strategic recommendations.
  • Bringing together user insight, data and external research to inform priorities.
  • Helping identify and prioritise high-impact innovation opportunities.
  • Supporting the development and management of an innovation pipeline.
  • Helping successful innovations move from pilots into implementation and scale.
  • Capturing learning from implementation and feeding this into future innovation activity.
  • Building strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
  • Working closely with Insight colleagues to ensure evidence informs decision-making.

You will bring:

  • Strong strategic thinking, insight and synthesis skills.
  • Experience framing problems and turning ambiguity into clear direction.
  • A track record of translating strategy into actionable plans.
  • Experience implementing new processes, tools or ways of working.
  • Strong research and evidence-led decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and disciplines.
  • Experience engaging external partners to bring new ideas and expertise.
  • Knowledge of innovation approaches such as design thinking, experimentation and impact measurement.

This is an exciting opportunity to help a purpose-led organisation identify opportunities, test new ideas and develop innovative solutions that create greater impact for animals and the people who care for them.
