About the role:
As a Recruitment/HR Administrator, you will be joining a small dedicated Recruitment team providing an effective and efficient recruitment service to meet the organisation’s resourcing and staffing needs. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries and requests to the team; providing a high level of customer service throughout the recruitment cycle.
You will also be responsible for carrying out the administrative tasks for the recruitment and on-boarding of new staff and ensuring that our recruitment processes, continue to adhere to best practice, equality, fairness and relevant employment legislation. You will also be involved in the wider HR team's Projects on EDI and organisational changes, this will include designing and delivering training to hiring managers and wider SHP staff.
As an integral part of the HROD team you will have the opportunity to welcome new starters into the organisation with a positive attitude and insight into a flourishing career at SHP.
There is ample opportunity for the role to be worked from home, with an occasional need (e.g., 1-2 days per week) to attend our head office in King's Cross to facilitate interviews, attend team meetings and other business needs.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment within HR and or recruitment with experience of working with and maintaining HR and Recruitment systems, including but not limited to ATS (applicant tracking system), payroll, HR and DBS services.
- A strong understanding of the key administrative tasks carried out within a recruitment process and of the legal requirements of the recruitment process and HR department.
- A pro-active approach and ability to work using own initiative.
- Able to understand and follow written policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and securely protect data with an attention to detail with the ability to process and update information accurately.

Partnership Manager - Wales
Location: The role will be based out of the BookTrust Offices in Cardiff. About this role:
Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk and Portfolio Management this role plays an important part in the provision of loans and blended funding (loans and grants) to our charity and social enterprise customers.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of lending, relationship management and managing a portfolio of business/organisation loan customers. This is a great opportunity for someone to be involved in making a difference to people. We need someone who is passionate, proactive, can work well autonomously and as part of a team and is flexible, adaptable and can manage competing priorities.
Members of the investment team are based in different regions across England. This role will primarily manage customers within London, the West of England, South of England and South West of England, although some customers may be located right across the UK. Regular customer visits will be a requirement of the role as well as in person team meetings. We are looking for applicants based in London or the area to the West or South West of London (within circa 2 hours travel time from London) to ensure you are able to easily reach customers across these regions.
Key responsibilities
Relationship Management
1. Responsible for managing a portfolio of SIBs smaller investments (loans and grants) and acting as the primary point of contact for all communications with those customers.
2. Build and maintain strong working relationships with all investees within your portfolio, arranging in-person visits and/or video meetings on a regular basis and when otherwise needed.
3. Collect, review and report on monitoring information from loans/grants recipients which is predominatly financial information (management accounts, annual accounts and forecasts) and social impact progression.
4. Ensure scheduled loan repayments due from investees are received in line with agreed schedules and take action where not received.
5. Proactively identify emerging support needs and recommend methods to address these, including sources of external advice/support.
6. Discuss potential variations to the terms of loans or grants with investees and prepare and submit loan variation recommendations to internal committees including the SIB Investment Committee, including challenging situations where the customer is in default or financail distress.
7. Undertake assessments of new loans and develop relationship to orginate new loan applications.
8. Undertake AML/KYC, eligibility and fraud checks on new borrowers.
9. Drawing up loan and security documentation where required.
10. Arrange drawdown and disbursements of funding.
11. Generate new SIB customers through referrals from customers within your portfolio and your own professional networks.
General
12. Support and/or lead on relevant investment team projects as and when required.
13. Take enquiries from and provide guidance to applicants on all SIB funds.
14. Provide constructive suggestions to improve ongoing processes and input into the design and development of new products.

