We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of leading a team of staff who have lived experience of many of the issues facing children and young people on the estates of Eltham.
Superkidz Community Trust was founded in 2001 and over the years, has provided children and young people with a safe space to play and to interact with adults who have the time to listen to them. We have developed a model of engagement, Transform Group and Individual Mentoring (TGIM), that puts interaction at the heart – not simply providing activities but ensuring that there are sufficient adults around to engage the young person in conversation and the chance to express worries, self-doubt and concerns.
All our workers are drawn from the local community and many have been beneficiaries of Superkidz themselves. Most have lived experience of the issues facing our young people.

You will therefore be able to ensure data and information is presented in a public friendly and accessible way. You will develop relationships with key stakeholders and supporters in Wales and work to implement campaigns that will engage and inspire them to take action. You will also provide advice and guidance internally on the Welsh context, culture and language and in relation to your programmes.
For this high-profile role, you must have experience in multi-channel communications and sound knowledge of the media landscape in Wales. Importantly, you will have experience of working in a bilingual environment in Wales and be able to converse in the Welsh language.
Effective at developing and delivering on communications plans aimed at a variety of groups, you will be comfortable speaking to journalists and using digital and social media tools to engage, mobilise and influence key audiences. You will also have a track record of delivering projects or campaigns working with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders.

Purpose of the Post
To ensure the development of a strategic communication, marketing, and engagement strategy for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector within the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership. Our Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership, in collaboration with Bradford Council, NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board and VCSE infrastructure support organisations, have commissioned a new transitional VCSE Activation Contract.

- Activate the Voice and Influence of Citizens and the VCSE Sector to ensure insight and experience of diverse citizens and VCSE organisations inform and support activity which takes pressure off front line health and social care services.
- And will seek out the voices and insight of the most marginalised communities and those of the VCSE organisations that are working with and supporting those groups to achieve the outcome described above. This citizen voice is a key theme to how we make decisions across our place – Bradford District and Craven.
During this coming year we will work together as partners driven by our ethos to ‘Act as One’ to focus on our shared ambition of people living ‘happy, healthy at home’. Specifically taking pressure off front health and care front line services
