About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding Institutional Programme Funding Principal to lead our institutional fundraising efforts. This role is critical in shaping and implementing our funding strategy, ensuring we secure and manage large-scale grants that drive our global mission forward. You will be responsible for developing high-quality funding applications, managing relationships with key institutional donors, and ensuring compliance with all funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

These are exciting times for Women's Pioneer Housing. We have recently achieved planning permission for two new developments and over the next 2 years, we will be developing over 160 new homes for single women in West London, including brand new offices on our site at 227 Wood Lane.

Reporting to the Housing Services Manager, we are looking for a Housing Officer to join a small team in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will manage a patch of approximately 260 properties in West London and will be responsible for managing rent and service charge collection, lettings and antisocial behaviour, as well as supporting our residents with general enquiries. We work with colleagues across all areas of the business to provide an excellent service for our residents, helping drive up resident engagement and satisfaction, as well as meeting key performance targets.
Ideally you will bring direct experience in these areas however, relevant transferable skills are as important. You must be an effective communicator be organised, empathetic and understand the need to create effective resolution outcomes. You will be visiting residents in their homes, talking to them on the phone and corresponding with them in writing so excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are crucial for this role. You will also be working with external agencies, including the Police and Social Services and be capable of forming effective partnership arrangements.
You will be equipped with mobile technology to deliver a flexible service, visible and accessible to our residents. We want individuals who are able to find positive outcomes and who can demonstrate a passion for customer service with residents at the heart of what you do.
What you bring will allow you to work collaboratively with staff across the organisation and with our residents where you will professionally and positively interact with different groups of people, building relationships where you are trusted and inspire confidence. You must be able to prioritise your work, pay attention to detail and ensure you meet tight deadlines.
You will contribute to ensuring our quality standards are met and our services deliver in meeting our residents’ expectations. To do this you will be able to translate and apply information, policies and legislation, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills in your dealings with stakeholders. Your IT skills will bring a proven ability in the use of various software packages to accurately populate and record information.

The RSPCA is embracing new ways in which we involve and engage volunteers with our work. As part of an ambitious transformation programme we will be testing exciting initiatives, starting with a 12 month pilot of Area Volunteer Support Partners across six trial areas.
We're looking for six talented individuals who have strong people skills and are fantastic at building great working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
In this role you'll be providing expert volunteer management support to our local managers and coordinators, whilst ensuring that the volunteer experience is embedded into all that we do. You'll develop an understanding of the volunteer skills and commitment needs of the local teams you work with, and help them recruit the right people, onboard them and keep them engaged.
You'll also work closely with the volunteers in your area and take time to understand their motivations to volunteer and the skills and experience they offer. By bringing together volunteers from across the local area, you'll identify opportunities where volunteers can collaborate and support different parts of the organisation.
To support our transformation programme, you'll be testing and trialling new volunteering initiatives as defined by our transformation project team. You'll implement initiatives working to agreed timescales whilst helping design processes to aid their adoption by local teams. You'll gather evidence to evaluate their success and provide feedback to the project team.
This role is a home worker role with regular travel within your defined area. You'll be travelling to meet with volunteers, colleagues and local community organisations so a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential.

This role will be to support the perpetrator intervention across Wiltshire.
You will be primarily based in Wiltshire supporting the Domestic Abuse Serial Perpetrator (DASP) project, providing bespoke specialist support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The post holder will work as part of the IOM team within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure that clients who show abusive behaviour are supported through every stage of the process of change. Evening appointments are necessary for this post in Salisbury and Chippenham.
In addition, you will support the delivery of the CPR (Choosing Positive Relationships) Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP), which is an intensive behaviour change programme, designed to increase knowledge and understanding around domestic abuse, the impact on children and healthy relationships. The course teaches tools and strategies to help someone change their behaviour. The CPR group will require weekly evening work in Wiltshire.
The post-holder will be expected to work to Respect standards.
Full training will be available for this role.
Client Based Duties
- Identify and assess the risks and needs of individuals who are abusive in a relationship or other domestic setting, using an evidence-based risk identification checklist.
- Develop personalised risk assessments and safety plans for each service user.
- Advocate for individuals who wish to address their abusive behaviour and show motivation for change with agencies who can help to address the domestic abuse by:
- Understanding the role of all relevant statutory and non-statutory services available to those who are abusive and how your role fits into them.
- Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to individuals, including in relation to drug and alcohol, housing, health and finance.
- Working directly with all key agency partners to address the impact of the abusive behaviour on the safety of high risk victims and ensuring that their safety plans are coordinated.
- Support the client to recognise the abusive behaviour and the effect that it has on their families and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation and help them change unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
- Understand multi-agency partnership structures and work within a multi-agency setting which may include participation at the MAPPA/MARAC. You will contribute interventions and help design a plan to protect victims and any children, while maintaining an independent role on behalf of your client, keeping the victim and any children’s safety as central to any response.
- Ensure support provided is accessible to clients in terms of location and times.
- Be proactive with your line manager in carrying out regular case reviews based on a review of risk and abuse which:
- Feeds back into action planning to further progress, signpost or close cases and;
- Provides feedback to your clients/agencies.
- Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
