The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Officer (Cash) will include:

• Preparing cash flow forecasts to support cash management, and support the payment run process
• Providing cash flow reports to the Cabinet Office to support the monthly group submission to HM Treasury
• Working with the Cabinet Office Treasury team in relation to funding requests
• Supporting the payroll and staff costs recording, ad-hoc recharging and purchase to pay processes
• Supporting continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the function, delivering maximum value for the GPA and ensuring robust controls are in place
• Preparing and processing journals
• Acting as contact for external and internal auditors of cash and associated controls
• Building relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness.
• Working with stakeholders, especially the Property Partner, to ensure key information is provided to aid robust forecasting

Key Skills & Experience 

• Good experience of accounts payable, receivable and cash management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data
• Ability to develop productive relationships and effective networks with stakeholders across government organisations
• Good experience of systems and reporting e.g. Oracle
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team

This team oversees the maintenance and performance of all building systems across the theatres, offices, public spaces, the Swan Bar and Restaurant, and offsite properties, while working closely with The Security team to keep the site safe for audiences, staff, and artists.

Working with other departments, the team supports the smooth running of performances, events, education programmes, and commercial activities by maintaining high standards of building safety, life-safety systems, and operational readiness. • Proven experience coordinating hard FM services within a complex estate.

- Forging close relationships with philanthropists.

-  Cross-team working with our Insurance United Against Dementia and Sport United Against Dementia development boards, to grow our philanthropic networks.

Job purpose

To provide over-indebted Londoners with free, face-to-face advice that is accurate, effective, and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. To maintain detailed case records, and keep up to date with legislation, policies, and procedures; as well as undertaking appropriate training.

Scope of role

The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, face-to-face debt advice to over-indebted Londoners, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Information Security Manager to join our fantastic Service Delivery team at RBL.

This important and newly created role will see you take responsibility for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the RBL data and systems and will lead on activities that assess, report and mitigate risk. You will play a pivotal role in the management and containment of security incidents, ensuring continuous improvement with RBLs security while raising awareness for staff, volunteer and member communities.

Reporting to our Head of Technology Operations and Security, key responsibilities will include:

- Lead on activities that assess, report and mitigate risk, with the focus being to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of RBL’s information assets
- Take responsibility for RBLs information and data protection policies, practices and settings
- Lead on the design and implementation of robust processes for reviewing & addressing the data security posture of third-party suppliers
- Develop RBL’s policies and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and standards such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and ISO27001
- Implement and oversee security awareness training initiatives to ensure adherence to the organisation’s security protocols

You will be an expert in your field with significant experience in security and compliance management, comfortable with the management and complexity of information security. You will be contracted to our London Haig House Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

Role Description

Black Thrive are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator to join the Thriving Futures team. This role will be dedicated to support the organisational workstreams to deliver engaging programmes to Black communities both regionally and nationally.

Project and relationship management skills and experience are key in this role and requires knowledge or experience working in a projects/programme coordination environment. We’re looking for someone who has excellent administrative and stakeholder management skills, as much of this role will be leading on overseeing the delivery of the programme with external stakeholders (up to senior level), who are driving delivery both locally and strategically.

You will be supporting the Thriving Futures Partnerships and Programme Manager, to monitor and deliver the objectives of the project. This will be a combination of design, delivery, analysis, evaluation and report writing; to help us tell the story of our progress along the way.

Black Thrive uses a work systems application and Microsoft Excel to efficiently track and achieve the strategic objectives of the Thriving Futures - Scaling Systems Change programme.

• Relationship management with project leads and teams across London, Birmingham, Scotland, and Wales, encouraging strong collaboration, best practice and communication.
• Provide tailored one-to-one support in facilitating monthly face to face team and hybrid meetings to resolve challenges and co-develop practical solutions. 
• Monitor project delivery across workstreams to ensure deliverables are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Track and manage changes, risks, and issues, maintaining up-to-date logs and dashboards to support effective decision-making.
• Budget monitoring, escalating discrepancies and coordinate financial processes, including requesting invoices.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to produce accurate reports that demonstrate programme impact to funders.
• Maintain and update Black Thrive’s project management system to ensure efficient and transparent delivery of the Thriving Futures workstream.
• Organising, cofacilitating cross-functional meetings and events, including Thriving Futures Collective meetings, bringing stakeholders together to drive progress.
• Manage associated administration such as diary coordination, agenda preparation, presentation design, minute-taking, and action tracking.
• Oversee the communications calendar, filter content requests, and draft compelling internal and external communications drafts to promote Thriving Futures activities.
• Provide on the ground backbone support to localities through one-to-one guidance and in-person visits, strengthening programme delivery.
• Represent the programme at key engagement events; including community assemblies and workshops that may occur outside core working hours.
• Contribute flexibly to cross-functional delivery activities across localities as required.
• Collaborate with the Black Thrive Global HR & Admin Manager and the Operations team on broader team initiatives as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies, including equality, safeguarding, health and safety, data protection, and financial governance.

Personal Specification

Essential

• 1-2 years’ experience in project coordination and administration within an organisation managing multiple and/or complex programmes and partnerships.
• Experience in project management and/or project coordination with track records of monitoring, tracking risks, compliance and self driving small projects.
• Experience in diary management, facilitating project meetings, and creating action plans.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in stakeholder management across varying levels of seniority.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint (or equivalent systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt complex information for diverse audiences.
• Requirement to occasionally travel to visit localities and attending events locally across London and nationally. 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders from different professional backgrounds.
• Commitment to equality and inclusion, with a solid understanding of the experiences of Black people of African and Caribbean descent and a strong drive to address systemic barriers impacting health and wellbeing.

Our client is the only national charity supporting people living with lupus and those that care for them. They hold an ambition for a world where people with lupus can live full and active lives and work hard to empower people by providing information about lupus and offering support so their voices are heard and their condition diagnosed and managed effectively. With 35 years of service, the charity is now embarking on an ambitious new strategy, aiming to broaden and deepen its reach across the lupus community.  

This is a varied and vital role, central to ensuring the smooth running of the charity’s office and operations. Working closely with the Finance and Resource Manager, you will provide executive assistance, office management, and administrative support across departments, while also acting as the first point of contact for general office enquiries. You will provide diary management and meeting coordination support to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, and will assist with project work, including the preparation of documents and sending out surveys via email or post. You will liaise closely with internal colleagues as well as with external stakeholders to ensure the smooth-running of office operations, and will maintain office supplies, liaising with suppliers and contractors for building and cleaning maintenance.