Working Well Trust is a mental health, learning disability and neurodiverse and employment focused charity in London. Job Purpose
Growing Hope is a national charity with a growing number of clinics across the UK. This operations role will provide support across the Growing Hope national staff team. This will include support with administration, finance, fundraising and training. This role is key in enabling all the functions of the national charity to run smoothly and effectively. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow. It is anticipated that this time will be flexible and adjusted according to the needs and priorities at the time. Specifically the role with include:
IT administration
- Administration of IT systems, logins and spreadsheets for the team, volunteers, staff and freelancers (keeping these up to date and amending systems as required).
- Ordering and setting up IT hardware and software for individuals joining the team.
- Oversight of IT systems used by Growing Hope including ticket tailor, jot form, mail chimp, Microsoft office, google adverts and tracking. Supporting with problem solving when issues arise.
- Overseeing and training others in Canopy (clinic administration software) and helping support and problem solve with using this. This includes liaising with a freelance software developer to manage the development project.
HR administration
- Oversight of the recruitment checking process for new volunteers, trustees, freelancers and employees. This includes carrying out DBS checks, calling referees, chasing for references and communicating with individuals as they start with Growing Hope.
- Management of the ‘internal news’ list in order to track individuals working closely with the charity.
- Writing, drafting and sending out HR letters, contracts and contract variations.
- Organising internal events on behalf of the team including away days, training days and ad hoc events.
- Organising online training as required for members of the Growing Hope team.
Office Support
- Overseeing the day to day office and building use including the alarm, maintenance visits, wifi, printer and other equipment. This includes liaising with other individuals who have office use.
- Liaising with the Director of Operations around the use of the office.
- Ordering office supplies as required, ensuring office space and storage is kept organised.
- Supporting with external events planning including finding venues, sponsorship and items needed.
- Ordering equipment as required across the team.
- Ad hoc tasks as required across the team.
Volunteer admin support
- Processing volunteer applications and induction as required.
- Oversight of volunteers using the office space on a day to day basis. Including allocating volunteer tasks and explaining and supporting with these as required.
- Managing volunteer IT access.
General
- Sending letters and emails and making phone calls as required.
- Logging all actions on Salesforce database.
- Maintain data protection & confidentiality in line with Growing Hope’s policy.

East End Community Foundation is an independent charitable Foundation that aims to build partnerships and invest in communities to make lasting change so local residents can access the wealth of opportunities that surround them. For over 30 years they have been supporting individuals and local charities in the East End of London.
As the Head of Development & Communications, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and achieving EECF’s income generation strategy. This will involve evaluating current income generation and building upon existing donor relationships and growing new meaningful donor partnerships. With a focus on high value fundraising across, individuals and corporate, this role will work with and manage a small team of three to achieve income generation goals. It will also be part of the Senior Management Team and work closely with other internal relationships to achieve growth.
To be successful as the Head of Development & Communications you will have proven experience within fundraising and particularly across high value income streams. This person will also have had previous line management experience and be keen to manage a small team to achieve success. They will be strong in building meaningful relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices 2-3 days per week. The salary for this role is £50,000 to £55,000.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Gateshead and a fifth in Redbridge. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. This will involve line management of the Fundraising Manager and Executive Assistant in the team. The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. Part 1: Role Purpose:
The Global Press & PR Manager will play a vital role in growing awareness and exposure of Street Child, working with journalists, editors and media houses to build a consistent and pro-active media presence. Street Child’s Global MMC team is fully integrated into the whole organisation and our primary aim is to raise awareness of Street Child and act as a force-multiplier for fundraising efforts.
The role will explore new media relationships and re-ignite existing contacts, turbo-charging the value press and media generates for Street Child.
This is a role for a high-class media professional with a passion for our mission, great energy, imaginations and fantastic relationship building skills. This role requires an individual who will be based in our London office for a minimum of three days a week.
Tasks include delivering media coverage across global outlets, supporting the delivery of media training and briefings and the management/development of Street Child’s podcast.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
Delivering global media coverage (80%):
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with journalists across a range of broadcast, print and digital media outlets, looking beyond mainstream media to deliver global reach.
- Writing and publishing compelling, engaging press releases
- Manage and deliver media coverage on key campaigns and initiatives
- Support on the delivery of media briefings, including for the CEO, where required
- Lead and deliver PR campaigns, including influencer activations and activity
